Excellence Cool Crème Permanent Hair Colour - 4.11 Ultra Ash Brown

Very disappointing colour, not a cool ash brown at all. Have been using 3.11 for several years and very happy with colour and tone; a true cool ash brown. This new packaged range is a poor option, 4.11 is amber and a lightbrown, it is not a cool ash brown at all. The new formula does not have the same coverage, it did not cover grey hair, only an amber tint. Will not be purchasing this range going forward,

I often find that brown dyes fade into a reddish tint after a while and I really don’t like this effect. However, this is a genuinely cool toned colour and the addition of the purple products is really useful. It left my hair in good condition however the fragrance was not the best. The shampoo included definitely helped with removing the fragrance.

My hair has some gold-ish undertones and so I always use 'ash' shades to try and reduce these. This hair dye did not disappoint in giving me a really earthy and rich colour, without any hint of red tones. It's really easy to apply and left me with super soft and lovely brown hair.

The addition of a purple shampoo and conditioner is a brilliant idea and helps to reduce the normal brassiness of newly coloured hair. The conditioner smells lovely and leaves the hair feeling soft and shiny. The colour is gorgeous with no red undertones. Highly recommended

I've just put in the Excellence Cool Creme in 4.11 Ultra Ash Brown and my hair feels healthy and is super shiny. My favourite part is the Purple Shampoo and Conditioner provided in the box to help keep my hair looking its best between colours and to keep away any brassiness. Better than any salon.

It’s really nice to apply, smells wonderful, and I loved the hair mask. At the moment the colour is holding up really well and if it continues to, it will be my new favourite. Love how healthy and soft my hair is.

It's true to it's claim of not leaving any brassiness and it has worked wonders at covering my greys although there were a just a few to test this on.

Don't forget to do your patch test before using, it literally took me seconds :)

This is the only dye I don’t react to, and I believe it’s due to the PH shampoo included, I think it must neutralise the oxidation process or something. This is the only dye I’ve found in 20+ years that doesn’t make my head itch like mad and feel sore. I wish I could buy gallons of the shampoo just in case it’s ever discontinued!

They give a really vivid shiny result and seem to be not so harsh on my hair and leaves my hair in decent condition. I'm so glad they finally brought out a range of cool tone dyes because that's the tone i have to go for with my skin tone, I would buy these again and again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually love the L’Oréal har colours but unfortunately I do not like the ultra ash brown colour. I have dark brown hair which is now a dull black and not a good look at all for me. The condition of my hair is good after the colour application but the colour does not suit me or my skin tone so a bit disappointed with this one.

I kept the product on for 20mins and all those pesky grey hairs are covered. The shampoo and conditioner are very good, still have enough shampoo left for another application and the conditoner a few applications left with that too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hair dye is great. Its very easy to apply and went on really evenly. The conditioner is always good and left my hair feeling really cared for. Soft and very shiny.
It covered my greys well but i did leave the mixture on a bit longer just to be sure.
Its managing to keep its colour after a few washes too.

Having tried many hair colour ranges, this is one of the best in terms of grey coverage and really great at covering any brassiness. I love that it includes a purple shampoo and hair mask. Really recommend on tired hair as it conditions it so well. I am left with soft, manageable hair that feels brand new!

There is a great mix of products in the pack that provides care for not only my hair but also for the colour and scalp. Altogether, the process is easy and I am happy with the coverage and quality.

May need two boxes if doing longer than shoulder length hair, as doesnt go a long way.
Someone need to bring out a product especially for longer hair saves buying two boxes of dye.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This colour is an easy product to mix and use. The post colour shampoo they give you is lovely. It makes the hair feel smooth. The purple mask is great can’t comment on the anti brass side of things until I have it on for a few weeks. Hopefully it will do what it says on the box. We’ll see

The additional shampoo and conditioner are a great touch and a good way of making the longevity of the dye last longer. My grey hairs have been completely covered. I’m so happy with the result I’ll definitely try it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this doesn’t come with a vile hair dye sort of smell that fills a room and lingers, it has a delicate nice scent. It took to my hair well, I’m currently pregnant and have found that dyes are not taking too well but this has. It’s added a lovely sheen to my hair.

I have other colours that i prefer a bit more but overall this product was nice and it made my hair feel soft and shiny. I prefer a slightly darker brown normally but im glad i tried. The purple technology in this hair dye is a great concept to reduce that annoying red tint and leave a natural looking, ash brown. The colour left is vibrant but natural, I’m recommending it to everyone.

There was a very quick colour change from moments after I put it on and it was quick and easy to use. I do find that it runs a lot whenever I wash my hair but I expected that.

My hair feels in excellent condition after using it. The purple shampoo and treatment are great for neutralising the orangey tones.
