How To Use
1. Mix developer and colouring cream and shake
2. Apply directly to roots using either soft brush applicator for easy, all over coverage or precision tip for precise root application
3. Leave for 10 minutes to develop

Super easy application

The application process was so easy especially with the brush tip I was able to apply it onto my hair super quick which is great when you have two kids at home! Loved the brush on and it stopped it from making a mess and going every where like other hair colours. There was no need to clean up leaked hair dye at the end! I loved the process! However I did wait ten minutes and washed my hair and it did not cover my greys! Maybe I needed to leave it on longer or the colour was not dark enough for my hair as it was a light brown! I would definitely give it another go with a darker colour next time!
Instructions were great and it was just a easy and smooth process!

Easy Peasy Root Coverage

I really enjoyed using the loreal magic touch up permanent. The product was very easy to mix and apply to my roots. I did prefer to use the precision applicator tip, as my roots we not too long at the time and I wanted to have more control over the application. My grey roots were covered completely. I would of liked a Blonde/ Brown colour as a shade choice, but the light brown was as close of a match I could get. Over all i found the whole process quick and easy and am very happy with the results. I will definitely purchase again in between hair appointments.

Works as promised

It's fine - the colour blended in fine with the existing brown dye - doing touch ups like this to stretch between hair dresser appointments is a good budget conscious option. However, the packaging could do with some thought - there is a lot of wasted space (smaller packaging is more eco friendly) and there should be a warning to make sure that you don't shake the bottle without twisting the top off first. I shook the bottle first and when I went to twist the top off, it sprayed dye a bit - there are instructions but I was on autopilot.

The instructions for set-up and application were easy to understand and follow.
The application brush made it easy to distribute through my hair and without any drips or getting on my skin.
There was enough the cover all grey re-growth including all along the hairline and the top, back and sides.
The 10 minute development time is convenient. Easy to wash out, doesn’t leave hair dull.
The colour blends well and covers regrowth well.

Easy and effective

I found this product to be one of, if not, the best I have used. I have used L'Oreal hair dyes before and this one tops the lot. The application instructions were easy to follow, the actual application was a breeze, and non messy (which is very important), and the end result was just like I had walked out of a hair salon. My delight in using this product was long lasting and I have not stopped talking about it to family and friends.

Quick and easy grey coverage

The application process was really easy and straight forward. After the mixing process, I used the soft brush cap to apply the liquid to my most visible grey roots. Afterwards I coloured the hairline, then I just waited 10 minutes and rinsed it off. The whole process was easy and mess free. And the result was just brilliant, as all the roots of my grey hair were covered and it blended wonderfully into my natural hair colour.

Magic Retouch really is Magic.

I was excited to try this as I hate spending the time it takes having to colour all my hair unnecessarily. Mixing, shaking and applying the Magic retouch permanent root touch up was so quick and easy, I was able to cleanly do it myself with no mess. It has a mild and pleasant fragrance, it only took 10 minutes to permanently colour my roots and looks so natural the name "Magic retouch Permanent" is appropriately given.

Good between colour option

This was an easy product to use. The application process is straightforward and much like a regular home colour. I did find the product smell a little overpowering, but it was good apart from that. The grey coverage is good, and the colour blends reasonably well with my existing colour. This is a good option for between full colours. My hair gets quite dry on the ends so using this avoids more colour on them.

Brilliant coverage

From first opening this box and reading how easy the process was I followed the directions and found it super easy. The applicator made it so quick, simple and easy to apply and was mess free.. There was no overpowering smell or discomfort with the product.
Once washed out I was super happy with the coverage and the colour. It looked well blended and all my greys were completely covered.

Simple and quick to use

Rather than having to colour my whole head I can target any lighter patches and the brush and plastic nozzle make it so easy to only get the hair that needs colouring. It covers my roots perfectly, covering all my greys. My one issue would be the cost, it's virtually the same price as a normal home hair dye. For people who have their hair coloured at the salon there is definitely money to be saved though, and that's important.

Covered roots quite well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quite pleased with this - it was easy to set up and use. Quite runny so you have to be careful of drips when you apply. The brush applicator is a bit annoying as you have to squeeze the dye out and brush at the same time. It did cover most of my grey hair and left it a lovely shade of dark blonde which blended my blonde hair into my dark roots nicely.

It was a great colour match and is great at grey coverage. I would recommend if you don't have much hair. But I have a huge head of thick curly hair, so product does not go as far. Bottle is not big enough for my type of hair. It was so easy to use and such great results in such a quick timeframe. I will use again.

The colour was a good match so you didnt end up with a harsh line between root olour and precious colour. I have thick hair so there was only just enough mixture, so if you have tiick hair i would stick to a full bottle of dye

Easy to use, with choice of either brush or nozzle to apply the product. I like that it does not have an odour. It is not too liquidy so it did not run. Some other colours irritate the skin on my forehead, but this one didn't. And the result is great coverage of my very grey roots! Very happy with Magic Retouch!

Super easy to use. The option to use the brush instead of the tip makes the application so much easier. The amount in the bottle was enough to cover all my hair, I do have finer hair so if you have thicker hair this won’t be the case. But the easiest hair colour I’ve ever done! I will definitely buy this again

Was very easy to mix and apply. The coverage was good and I’m happy with the end colour result. The only problem was the smell was overpowering. It made my eyes water and my nose run. I’ve been using home hair dyes for over thirty years, many different brands and never had this happen before.

This is a great, quick, temporary solution for when you don’t have a lot of time to colour your hair. Worked as stated, my hair felt a little dry after using, would be great if there was a conditioning treatment provided for after rinsing. Overall it worked well as a short term fix.

Light brown touch up for grey roots

The application was straightforward and easy to manage. The root coverage was excellent and all greys were covered well. My only negative feedback is that the Light Brown actually came out dark brown leaving my roots dark and rest of hair lighter which wasn’t ideal.

Great touch up in between hair colourings. The applicator bottle made it easy to apply & only needed to leave it on for 10 minutes to 15 minutes. Just the right amount of solution to cover the grey area. Good colour shade which blended in well with my hair colour.

I just have a few greys around my hair line so I covered that and It has excellent coverage. It left my hair feeling soft and manageable. I will definitely be buying this again to cover my few greys.

Easy Task

It’s a great quick and easy little task to do the day before going out when you have run out of time to get to the salon.
It covered ok. My hair is thick could of used 2 packs but it still does a great job covering my greys popping thru in my regrowth.

However, it wasn’t complicated after reading the instructions. I was pleased with the result and the colour has blended in nicely.

Great for in-between

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect item for in-between visits to tha salon or box dying. The colour blended and was tonal therefore avoiding the dreaded obvious dye lines! The application was easy and meant that my bathroom didn't resemble a crime scene afterwards

Pleasantly surprised.

I was pleasantly surprised by Loreals Magic Retouch, I really wasn't expecting it to work. This is going to save me so much time and money. Instead of having to completely colour my hair every two weeks, I can use the Loreal Magic retouch instead.

Great for in- between colouring sessions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was due for a colour soon and used this product for my roots. Very easy to use and colour blends in really well with my light brown hair. Brush applicator blends the colour evenly everywhere and now I can wait a bit longer for my next coulouring.
