Elvive Bond Repair Shampoo 200ml

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because this brand new shampoo is sulphate free, I was expecting a stripped back shampoo. But no, its beautiful. Its thick, lucious and has a fragrance like perfume. It feels nice to apply and the lather it provides is also luxurious. You just know its doing good things for your hair. My hair is natually frizzy and wavy and unruly. I dye it and straighten it, so I really punish my hair. But this shampoo feels like I'm rewarding my hair. It does everything I need it to. It makes my hair feel really clean, moisturised and once straightened, very smooth any shiny. And , the fragrance is beautiful and long- lasting. It's more expensive than some shampoos. But its worth it !!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was invited to try this shampoo, along with the matching conditioner, but unfortunately, it was lost in the post. As I love L'Oreal products, I decided to take advantage of a well-known store's 3for2 offer and buy both products.
As with all L'Oreal hair products, I was more than happy with the results. As usual, my hair appeared smooth, shiny and healthy. However, this range is quite a bit more expensive and I did not feel that it performed any better than the cheaper ones, which is why I only awarded 4 stars. It's still an excellent shampoo but I could not justify the price difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the years I've put my hair under a lot of stress, from bleaching, dying and styling so unfortunately I suffer with a lot of breakage, dryness and overall damage. Because of this, I look for products that can help strengthen my hair as well as keeping it clean. I have only been using this shampoo for a short amount of time so I can't really say whether it has strengthened my hair but it has definitely left my hair feeling shinier and more hydrated. My hair feels incredibly smooth and silky and there was slightly less hair fallout during my most recent washing process but like a lot of good things, only time will tell. So far I'm thoroughly enjoying the benefits of the silky softness of my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo seemed to be very gentle on my hair and scalp, however, I accidently got some on my cheek and I let it sit there for a moment whilst I washed my hair, and for some reason it stung my cheek. Perhaps an ingredient in the shampoo was reacting with a product that was on my face? It was very strange as I've not had this reaction from a L'Oreal shampoo before. My hair has definitely felt stronger and hydrated from using this shampoo, even without conditioner, but unfortunately I don't think I'll try this product again once it's empty due to the aforementioned stinging on my face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dry, fine hair which is damaged and brittle due to bleaching, colouring and heat styling, this gorgeously scented sulphate free shampoo worked wonders from the very first wash! Only a small amount of shampoo is required to produce an abundance of luxurious lather that cleansed and nourished my hair beautifully without stripping any of my colour. It rinsed away effortlessly leaving my hair feeling much more healthy, nourished, stronger and softer.

Overall, I was very impressed at the efficacy of this Bond Repair Shampoo and will continue to use as a weekly treat alongside my regular hair wash routine. This really is the restorative shampoo my hair has been waiting for - it's incredible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely texture and feel to this shampoo, it smells lovely and lathered up well. I could feel how soft my hair felt even after the first wash. I followed with the matching conditioner. My hair is coloured and fine and I have breakage and frizz, more on one side in particular. When I blow dried afterwards the brush just glided through my hair easily, it felt so nice. I’ve used this a few times now and will continue to do so as my hair looked lovely all day and felt lightweight. I’m excited to see how it strengthens my damaged hair over the coming months so that I have no further breakage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised to find this shampoo lather, normally sulphate free shampoos tend not to and I did think the fragrance was a little strong although not unpleasant. I have shoulder length fine, coloured, type 3B hair and found a 10p size amount of this shampoo was enough so a little goes a long way. Usually I find lather dries out my hair but must admit I was surprised that this didn't and when rinsed out my hair did feel quite conditioned and soft even before applying the conditioner! It is early days but I do feel confident that this shampoo may well do what it says on the bottle.

This may be an indication that the bonds are being repaired which means hair is stronger however as my hair is already quite thick, it made it a little more difficult to manage. If you don't mind this then this may be the perfect shampoo to use. Bearing in mind that if you use conditioner after, the hair does become softer, but oftentimes when there isnt enough time to use the whole selection of product's then you'd have to compromise. For this reason I have taken off one star.
I have not noticed any less breakages or shiner hair after only a week of use.
The shampoo is fragrant and long lasting. Ive had compliments asking what shampoo I use because of the smell.

The shampoo as an individual product I loved the way it thoroughly foamed up in my hair, spreading through easily. It smelt great and washed out without residue.

Used as a whole product line I have noticed a difference in my hair. Being a new Mum it's put up most of the day and I was finding the ends went dry and frizzy where my last colour was growing out. Since using this product I have noticed my ends are smoother, and less tangled. My whole hair has a better shine and brushes easier. Even my partner noticed that it was smelling great and feeling nicer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice rich creamy shampoo. Dispensed easily and a blob about the size of a 50p was sufficient for my collar length hair. Easy to work through the hair with a fairly minimal amount of frothing. It rinsed out of hair quickly leaving no residue. The shampoo had a pleasant mild fragrance and caused no irritation .After use my hair felt soft and clean and looked and felt in good contrition once dried. I expect that continued use will improve the condition significantly as this review is after one use only. I am looking forward to great hair soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many of the Elvive hair care ranges, and loved them all, but this is the best so far! I loved the rich texure and scent of this shampoo, only a little was needed, and it washed easily out without leaving the feeling of any residue. I used it along side the conditioner and the results were impressive! Even my partner commented on how shiny, smooth and healthy my hair looked after the first wash..without knowing i was using a new hair care range. I have just bought another set of the shampoo and conditioner on offer and will continue to use them. Although they are a bit more expensive i think they are worth it, compared to other brands with similar ranges. I look forward to trying some of the other products in the range too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like to us sulphate free when i can but find with some you need to use quite a bit this is not the case with this shampoo Considering its sulphate free, the lather moves into a great creamy, soft consistancy that spreads very evenily . my hair feeling nice and clean and had a nice shine. Its very early days using it, so far i have used for one wash but I did notice my hair didnt have its usual frizz level and my ends looked improved, as with any shampoo i like to use the conditioner in unison to get the best result. It will be interesting to try out other products in the range to see the full value of the product. It is widely available on the high street as an established brand and is reasonably priced doing the job its meant to.

It is lovely product which you do not need to much of as it lathers up extremely well. A fresh fragrance and leaves my hair feeling lovely and soft after using the conditioner. I feel it almost opens up the hair to adsorb the conditioner more. I noticed the difference even just after one use, my hair is lovely and soft and really shiny. This shampoo is so creamy, lathers into rich silky feeling suds and rinses out easily. It smells lovely too!! I found my hair dried a lot quicker, and I was so pleased with the improved texture and glossy look to my hair. Not only was I left with lovely shiny hair, but hair with body and a lovely smoothness to it. No longer any dry or frizzy ends....I now have sleek healthy looking hair!!

I was lucky enough to have been chosen to try Elvive Bond Repair shampoo. My hair is dry at the ends and gets a little oily at the roots. I wash my hair daily, don't judge me! When I straighten my hair, I notice lots of breakage and frizz. My hair needed repair and quick! After just one use, I noticed less hair fall and my hair was smoother! This shampoo is amazing and is at an affordable cost point compared to the other brand which is very expensive. I will continue buying Elvive Bond Repair shampoo... Its a hair lifesaver!

This shampoo lathers up into a mousse like consistency that penetrates straight to the roots & a little goes a long way. I could feel & see a noticeable difference in my hair from the very first wash. I usually need to wash my hair everyday due to oil build up, but I was able to extend that to every second or even third day with this shampoo. After using it for 2 weeks my hair looks so much healthier, is much softer and more manageable. The highlight for me though is the massive reduction in hair loss. I'm not sure if this is due to less breakage or healthier hair follicles, but I am very happy with the results. I used it in-conjunction with the pre-shampoo, conditioner & leave-in serum. I look forward to seeing just how good my hair can get with continued use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so curious to try this product. My hair is a bit damaged due to bleaching and multiple dyes. I also style them every day with curling thongs and hairdryer. I find this shampoo really nice. It is very gentle. It applies well and does not make my hair more dry. On contrary, I would say it brings moisture back to the hair strands and makes them look sleeker and smoother in touch. I also found that it makes them very glossy, almost "commercial like". Only downside of this product is the price for such a small bottle.

I love that all the products in this range are different shapes as to easily tell them apart. The packaging looks very professional I love the way the light reflects on the silver part making little rainbows. The scent is similar to the pre-shampoo in this range but not as strong just a very light fruity/floral sort of smell. The shampoo is very creamy, lathers and spreads throughout the hair very easily but not too much suds. My scalp and hair felt much cleaner after using. The scent lingers a little leaving it smelling very refreshed. My hair is noticeably softer, smoother, and shinier so it looks and feels much healthier than it was. What I like most about this product is how refreshed it leaves you feeling, it feels like this shampoo is giving a thorough deep clean.

It smells absolutely gorgeous and left my hair feeling silky smooth, soft, nourished and super smooth. Even my OH noticed and that’s a 1st!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loreal Bond Repair shampoo claims to reinforce inner broken hair bonds. I have to say, it really did make my hair a million times softer and shinier. If you have coconut husk type hair, I would say this would work wonders! It has a nice pleasant fragrance, and lathers up well, so you don't have to use too much. Only downside maybe is that it might make your hair too soft so much so that it loses body. I think the solution to that is to just use it on the ends if you have fine hair like mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again L'Oreal have come up with the quality shampoo that I have come to expect. The consistency is lovely and thick with a nice gentle scent. You really do not need much at all as it lathers up easily and left me with 'squeaky' clean hair. I have quite damaged hair and I do tend to use heat too often which I know breaks bonds - I think it will take time to really see the difference for sure but my hair feels lovely and it is 'sulphate free', so I am looking forward to the long term results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is in good condition and I don’t often use heat, so for someone who does, maybe the results would differ? I only used the shampoo and conditioner together, so again, maybe better results had I used the pre-shampoo too?
The texture is more like a lotion, it’s thick and I found I needed a lot for my long hair. It does lather nice. The smell is nice (like a skin lotion) but not something I like on my hair.
Having used this product three times so far, I haven’t noticed any difference.

I bought the Bond repair shampoo, conditioner and serum to give it a try. After using all three the second time round, I saw a change in my hair texture for the better, it was a lot smoother and the terrible baby hairs which would never stay down after straightening seemed to have smoothed out and overall my hair looked so much better. The only drawbacks I’ve noticed is that my scalp feels itchy for some reason and my hair falls more while washing and even after compared to when I use my regular shampoo and conditioner. Also, I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but I notice my grey hairs seem to have increased and are becoming more noticeable. I’ve given 4 stars because I’m happy that it tames my baby hairs which no amount of styling or product could fix. Loreal please look into these drawbacks.

I used to bleach and dye my hair alot so my hair is pretty damaged to begin with and it’s so hard for me to look for a great product with affordable price point in the market given that most hair shampoos that fix split ends are pricey! Other than wishing the shampoo bottles comes in a bigger size I’ve no other complaints. After using it for 7 days straight, I started noticing difference in my hair (especially when I got compliments asking if I’ve done any treatments at home or salon?!)

After using for 1 week my hair was noticeably softer and shinier and after 2 weeks my hair feels and looks amazing! My hair is coloured and heat damaged but it feels so much stronger and healthier now, even my dryer, frizzy ends have improved alot. As a bonus it smells beautiful too, I'm definitely sticking with this shampoo and hoping that it continues to repair my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though this shampoo is sulphate free, this and the conditioner lather in really well. This goes into a very nice, soft texture. Some shampoos I need a great amount of product to get it all over my hair and I also end up adding extra to the bits that I've missed. I didn't need much with this one to get my hair feeling nice and clean. I've only used it for a couple of washes but I think already it has tamed some of the frizzy ends that my hair is currently suffering from.

I always intend but never getting round to leaving reviews, however with this one I have too. Since I turned 40 two years ago, my hair seems to have ‘just become horrible’ it’s looks and feels terrible. This product is expensive and I’ve been reluctant to buy it, but treated myself today and used it for the first time tonight and my hair feels awesome!! From the first use!!!! They all say that but this one really has started working straight away! I’m very impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo is really great on all hair types but works extremely well on damaged and dull hair.I have been using it for a week now and even after the first use I noticed my hair isn’t as dry and damaged as it used to be.It lathers nicely so just a tiny amount is needed for long hair.Scent is amazing,clean and fresh and so long lasting.Hair is visibly healthier,shinier and nourished.Along with the conditioner from the same range it brings damaged hair back to life.

Overall I'm loving using this range. My hair was very damaged and in poor condition. I did have a salon trip before starting using these which helped a lot, but I really feel these products helped continue that stronger healthier feeling I left the salon with and my hair has overall felt less brittle and dull. The shampoo looks good in the shower, looks more like a salon type brand, and smells more upmarket than most basic shampoos. Overall I will buy again
