[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did my patch test 48 hours before dying my hair. I occasionally dye my hair red, I like the l'oreal color rista bright red, which lasts ages so this time I thought I'd try out the preference vivids permanent gel in dark purple. I applied as normal and left on for 30 minutes.
My hair looked so glossy like in the ads and felt smooth. Before dying my hair, it was a medium/light brown colour, now it looks more black than dark purple. In the sun there is a slight hint of purple but it mainly looks black. It has made my hair look nice and healthy and did cover the odd grey hairs I had! I'll most probably try one of the reds next time.
