This award is launched at the initiative of L'Oréal Paris, as part of its global Women for Worth program, deployed simultaneously worldwide. Rooted in L'Oréal Paris' enduring belief that everyone deserves to feel worthy — "I'm Worth It" — this program turns that promise of self-worth and confidence into concrete action.
Its ambition is to celebrate and support women and men who, as leaders of an NGO, a non-profit organization or a non-profit initiative, take concrete action to empower women and advance social progress for women in society.
The award recognises their commitment to addressing one or more of the four transversal challenges identified by L'Oréal Paris in its Self-Worth Tracker[1], the world's first measure of self-worth defined by women themselves, as priorities for women's self-worth and place in society: security, equal pay, financial independence, and access to employment.
It is structured around four communities (Women & Art/Culture, Women & Sport, Women & Tech, and Men for Worth), reflecting the ecosystems in which candidates exercise their influence and impact, and affirming that men, too, have a role to play in building a more equal future for women.
Each year, four individuals across Australia and New Zealand, will be named Women/Men for Worth and rewarded with a $32,000 AUD charitable grant, mentorship from the L’Oréal Paris network and a national and global platform to share their story, scale their impact and bring worth to the greatest number of women across the world.

A JURY OF EXPERTS, ONE VOICE OF TRUST
To ensure the Women for Worth award reflects real impact and lasting change, each of the four honourees will be selected by a dedicated panel of experts (one per community). These juries bring together recognised voices with deep expertise, credibility and legitimacy in their respective fields, ensuring that the selection process honour the spirit of the award: celebrating genuine, measurable commitment to advancing women in society.
