Magic Retouch Magic Retouch Blonde with Dark Roots – Medium to Dark Blonde

I bought this to touch up my caramel coloured hair & the product " medium to dark blonde" jasy roots darker than they already were..pretty hard going considering I'm naturally a brunette. What an utter waste of money.
How this comes under blonde I don't know. It's a mid Brown colour. As I've opened the seal I'm unable to get a refund for a totally useless product.

so many things to say about loreal Paris magic retouch (brown) so first off i have light blond hair which i had dyed brown and used this product to touch up where i had regrowth well it does cover the regrowth but so many things wrong like how my hair gets sticky and also leaves it greasy it builds up on my scalp and my hands are covered and i had to use some bicarb to help get some of the colour off my hands but there is still some leftovers its not comfortable on my head left some stains on my sheets i wouldn't buy this product because its not great and also expensive but it is very easy to use and lasts a while that's about all that is positive about this product. i do not recommend loreal Paris magic root touch up.

I think the colour quality of this spray is good, thick and natural looking.
I was however, disappointed that I usually get overspray, which is nearly impossible not to do with the side of face area.
When you are using dark colours, the overspray is very noticeable and annoying having to clean up the mess made.
I've also noticed some colour transfer to my hands if I happen to touch the areas I have sprayed, even up to a day later.
On the plus side, this colour coverage lasted me for 3-4 days, which I think is amazing.
I would love to see L'oreal find a way to make the spray more adjustable for different areas or come up with a way to address the overspray. Perhaps it can be combined with a mascara wand type of retouch product.

Doesn’t work, made my hair yellow ( used the blonde colour) And left a nasty straw like residue on my hair. Wish I could return and get my $$ back. Please don’t bother with this product.

This product claims to cover greys and dry quickly - it does neither of those things. My grey hairs are sparse, but it did not cover anything at all; I could still see them coming through and the blend was not seamless at all. I sprayed my greys at around 7:30am this morning; it's now 10:29am and every time I touch my hair it keeps coming off on my fingers.

I was excited to try this product, but was very disappointed with the results. First spray I ended up with a very big and very obvious dark circle which I had to clean off which was messy. after that I mainly managed lighter sprays but the colour difference between my brown hair and the brown spray was really obvious.

This would suit extremely dark brown to almost black hair, not mid or lighter browns.

Also wouldn’t recommend having light coloured pillow cases as it left some discolouration.

I was so excited to try this product only discover it is extremely messy and gets all over your hands when you touch your hair. The advert says that it drys quickly and doesn't get on your hands - it gets all over your hands and does not dry completely at all.

TikTok made me buy it because I thought this would be a great way to find out if red hair would suit me. First, it's probably great for roots only, but it leaves your hair feeling very dry and stiff.
I washed it out in less than 24 hours. That was 3 days ago. I am still ginger.
I've washed my hair 8 times since, and no amount of oils, shampoos or body wash has been able to get it out of my hair. The best part is that it washed out of my ends but stayed in my roots so now I'm half blonde half ginger. I've seen many people complain online and apparently, the only thing that gets it out is dish soap. Considering I don't want my already dry hair to fall off I just have to accept my new half ginger identity now. I'm supposed to start a new job in 3 days. Don't buy this. Save yourself.

I’ve purchased this a few times now and have been happy each time - I use it to darken the baby hairs around my hairline where it’s thinning, and I’m (im)patiently waiting for my hair to grow thicker in around my temples after years of tight hairstyles and pregnancy hormones. It is very sticky, so I don’t think I’d ever use it to cover large areas of greys or thinning hair, but for small patches it does the job well.

While this product does mostly cover grey hair, it leaves the most awful sticky stiff You are left with the most awful residue which feels like half a can of hair lacquer has been applied to the sprayed area, which really is absolutely awful. It is a great pity as it does cover grey hair regrowth very well, but it is the horrible sticky, stiff lacquer feeling you are left with which spoils it.

L’Oréal has really come up with a genius product for those moments you need a touch up but haven’t had the chance to colour your hair. The magic retouch spray was the perfect product I absolutely now can’t live without. It’s easy to use, spray within seconds and no one is the wiser to my white hairs. I love that it gives the confidence I need and can be carried with me on the go.

I tried L'Oreal Magic retouch temporary root concealer twice last week. The first time the colour came off really easily and I wasn't happy. The second time, let it fan dry and got a much better result. While I did enjoy the convivence of the spray can, I was conscious all day that I might run the colour if I touched my hair. A good product but I wouldn't give it 5 stars.

I used it on the area of my hair near the temple region where my grey hairs show up first. It covered them well and was so easy to use. The colour was a good match to my natural hair colour. The only negative was that it was hard to remove at the end of the day. I had to use a cotton ball soaked with makeup remover and that left a greasy residue on my head.

I have been using Brown instant root concealer spray for years. I used the spray just before heading out the door and the contents ran out like liquid and fell onto my dress. Now I have a brown stain on my dress any help to remove it I would appreciate it. It is the first time that this has happened to me in all the years I have been using this product.

Love this product. I'm currently pregnant and don't like colouring my hair a lot. I use dark brown. It's brilliant when I'm so busy I don't have time to colour my own hair. I always make sure I have one somewhere in the house. I also love that it's small but holds a lot of colour. Perfect size for my small handbag.

I thought it good when I first used it as covered the grey successfully but I felt it dried my hair out and once washed had to use it again.it’s Ok for touch up if going somewhere special but not suitable to use each week as you’d go through too many cans of them. I appreciate the opportunity to try it.

i just used it yesterday. I did applied and all my root was dry.. I can even comb. So i took a shower. still my roots are so dry. It doesn't give a color either. Just waste of time and money. Highly not recommended to buy. I will post in my social media for people not to buy as well.

I bought this 2 days ago to spray my whole hair, which is a bit weird, but i just wanted to see what my hair would look like before I dyed it dark brown. I love this product because it didn't stain my hair like most color hairsprays, and when I washed it out, it came out so easily.

I have been buying this for the past 3 months. It’s a great saver when I can’t get to the hair dressers to have my colour done. It ties me over till then. Great product. I use Brown and have Grey roots. It matches up with my colour change wonderfully.

This concealer works well as a temporary but reliable fix to emerging roots. It did get on my fingers as I was applying it, but it was relatively easy to wash off my hands. It also came off after a hair wash. All in all I would purchase this again.

This is a great product and I bought the golden brown which completely covers and conceals the regrowth. I feel confident that my hair looks presentable even though I need a cut and colour, and it is saving me money by reducing my hair appointments every year. The spray nozzle is tiny but very efficient, and of course it takes a bit of practice to apply it. Don’t get upset if it’s not perfect the first couple of times you use it. You will love it after a few uses. Yes, it does have a slight stickiness to it, but this is barely noticeable after a few minutes. Common sense must prevail here, and this product is designed to adhere to hair and not be just dust! If it gets on my skin or forehead, I use a facial make up wipe to remove it. A bit of perseverance and positivity is all you need to use this product when you want to go out and have your hair looking fresh and young. The product does everything it says on the label “ temporary grey coverage lasts until shampooed out“. Well done L’ORÉAL and I wish they had this on the market years ago.

i bought this product hoping it would help last a little longer between hair appointments and it did not work at all. it claims to work on dark roots i would say mine is dark blonde and it made not change other than turning my highlights yellow

This product whilst did cover my greys temporarily did cause my hair to feel quite crunchy where sprayed on. When I changed my hair colour it became quite an impractical product for me as the colour range was too limited for a seamless blend

This is ok between colour, but if your grey and want to cover while you grow out, don’t use it! It stains you hair and is impossible to remove , also even after washing, my hair feels dirty where I have used the spray. Absolute rubbish !

I thought this product is great idea, it colours grey well, but makes hair have sticky residue, I found its spray erratic and splatters doing greys around forhead and is hard to get off, needs finer spray. It left stains on my pillow.

Really easy to use, super convenient- comes with glove. Quick to use. It’s not something I would have purchased but now I have used it I would definitely again. My hair dresser is going on maternity leave so perfect timing to try it

I bought it a month ago when I got blonde face framing on my naturally brunette hair. As the hair is growing out I am using the brunette root touch up to blend in my natural roots with the blonde and it looks great and very natural.
