How To Use
1. Mix developer and colouring cream and shake
2. Apply directly to roots using either soft brush applicator for easy, all over coverage or precision tip for precise root application
3. Leave for 10 minutes to develop
4. Rinse thoroughly

Easy to Use Root Concealer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loreal Magic Retouch is the perfect solution for when I just can't be bothered to colour my entire head of hair and when I don't want to have to wait half an hour doing nothing, just waiting for the colour to set! It's really easy to use. You just apply it for ten minutes and then rinse out. I think the best bit is being able to rinse it out as previous concealers I have used have been the spray-on type, which tends to be sticky, and always makes me worried that it will run in the rain!
I also like the targeted application with the Soft Brush Tip or Precision Tip which is included. It's less messy.
All in all, a very handy product!

It's magic!

A very simple and easy formula to use. The applicator was the best and my favourite part. Easy to comb through and apply the solution. The coverage was great but it just wasn't enough in the bottle to do all regrowth. Only the front and top of your head. Whilst this probably is enough for a lot of people, I personally would have liked a little bit more as I wear my hair up a lot. It would have been 5 stars if there was more to do all regrowth. The colour is fantastic and blended in well with the colour I had already died my hair a few months ago. It washes out easy and there is literally no mess. It took longer to brush my hair than apply and wash out.

Fantastic! Mess free application

So convenient and easy to use!
I have been colouring my hair for years and I have always found the process to be messy and time consuming so I am so happy to finally find a product that makes the whole process much easier. Loreal magic retouch has a brush on the end which makes it super easy to comb through the dye for a nice even coverage and it ensured that my roots were well covered. The applicator made colouring my hair so much easier as it stoped the dye from ending up in all the wrong places like on my neck, forehead or ears. It was so good to colour my hair without the mess and the end result was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

Grey coverage

The packaging looked good, language used looked promising ie 100% grey coverage. 10min application.
The instructions were clearly set out, the contents inside matched instructions.
Easy to follow, mix & apply. Good quality gloves, not cheap plastic. Application brush, was easy to apply colour to hair.
Followed instructions, used the 48hr test before full application, mostly to sides and top of hair.
I applied a good amount to sides, saturating my grey sections and left on for added tume as directed.
It did an ok job, did not 100% cover greys bit still an ok option.
Condition was lovely and easy to apply, leaving it silky.
Box made it easy to dispose of contents.

Great coverage!

The instructions were clear not too wordy. With regard to the application, the brush was fantastic because it guided me around the hairline and throughout my hair when I was applying the product. The gloves fit well and they didn't stick together. The end result was great, no greys left, however I could have gone a shade lighter. I would have liked to have seen recycling instructions on the actually instructions (to make it fool proof). I did however see it on the flap but had to really look for it. Overall it was a quick easy process and I would definitely buy the product. Thank you for the opportunity!

Completely Ineffective

Not new to using home dye kits, but first time with this kit to cover Greys. Applied and left for 10 mins suggested (more like 15) and then rinsed and washed as suggested. Not one of my grey hairs had actually taken the colour. First time I've ever had this with home colour kit, so not sure if there was something wrong with the solution or if recommended time is not long enough, but very disappointed in this waste of time and money.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Awesome product!

This product is amazing! Easy to mix and then you can choose to apply it with the traditional applicator tip or with a brush which attaches to the bottle. I used the brush and it was fantastic! It was so helpful having the brush for the hairline, made application so easy and no dripping.
I was covering grey so I left the product on for the suggested 15 minutes, the smell was actually really pleasant.
After 15 minutes I washed it off and applied shampoo and conditioner.
Once dried my roots looked awesome! Lovely and shiny and complete grey coverage.
I will definitely use this product again!

Easy Application

It was great timing to have received the L'Oreal Magic Retouch Root Touchup. I have a fair bit of greys and am about to go on a holiday and just needed to get my hair in shape. I found the kit very easy to use, comes with handy instructions that are very understandable. I mixed the colour gel with the developer and used the soft brush applicator in the parts with grey hair. I decided to extend the application to 15 minutes to gain good coverage. I was very satisfied with the coverage, my greys were nicely gone and the dark brown colour suited my hair very nicely. I'm so happy to have tried this product. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a quick and effective touch up at home. So easy!
