True Match True Match Liquid Hydrating Foundation - 0.5N

I have never found a foundation with such a good match to my skin tone! It covered up my acne with no trace of it visible and feels so light on my skin!

The L’Oréal true match foundation in the shade 2N Vanilla was a perfect colour match for my complexion. I thought the formulation complimented my combination skin type. It gave a nice smooth, matte finish. I found it was a nice, light weight foundation that gave me good coverage. I think that it covers my imperfections well and enhances my facial features. I can feel the quality of the foundation when I apply it to my skin. I have been really enjoying using this foundation and will definitely continue to use it, as it works really well with my skin type. I would definitely recommend this foundation to others who have a combination skin type.

Flawless, blendable and natural-looking foundation doesn't leave your skin dry after application. It give a very bright refreshed looking face. the non greasy and lightweight formula allows your skin to breathe while looking spotless at the same time. it comes in a very slim packaging convenient in handbag if touch ups required and easy to pack during travel. I have large pores and the foundation hides that so well that my skin looks radiant and i dont need powder to finish-up. Best thing about this product is that it gives the required UV protection.
In application wise, it is easy to apply using your finger or even a makeup sponge!

After using the previous formulation for 10+ year and I have no choice but to try the new formulation. I question why a serum is mixed with foundation. Serum should be applied underneath the moisturiser and before makeup. Unfortunately by half way through the standard work day, I see oxidation, separation of the foundation, fines lines on my face I have never seen using the previous foundation is showing up and I look oily as the makeup is breaking down from the hydraulic acid. Since my face has not changed from the day before using the previous formula, I can tell its this new one. So sad, but loreal you've made me have to buy foundation from a different brand. After 10+ years, it's like a break up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This foundation comes in a glass bottle with pump lid. There is a wide selection of shades available. No fragrance that I could detect and the texture is serum like, light, creamy and lovely to apply. I chose Porcelain for my light skin (green eyes, fair hair with red undertones) and this colour is fine for the depths of winter but I think I'll also buy a darker shade so that I can mix them for different seasons (I do this with most foundations I buy). I definitely suggest seeking the advice of the L'Oreal beautician to select the perfect colour though! I recommend this foundation for its blendability and the lovely feeling it has on my skin.

I always end up going back to this foundation. The colour choices are great and it's not too expensive as a drugstore product for what I think is really good quality. Its super easy to apply and blend and is very buildable. I find it applies best with fingers or a damp beauty blender. \n\nIt's very light weight on the skin and looks really natural. I would say it's light to medium coverage. It lasts a long time and holds blush, bronzer and highlight really well. I would definitely recommend this foundation, however I do find that it clings to dry skin so it's important to apply a moisturiser or primer if your skin tends to be more dry. \n

I hate choosing foundation! It really daunts me! All the brands, kinds and the hundreds of colours, so I was very skeptical about trying this brand, and 100% sure I'd chosen the wrong colour for me. Well I have to say - I was pleasantly surprised! The 1.5 linen was perfect for me! Love it! Lightweight, buildable coverage, but it still looks like you. When I applied for the first time I asked hubby if I looked different, he said your skin looks nice and smooth, but didn't think I had foundation on, so that was great! My skin didn't dry out and the foundation didn't become patchy or flaky. Very happy, I've really have found my true match!

I must confess that I have used it in the past and while I love the coverage and staying power it has, I can't afford the hefty price tag and small bottle. This foundation I find does the same job yet costs less and the bottle lasts longer. The shades have such a diversity that you are bound to find one that suits you. As I'm in the palest end of the spectrum I normally find that foundations in those shades wipe me out and make me paler than a vampire. True match doesn't, it just evens every thing out while still allowing my skin to breathe and be visible.
