Telescopic Telescopic Lift Mascara Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only reason for 2 stars is because i could not remove no matter what i tried and in the end i left my eyes quite sore. But for the length OMG i could not believe just how long they was and thought I'd found my new favourite mascara but as stated i was let down because this felt like a had superglue on my eyelashes when it came to removing, yet this is not a waterproof mascara so didnt understand why i was having this trouble, the length of eyelashes was fantastic, there was no lumps unlike some mascaras ive used . But although i loved the length i could not use again as think id have no lashes left at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Telescopic Lift Mascara is now one of my favourite go to mascaras. The wand of the mascara has many grooves and curves to it which picks up the perfect amount of product for my lashes. When applying the first layer of product to my lashes, the texture is smooth so applies easily without any lumps and with 1 layer my lashes look lovely and natural with such a natural extension. However when i apply 2/3 coats I get the amazing fake lash extension look which is lovely and gives my eyes a statement look. The product doesn’t dry my lashes out and is easy to remove. I love the overall look it gives my eye lashes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So first off I liked the mascara brush, I much prefer the silicone brushes to the standard bristle wands, so good start. The brush also didn’t load tonnes of mascara onto your lashes, also a bonus from me as I like to build up layers as I need. Lovely rich black and it didn’t flake all day, and I wore with contact lenses as well and it was great. Great definition with this mascara, lovely separation of my lashes and good lengthening. Covered my lashes from root to tip. Removed very easily with micellar water. Overall I’m impressed, do I feel like it gave my lashes amazing length, I’d say it was average on that front, but good on definition and separation so I like it for those reasons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only been able to try this mascara 4 times (the 1st time was a complete disaster!) but after a bit of practice it certainly does what it says on the ‘tin’. Firstly bare in mind I’m 74! On my first attempt I didn’t clean/whip the brush before use so the mascara was very thick and at first I had a bit of difficulty with angle of the main brush and side separating brushes but once I mastered this I got the desired effect.
This new concept of the lifting and lengthening brush and separating brushes on side is excellent. My only slight negative is that the mascara is a bit thick for someone my age.
Please L’Oréal do a thinner version for us ‘oldies’. Great for someone 20+ years younger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mascara comes in sleek, expensive-looking packaging. The brush is flat but when it is turned 90 degrees, it reveals a small comb. It is important that the flat side is applied first as it gives a 'block' of colour to the lashes. When the comb is used, it spreads the colour, dividing the lashes and creating masses of volume. The only downside is that the brush is rather chunky, so it is difficult to coat the small outer and lower lashes. I also found it more difficult to remove than my usual mascara but that is probably due to the amount of mascara that is applied. I would not recommend this mascara for everyday use, but it definitely produces thick dark lashes for that special night out.

The “half brush” confused me slightly when I first opened the mascara however what an impact that makes. The formula is thick & very pigmented so it really makes your lashes look amazing.
Thanks to the half brush you can really load up your lashes & then with the edge of the bristles, you can really separate & define your lashes.
On a separate note, went for a facial & the lady complimented me on my lashes then asked if it was waterproof as it stayed put when she was trying to get it off.
So a long lasting, pigmented mascara which makes your lashes look amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unique brush allows precision application of mascara to my very short lashes with ease without the worry of poking my eye. During application the brush also combs the lashes apart so i save time by not having to grab another brush.
The mascara itself is ok and it not completely waterproof and may clump at times during application but can be easily rectified. Is prone to smudging if you rub your eyes a lot or when your eyes water for whatever reason,but is manageable with tidying up over the course of the day. Longest I wore it was 10hrs and was easy to remove at the end of the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loreal Telescopic Lift Mascara in Black is just the boost my lashes need. I have very few fine lashes, but the mascara gave my lashes that needed oomph! I hate 'spider-leg' lashes, but this mascara made my lashes look soft and fluttery, and also leaves them conditioned because of the ceramides. It's got a double-hooked bristle brush which separates, defines and lengthens which really helps too. The best bit is that after hours of wear, it really doesn't leave me with dark circles under my eyes which I am usually prone to get with other mascaras. So all in all, really great stuff!

I enjoyed the wand with the unique brush. However I felt as though the mascara was very wet, then dried up really hard in my lashes. I found my lashes very hard and not flexible. Amazing for adding length to my lashes, however I found throughout the day because my lashes were long they would smudge on my upper brow and lower eye, also little speckles of mascara would fall onto my face during the day.
To remove the mascara at the end of the day I found I had to use an oil base eye make up remover as my usual drunk elephant make up remover didn’t cut it, and left me with panda eyes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mascara. Consistency was nice there was no clumping at all or stuck together eyelashes. I really loved the wand it is a great shape and size enabling even consistent application coating each lash in a gentle brush like way giving a great lift which lasted . I could use on both my top and bottom lashes, this is quite unusual as i tend to have 2 mascaras on the go as my bottom lashes need a skinner applicator however to get a good lift on my tops i usually would need a thick bushy wand that grabs however this is not the case with this one.
I found it lasted well and was easy to remove
This is a widely available and reasonably priced mascara and i would definately use again and recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mascara definitely does what it says with regard to lift. It seperates the lashes so there's no blobby clumps left and it doesnt flake line some mascaras. This has alot to do with the brush applicator. Its a hard bristle brush with 2 rows on either side of the brush. The instructions say to use front bristles to lift the lashes and the side hook comb to separate. However I did have difficulty determining which was which as they do look the same. Either way the mascara gave a fabulous finish to my lashes. Nice work L'Oréal. When is the waterproof version available? Love this.

This is the best mascara ever - no flake, no smudge, no transfer on upper lid of hooded eyes and it actually does give you length

- Lashes look lengthened.
- I liked the brush wand and individual bristles which helped to divide my lashes.
- Easy to apply, once I got the hang of the double hooked bristle brush.
- Two coats was sufficient to make my lashes look thicker.
- Nice formula.

Cons:
- Took a few goes for me to get used to the double hooked bristle brush.
- Clumps on some of my lashes even though I carefully zigzagged the brush from root to tip.
- Formula isn't great if I wait for the first coat to dry then apply coat two. Second coat applies best when first coat is still wet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The L'Oreal Telescopic Lift mascara comes with an excellent brush which is perfect for my short, fine eyelashes. It performed well on initial application and was able to lift my short, straight lashes into a curl. The formula is smooth and non clumpy and each lash is nicely coated - it doesn't look fake or spidery. A few hours later and there was definitely some smudging apparent on my under eye area. I usually use waterproof mascara and think this is probably the version I would use in this formula. Otherwise, a very good mascara with definitely lifting effect.

I have to be honest it took me two goes to learn how to handle the new brush, its lkke nothing I’ve seen before but also produced results like nothing I’ve seen before! Super long, super lifted thick lashes FROM ONE APPLICATION.

I’m a two application girl, always have been but I don’t even think I could get another coat of this on (nor would I want or need to!)

This mascara gave length and lift whilst lasting over 24hours. I have sensitive eyes and this product did not irritate my eyes at all. I feel the brush handle is a little long and harder to control due to the length. The bottle and amount of product is adequate. The double hook bristle brush is good but not ideal for smaller eyes as the length of brush is decent and was longer than my actual lash line. This caused some lashes to be double applicated causing clumps. The product itself is great and holds well with no smudging present throughout entire wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try this mascara as part of L’Oréal’s tester panel.
I found the unusual shaped applicator brush quite hard to use. The applicator was also fairly clogged with mascara when applying it my lashes, meaning that I tended to smudge it along the lash line.
It did give lift and length to my lashes but I get the same effect with Volume Million Lashes (my favourite L’Oréal mascara) and I much prefer the spoolie type applicator wand with this mascara.
I also left my lashes feeling stiff and it was quite hard to remove even with waterproof eye make remover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The last reviewed items had the time of their lives at London Christmas parties, my mascara had a quieter time! Although New Years resolution is to get back to wearing make up as much as possible, the mascara was easy to apply, not horrible and clumpy, with lots of mascaras I’ve had to brush my lashes after to stop them being thick, this wand is great you can separate your lashes using the side hook.

My lashes looked lovely and full but not stiff, it gave real definition, I like the very natural look, but I’m sure you would be able to build this product up, and I can’t tell you how many mascaras I’ve lost down the back of the radiator when they’ve rolled off the side, this has a flat bottom so you can stand it up and it stays put, nice product.

This mascara is a great formula that I found to go on very easily, does not clump and dries quickly which reduced the chances of smudging. I found the brush really helped get a full lash lift effect making my lashes appear much fuller and longer then without mascara. I did however find the slight bend in the brush made it harder to get into the corners with the right amount of product. The packaging is easy to read and understand and is a good size to fit in your makeup bag. Overall I loved the finished look and would highly recommend.

I loved trialing out this mascara! The brush is really cool, it has hooks which grab onto your lashes to coat all of them and lift them up. It definitely adds length to your lashes as well. I didn't have any clumping which was great. This mascara also has a vegan friendly formula which I love! I do wish there was a waterproof version of this mascara. I did find that after a full day of cleaning (as a professional cleaner) I did have slight smudges on the top and bottom of both my eyes. I would love a waterproof version to be made!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually love your mascaras, but this one just doesn’t do it for me, I’m afraid. The wand just seems fiddly and pokey, making it more difficult to apply than a usual shaped one. I smudged which I never usually do as I was trying to work out the correct way to position against my lashes, and when I got enough on it was clumpy and heavy. However, maybe it’s just me and I need more practice, as other reviews have said the complete opposite. It does have a good, strong colour and saying power: it didn’t smudge easily when dry.

The brush needs a gentle wipe with a tissue before application because otherwise it does clump on the brush. Once you’ve done that however it goes on really well fanning out lashes and really giving them length. It stays put all day (it even survived a horrendous rain storm I found myself out in with the dog) but shifts easy enough with an appropriate cleanser at the end of the day. Basically for me ticks every box and has instantly found its way into my daily make up routine.

I’ve often found with mascaras with plastic wands (as opposed to regular bristles) tend to clump on my lashes but not this one. I don’t know what it is, maybe the shape, but it glides on so well right from the root and really lengthens my lashes with only a couple of coats. No clumping at all and, from someone that ends up with panda eyes no matter what mascara I’m using, I have not had a problem at all since using this. It’s become my new go to mascara and I’ll definitely be repurchasing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've bought a lot of L'Oreal mascaras and tend to prefer the ones with larger brush applicators so was looking forward to trying the new Telescopic Lift. The wand confused me a little as the instructions mention the front and side hook bristles but I found them difficult to make out under the mascara at first. Once I'd worked that out I was very pleased with both the application and results. No smudging or clumping and the wand bristles do a good job at coating, lifting and separating. Easy to layer for fuller effect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pleasure to use and it is so easy to make your lashes look amazing. The brush is really unique and different, it has bristles to apply the mascara and then you use a side hook comb that separates your lashes. The brush is just the right size to enable you to get right to the base of even the smallest lashes and make them look fabulous. The mascara really lifts and makes your lashes look longer and it is a good deep black colour. It also does not clump or smudge - Telescopic Lift is my new favourite mascara.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this as I loved the original telescopic mascara but overall was really disappointed with this.
I found the brush really hard to get on with. I ended up with mascara all over my eyelid and under eye, without much coating or staying on my lashes for some reason.
It took so much effort to get my lashes looking lifted, or adding volume or length. I got there in the end, but took so much time and cleaning up. I tried several days to get on with it, but unfortunately not one i will be repurchasing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m one of the few who didn’t love the original Telescopic, the holy grail of mascara of many beauty influencers. So was sceptical when I saw this new one, but I’m a mascara junkie so had to try it. For me, this one is so much better. The formula isn’t too wet and dries fast (but not so fast you can’t work on one coat on both eyes before applying the second coat). It doesn’t have a strong odour. The black formula makes my lashes nice and long. I found it didn’t smudge or flake throughout the day (although Summer wear would be a better test). I have sensitive eyes but found this was fine with mine too. My lashes do not hold a curl at all (less I’ve had a lash lift which I haven’t for a few months), so can’t comment on that. Overall this is so much better than the original!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love trying out a new mascara especially one with a quirky design so I was really excited to trial this. Sadly it’s really not for me. I followed the instructions of using the flat area of the wand to apply the mascara and then using the side brush to brush it through the lashes but the product is so thin and liquid like I was just making a huge mess. I think if the product was drier it would maybe work better. I ended up using one of my older wands to brush through and it did give lovely big lashes.

I found that using the front of the brush doesn’t seem to apply properly without getting it all over my eyes. It didn’t lift my lashes, which are straight. I also found that it dried and was very bitty, which after a few hours looked untidy.
However, I had LVL done, and when using the side part of the brush to separate the lashes, it loaded the lashes with product which looked like spider eyes. L’Oréal doesn’t seem to develop mascaras which please me.

I’ve got naturally quite long lashes so normally go for a volume mascara and sadly didn’t get quite the result I wanted from this. It gives a good amount of length though so if that’s what you’re after then I really recommend. It did give a bit of lift, but I noticed the effect didn’t last that great throughout the day so they had drooped by the time I removed my makeup. Would give it a go if you want extra long eyelashes!
