L'ORÉAL PARIS INTERNATIONAL
BOARD OF DERMATOLOGISTS &
EXPERTS
L’Oréal Paris is committed to safety and efficacy. That’s why we work with dermatologists and experts in skincare science from all around the world on the creation and validation of our most advanced products.
Started in 2018, we have an independent advisory panel of dermatologist's compromises of 25 leading dermatologists from the US, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East, who undertake full product review and analysis of our most advanced formulas before they go to market to upkeep our brand promise of proven efficacy.
*Based on NielsenIQ RMS data for the Female Face Care category for the 12-month period ending December 2023 for the total of 33 countries(1), total retail market (Copyright © 2024, NielsenIQ).
The final step is the Board’s validation of the product that allows us to use the stamp: “created by L’Oréal Paris, validated with Dermatologists” and provide an additional level of endorsement.
“Once the scientific data meets our standards, we approve it. And that’s when you see ‘Validated with Dermatologists’”

ELISABETH BOUHADANA
L’Oréal Paris’ Global Scientific Director
For more than 30 years, L’Oréal Paris laboratories have worked closely with dermatologists around the world to benefit from their expertise. All our products are scientifically tested under the control of dermatologists and undergo consumer tests by independent institutes to guarantee safety and performance for all women whatever their skin type or tone.
Today we wanted to go a step further by bringing together an advisory committee of dermatologists: 25 international experts who have access to all the details of the scientific files of our most advanced products, and with whom we validate the safety and effectiveness of our formulas to ensure that our products deliver promises that can be proven.
