[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The infallible foundation is very lightweight, natural looking and you don't need to use much as stated! However, when I use foundation it's because I want to cover up my skin... the foundation barely covers any imperfections so although it's lovely and lightweight, it doesn't do much of a job other than look like you have foundation on...without the benefits! For my more stubborn areas, I did put more cover on but it still didn't do up to the job that I want a foundation to do.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this foundation unless you have near perfect skin (and then why wear foundation!) as it doesn't cover up but you can see you have foundation on.

I just adore the smell of this foundation, I could smell it on my skin for some time after applying it. I purchased 2 foundations by loreal in the last 2 days, and have to say how happy I am with both. I have written a review on the other one Infallible Matte 24H. However, this foundation has a lovely liquidy silky feel and texture. Beautiful full coverage to my skin and I am 55. The colour vanilla has a wonderful vintage pale but warm look to it! Warm soft tones but not ghostly. I would highly recommend. Easy to apply, stays on the skin with no problem, very smooth satin feel on the skin. I adore the smell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't wear a lot of foundation , because I have never found one which suits me regarding shade or texture,But , Loreal infallible 24hr freshwater foundation is so completely different that I have worn it every day since I got it ! I usually find it difficult to find a shade for my pale skin, The shade was perfect ! The coverage is really amazing , it even hid a small birthmark . The foundation lasted all day shopping and on into dinner in the evening without becoming greasy or fading . The texture is really lovely, so lightweight and comfortable and best of all I need to use such a small amount that it lasts ages ! I love this foundation so much that I would definitely recommend it, Go on, Give it a try..you have absolutely nothing to lose.

I have very oily skin and have looked for years for a good foundation that offers a matte finish without a thick, heavy feel and a good range of shades. THIS IS IT!!! The range offers a couple of "cool" shades which most of the super expensive brands seem to be eliminating (my last experensive brand just discontinued my shade).. This product is a third of the price of some of those I've tried and is 100 times better! It's the only one that offers a good colour match, a matte finish that actually lasts (most others look oily again within 2 hours) and at an incredibly reasonable price; I don't mind paying extra for good products but hey, when you can get this quality at this price, you'd be mad not to try this! Absolutely perfect for combination and oily skin. I'm a loreal convert!

personally, I was expecting more from this foundation because of the price, and especially the brand. I used this for the first time today and my first impression was good. it looks very nice on my skin. but it sets in too quick, which doesn't give you enough time for you to blend it in properly. its also too much of a thick pasty foundation for my liking. I didn't like it so I tried to wash if off, which was hard because it is so difficult to wash off! im really angry at how bad this foundation is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The enclosed leaflet said best used with Studio Secrets Primer but as I didn't have any I used directly on my skin. Not a good idea on this very mature skin of mine. I felt it emphasised my wrinkles. I had chosen 'Natural Rose' as I am a great fan of L'Oreals' Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Re-fortifying day cream and had hoped it would be similar but think I should have gone for a lighter/creamier shade.
I used some Boots No 7 primer I had and the result was a lot better. It went on nice and smoothly and stayed in place all day.
Conclusion - ideal for younger wrinkle free skin especially if you don't have time to 'top up' your makeup during the day. If you are more in my age group definitely use a primer.

It didn't cling to my dry places which I'm very happy about even though I hadn't moisturiser before applying. The foundation didn't seem cakey or feel weighted. I honestly forgot I was wearing it. Will try building up the coverage next time to see if it makes a difference. But loving it so far.

Lasted all day no need to reapply, glided on although I was dubious as seemed thinner consistency. Fab coverage no need to used concealer on break out areas. Would recommend this to others. Non greasy, but for Matt look I did cover with powder as I do have oily skin.

This foundation is the only one I can use. It is the only foundation that I can find that matches my skin tone (porcelain - other brands do not seem to accommodate bright skintones) and it lasts for 16 hours just as it says. It is not heavy on the skin and doesn't blotch easily. It really is infallible.

This foundation is like grease in a bottle. I do not have particularly greasy skin but, after an hour, it looked like I had sprayed grease on my face. It clearly states on the bottle, no transfer, yet it wipes off when you barely touch it. NOT IMPRESSED

Not great on an oily skin like mine, as I have shine within an hour, but blends really well. Doesn't last 16 hours on me but (again) that's possibly because of my oily skin. I have a sensitive skin too and this foundation has not caused any breakouts.

Didnt like this foundation. wore it out and when i came home i was a big shiny mess. Dries really quickly and isnt very easy to blend. it came off on my forehead nose and chin. very patchy and shiny even when used with powder.
