Never use anything so bad

I never use any product that I would bin it straight away. I never have issue with any other primer with my armani power fabric+ foundation. I got this l'oreal primer from Coles when it was on sale last week. I use it yesterday and my foundation just become patches that stuck together on my face. Thinking I didn't rub it out properly, so I try it again and make sure I put it on very carefully, it still mess up my foundation！！！！it's now in the bin.

Exactly as described

I do really like this primer, a little goes a long way, the texture is very silky and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tacky. My skin absorbs this so easily, it definitely felt as though my makeup was more solid throughout the day. I work under blistering lights and always moving around so having makeup that doesn’t budge is important. Over time my skin does seem brighter, pores slightly blurred which is great to see as that is a concern sometimes. The only thing I don’t like is the smell, it smells like chemicals until you massage it in, then it kind of smells like flowers. I’d also love if it had spf, that should be something all primers should have.

Gentle and effective primer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loreal Prime Lab Advanced Derm Primer is great when you have rough orange peel type skin or open pores. I tend to have open pores on my nose, so I tried it on there and the primer does give a blurry effect so that your make-up goes on smoother and the illusory effect of smooth skin is enhanced. It also helps the make up to 'hold' to the skin better, making your foundation last longer. However, the effect is only temporary. If you want your pores to really be minimised, then the AHA, LHA and BHA needs to be given time to work....around three weeks.
I thought this product was good because products with AHA can be quite drying for sensitive skin, but I was absolutely fine with this.

Not a miracle worker but pretty good!

LOVE the overall look of the product! It's cute and is the perfect size to fit into your everyday makeup bag. I was hesitant on this product as there are so many out there but I was really surprised with the outcome. I have large pores on my nose and chin and with a small amount they were noticeable blurred. The product itself felt silky and went on really smooth. It didn't affect my foundation coverage at all and even extended the length my foundation stayed on my nose area. I also have an old lip piercing hole that I used this product on, it worked okay but I wasn't expecting much. This product is a game changer if you have large pores, I will be using it everytime I wear makeup. I give this product 8/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a primer before as I don't wear foundation unless I'm working or going somewhere special. I prefer a natural look since reaching my late sixties. My first impression was how creamy and light the texture of this product was, secondly how quickly it dried on my skin. I applied to just one side of my face to see what difference it would make. I then asked my husband on which side he thought I'd applied it. He chose the wrong side initially because he thought it was on the shiniest looking side. He was very impressed, as was I, in the light, matte coverage it gave to my face. I have since worn it alone as it definitely covers my sun damaged areas without the need to wear a heavy foundation.

Prime lab primer pore refining

When using the product it has a lovely delicate fragrance which isn't to harsh for the skin as well as the texture is lovely creamy but very light. When applied onto my skin it is very fast absorbing and doesn't leave any greasy residue which i love. Once dried i have a smooth canvas skin to work on and this helps my makeup get the best results and spread on smoothly. My pores are also reduced and hidden with this primer which makes it even better i would definitely recommend and purchase this product again.

Really impressed

I normally hate wearing foundation due to sensory issues but decided to try this after reading great reviews. I’m seriously impressed with the texture and weightless feeling on my skin and it did a great job of smoothing out my skin in preparation for foundation and resulted in beautiful (for me) skin for Christmas Day photos with my family even though it was hot and humid. I also used a fixing spray to set it so that probably helped.

Promises a lot - delivers a little.

I got this product because I needed a new primer. It looked promising, so - my 1 star is for the good marketing techniques that L’Oréal has done.
The primer feels lovely on the skin and looks great for about 5 or so minutes- provided you don’t put anything else on as well.
This product does not make your makeup last longer - it makes your make up look terrible. It clumps your makeup and make it looks cakey.
The promise of no pilling is false. I didn’t even rub at my face and pilling was present. I didn’t t apply a lot of product either.
The pore minimising and blurring effect seems to be true. If you can overlook the way it makes your makeup look and the pilling- this product is for you.. or the bin.
I wouldn’t buy this again.

Moisturising and Perfect Makeup Prep

This primer is the perfect thickness and felt really moisturing when putting on. I only needed a small amount of product to cover my face and instantly could see my pores becoming less noticeable as well as some redness around my nose and chin minimised. It went on really smoothly and dried quick which meant I could start putting on my make up immediately without losing too much time. My make up when on easily and did not cake in any areas or wear off easily. This is a great product that will become part of my everyday routine. Highly recommend.

I have only trialed this product several times but so far I am quite happy with it! I can't yet comment on the resurfacing but it does blur pores perfectly! It's a really nice consistency primer and blurs your face for perfect foundation application! After a full day of work I will say that I could have done with a touch up as my face was quite shiny but overall I am happy with this product. It would be great if they could add some sunscreen to it as the formula to resurface skin can make your skin more prone to sun damage.

Top tier product!

This is amazing for blueing pore and small fine lines!
I applied this after my moisturiser, I focused on my nose, chin, cheeks, chin, and fine small lines around my eyes. This product didn’t ball up when applying, my foundation didn’t separate or go flakey.
After wearing this for 12 hours my make up was still sitting nice, pore starting to show a little, however my makeup was still there and didn’t slide off my oily T-zone.
I have tired a lot of top tier pore primers, and this is now one I am reaching for the most.

Not sure if it’s meant too but it helps matte my oily skin too, so not only does it minimises pores and help keep my make up in place for longer it really helps too if like me you have oil prone skin. I feel my skin looks so much healthier after applying this product. Perfect primer for flawless skin!!!

Absolutely LOVE the overall look of the Prime Lab 24h Pore Minimizer Primer! I’ve been using the product for over 2 weeks and extremely impressed by the formula. My skin is currently quite dry being in winter and this primer blurs pores and makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated.
I found the product worked well under my foundation. I also appreciate the ingredients packed in this product to help assist with the overall skin appearance.
I loved that the primer tube is the perfect size to fit into your makeup bag. You only need a small amount of primer to cover the area!
Overall, this primer makes my skin look flawless and blurs out my pores. I would recommend this product for anyone wanting flawless, blurred look and wanting to extend their makeup throughout the day.

Perfect primer

I wear a very thin foundation and find if I don't use primer, it accentuates my pores and dry skin. This primer was perfect. It was easy to apply and didn't feel heavy. My makeup looked flawless on top, my pores were almost invisible and it made my skin look perfectly even. It also made the foundation stay on a lot longer than it ususally does.
I have very sensitive skin, so I am always cautious of new products. This didn't cause any adverse reaction. I highly recommend this product.

Improves appearance of my skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This definitely improves the appearance of my skin. It has a silky smooth texture, almost like a liquid talc is the best way I can describe it. I have combination skin and a darker skin tone so in some ways I think it might be more suitable for an oily skin base/fairer complexion as it seems to give a slightly rosy pink appearance, having said that it does seem to enhance a natural healthy glow when worn alone. Long lasting and certainly improves the appearance and longevity of my make up.

This 24 hour matte primer from L'Oreal really surprised me. It's one of the better primers that I've tried. It definitely has a great grip on it. It mattifies beautifully! It feels slightly sticky, but I believe that's just the grip on it. My makeup lasted all day and half the night using this primer. I love that it has LHA and salicylic acid in it making it a skincare product as well. I would definitely recommend this to anybody with combo or oily skin because it works really well.

Newbie to primers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this 24HR Pore Minimiser Primer as part of L’Oreal’s tester panel.
I’ve never used a primer before so was intrigued to how it would leave my skin feeling and looking.
The first couple of times I used it it made my skin feel a little bit irritated and red looking.
It goes on easily and doesn’t make my skin feel tacky. It does seem to smooth out some larger pores I have. Will have to continue to use it to see if it does minimise my pores more and improve my skin texture.

Decent makeup base

Pretty satisfied with this product! It’s a decent dupe for other silicone-based pore minimising primers. The pore blurring effect isn’t as effective but is comfortable to use as it doesn’t feel as heavy and didn’t break me out. Not entirely sure if it’s because of the skincare ingredients in the primer, but the area around my nose does feel smoother and less congested. Prolongs the length of makeup wear, and kept the shine at bay for longer than if I were just to use powder.

Surprisingly good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used primers before and regretted it. I’m not a heavy make up user and therefore don’t layer as much as some people do. I only use one thin layer of foundation as my skin is very good apart from blackhead/pores.
This product feels lovely on the skin and I’ve used it without foundation too. I put it on half of my face, and by eye it didn’t look too dramatic, however in the photos you can see the difference. I just feel a slight tingle when I apply it.

It’s a nice consistency feels almost cream like. Some other primers I’ve used before leave my skin dry, whereas this gives great coverage and feels like it’s moisturising.
Great base to apply make up to. Foundation went on nice and smoothly. It did help retain my make up for longer too.

Not for mature skin

Bought this based on the hype that it covers pores etc with no pilling. I applied my normal morning moisturizer, let it sink in for half hour. Applied the primer, so far so good, covered some fine lines and smaller pores, again let it sit for 10 minutes whilst i did my hair. Applied my usual Clarins re-boost tinted cream over the top and it literally was clumping and smudging all over the place. Wiped it off, threw it straight in the bin.

I loved the feel of this primer. I definitely noticed the reduction of pores and fine lines upon application. It had good wear length under makeup on all areas of my face except for my nose which appears to be the oiliest part of my face. On the road to airbrushed

The cream comes out almost like a putty but glides on to the skin and disappears. I found that it really helped with the large pores I have around my nose when applying foundation. It was almost like it filled in the gaps or smoothed the surface.
My foundation sat nicer in those areas after application. I did notice a change in my skin after the month using it and will keep using it to see if results will continue.

Unexpected favourite!

I usually opt for a primer that can double as a moisturiser (or no primer at all!) but I’m so impressed with this product! Previous pore filling primers haven’t mixed well with my foundations but this one does actually smooth out my skin AND helps my makeup last all day! The photo I’ve uploaded was taken after an 8 hour work day and my base still looks flawless, definitely recommend and would repurchase!

Such a great primer!

I found this primer to be a great product. It is very light and comfortable on my skin and sits really well under your make up with no pilling. I think it does help allow my make-up to last longer although that is difficult to be sure as I don't wear heavy foundation usually. I believe it does slightly alter your pores and gives you a clean overall look to your skin. Would definitely recommend to others!

Perfect Pore Minimiser Primer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using this primer and is a must try! It's easy to apply and absorbs into the skin really well. A little of this magic primer goes a long way. I used this on my t-zone and my skin felt hydrated and the appearance of my pores minimised and blurred. The great thing about this primer is it sits beautifully by itself or makes my foundation appear smoother and last longer. I would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for those with problematic skin. I wasn’t convinced by the blurb but it really does help blur pores and uneven skin. It’s also quite nourishing and contains AHA + LHA + BHA complex. It also dries quickly and is not too heavy on your skin. It also sits well under you makeup but you may want to use a fixing spray to keep your make up for long as it’s not as tacky as other primers.

My favourite primer

I bought this primer not long agpo and it is the best primer I've ever tried. My previous experience with pore-reducing primers is that they can feel heavy or strange on he skin and cause makeup to separate. This primer does not do that and completely smoothes and fills in skin, making foundation sit on top of it beautifully. 10/10 recommend, will be repurchasing x

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very pronounced pores on my nose and cheek, so I was excited to try this. On the first day my face looked a bit grey but my pores seemed much less obvious. I tried again the next day and used much less and the colour of my skin wasn't affected, but my pores were still less obvious. It's one of those cases of less is more when it comes to applying this.

I do have large pore across my nose and a few over chin and cheeks
Goes on skin smoothly but not alot of differencr noticed.
packaging ok nothing outstanding or eye catching .
no fragrence notice .
I have very sensitive skin and this product was fine on my skin.

Great primer

It manages to blur pores and make skin look smooth without being thick or cakey. It has a strong scent but it’s a really nice one and the texture is barely noticeable once it’s on the skin. Only downside is the packaging not having tactile markers to help users with vision loss.

That feeling lasts a second on 2 and then is smooths and dries perfectly. It leaves my skin feel hydrated and completely minimises the appearance of my pores. My foundation glides on perfectly over it. Really cant fault it and would highly recommend.

Smooth, flawless skin!

This, however, was a pleasant surprise. Skin felt soft and smooth, and pores definitely seemed less visible, which was very pleasing! Effective primer

I used this primer before applying my serum and foundation and it did seem to make the foundation last longer. It also reduced my pore size and my skin got less oily during the day. I like that it has AHA + LHA + BHA so it actually improves the appearance of your skin over time rather than temporarily. I would recommend this product to others.

Flawless make up

The L’Oreal Paris 24H pore minimizer primer made my skin feel so soft and smooth.
I really felt like my pores were instantly minimized and my makeup sat on my skin a lot nice than usual as well.
The only thing I didn’t like is you have to wait for the primer to completely absorb before applying your make up otherwise it won’t sit properly.

I used it every morning before putting my make up. Nice texture, almost without smell. Absorbed very fast without sticky feelings. Make up laying nice and easy. Stayed all day without any problems. Easy removed with normal face washing products.
