I apply a little to each section of my scalp, massage it in, and let it sit for about 15 minutes before showering. It feels so potent and powerful that I only need a small amount. I am careful not to let it drip onto my fine/dry hairs, and the nozzle makes it very easy to control how much I apply. It gently exfoliates and preps my scalp beautifully, really boosting the effectiveness of the shampoo. The oiliness of my scalp has been kept under control since Ive started using this serum. It feels like a proper salon-style scalp treatment at home!

Having coloured hair, my ends are generally dry. I would wash my hair every 2 days but after using these 3 products together I can definitely extend my hair washing days.
At first I was unsure how to use the serum as the bottle I received was in a different language. Initially I applied it to wet hair not knowing but having googled the instructions it is meant to be on dry hair to gently exfoliate the scalp. The pointed nozzle makes it much easier to apply to the roots. It also gives off a refreshing feeling on the scalp as well.

My scalp usually gets oily quite quickly, and I typically have to wash my hair every day — but after using this, I was able to go two full days (and a bit!) between washes, which is a big improvement for me.

Mostly just dry no matter what I tried. Using this scalp serum before I wash my hair felt very soothing. I rubbed it in gently all over my scalp. I washed and conditioned with L’Oréal Paris Elvive shampoo and conditioner. My hair felt so clean and fresh. It's smells lovely too. After conditioning, my hair felt soft and light. No heaviness. Clean shiny hair and no itchy scalp. I'm so happy to have this product to relieve my dry scalp, without leaving any residue. Highly recommend for all hair types.

Since using the Hyaluron pure oil erasing scalp serum before each wash I’ve noticed my hair feels like it’s had a deeper clean without stripping the rest of my hair. My hair felt clean and didn’t have the quick oil residue that usually appears day two after washing. The smell was pleasant and I could feel the coolness of the menthol on my scalp without it burning or being too harsh! I have previously used similar products that made my scalp itchy, which I did not experience with this!
I didn't need to use a lot at all.. the first time I used it I used more because I've used a lot of clarifying shampoos and scalp care products where I've needed a lot to cover the area, but it dispersed onto my scalp really easily with just my hands massaging it in a bit!

As someone who produces regular excess oil in my hair this is a great product and after using it I was very impressed. I like the packaging and the nozzle assisted with applying it only to my necessary areas. I think it smells great and performs very well. Its left my hair feel like it's just been washed and kept my excess oil at bay for 2 days straight. Usually I am someone who can wash their hair and the following morning it feels greasy and for some reason when I cut my hair shorter I produce even more oils so it usually looks greasy and unwashed despite being clean. I really love this product and will continue to use it.

I don’t actually have very oily hair and wash my hair twice a week just to freshen up the style, but using this has allowed me to get longer between washes as the roots done build up oil, I can get 7 days between wash days using this. Another benefit is that it smells lovely and works really well well with the matching shampoo and conditioner. The con is that it takes time and is an extra step before you get in the shower. I don’t like spending long on my hair, so to be honest, I can’t be bothered making the time to use this when the shampoo and conditioner alone does nearly as good a job.

The scent is fresh and clean, which I really enjoy. After just one use, my roots felt so much lighter and refreshed. I also noticed less dandruff and irritation on my scalp. One of the biggest differences is that I now need less shampoo to get my hair clean. This serum really helps break down oil and buildup before I even step into the shower. My hair was light and glossy after using this and looked great the day of the wash. It also helped my scalp smooth out and definitley helped a bit with the dead skin there.

However, it claims to help with oil control up to 72 hours, and this is where I found it lacking. I normally was my hair every 72 hours and its looking a bit greasy at 48 hours but passable. With this I only survived one day before it started looking greasy and at 48 hours it was a mess. Not for me unfortunately

The bottle and nozzle were so easy to use, I had total control of how much I used and where I used it. I massed it into the oily areas, it smelt lovely but not too overpowering.
Left it in for about 10 - 15 minutes. I then jumped into the shower, washed and conditioned my hair, that was 4 days ago and my scalp is not oily and still feels clean. Will definitely buy this serum again, although it wont be for a long time because a little goes a long way

It’s very light and easy to distribute because of the nozzle. It smells nice and takes just 10 minutes before washing off.
It makes my scalp feeling super clean but without drying it off.
I have long hair with oily scalp and dry ends. And this line suits my needs perfectly.
My hair feels light, bouncy and clear for 3 days, which is surprisingly long period between washes (I normally wash it every other day).
I will keep using it and definitely repurchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We all exfoliate our skin but do not very often think about our scalps! I am a regular gym goer and my poor scalp and hair suffer considerably. When you sweat a lot (as I do) and have your hair tied back and a limited time to shower, shampoo and condition your hair it really does take its toll on your hair and scalp. I didnt realise just how much until I got the opportunity to try this. Clearly marked out and measured on the side it is easy to apply and massage into the scalp but you do have to leave it in for 15 mins so not something I do at the gym but at home as a treat and pamper. There is no real scent and no nasty sensations but my scalp certainly feels 'cleansed' after use.

I was a bit reluctant to try it at first because it seemed so strange to add oil to my hair when I wanted to reduce oiliness! The product has a narrow tip which makes it easy to apply to your roots. Now I’ve tried L’Oréal Paris Elvive Hyaluron Pure Oil Erasing Scalp Serum.
I massage through out scalp on slightly damp hair. It does feel nourishing, exfoliating, gentle.

Then I rinsed out and shampooed, Massaging scalp gently again as the scalp serum has removed dead skin cells. Rinse thoroughly, then condition as usual.
I loved the product, it suits my needs. As my scalp is sensitive.

I did again a week later and now I’ve got the L’Oréal Scalp Serum there as a great addition for my hair care.

I have dense and coarse hair so I struggle with wash and dry days in that it takes so dang long im always inclined to stretch it out so products that really clean my scalp in between are much needed.

I've never tried a hair serum before but it was so easy to use and the results were amazing. You need to apply it to dry hair, 10 minutes before you hop into the shower. So I just applied it while I was on my computer, set a timer and then that was my call to have a shower. It felt cool and nourishing on my scalp, and smelt amazing! It washed out easily and my scalp and hair felt super clean, with no stripping. I love that it's formulated with skincare ingredients such as salicylic acid, as my scalp deserves pampering too! Massage into the root area, leave 15mins then rinse out before shampooing. I have dry, coloured hair and normally only shampoo it every 4 days, and by then the roots are quite oily, making it harder to get a great first wash.
