Elvive Bond Repair Pre-Shampoo Rescue Treatment 200ml

This is a pre-shampoo product. I have used similar as scalp treatments before but this said to use throughout hair. It felt a bit strange to use as it doesn't foam like a shampoo or scrub like a scalp treatment. It also adds a significant amount of time to a hair wash as it says to leave in 5 minutes after applying to wet hair, which is a lot of time to be hanging around in the shower. This has been good for my skincare as I've been doing face masks and body scrubs in this time but it would be hard to commit to regularly. Overall my hair feels great and I love these products, but it's hard to know how much of that is due to the pre-treatment as opposed to the rest of the range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a 'Pre-Shampoo' before and would normally of questioned as to why but this lovely thick cream preparation treatment just feels so good. I would advise to dampen your hair before you shower as it is best left on for about 5 minutes and then once rinsed off you follow with your normal shampoo and conditioner. My hair needs all the help it can get and this bond repair really feels like it is helping. I love the thick silky feeling of the cream on application and although it says to apply a generous amount it does saturate your hair well so I dont think you need to apply too much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Bond Repair range for a while now and absolutely adore it and my hair feels and looks so strong and healthy! I was really keen to try the pre-shampoo and try the whole range in its entirety to achieve maximum results. The pre-shampoo is like a light conditioner type formula. It is easily distributed through the hair and washes out without leaving residue. After the first use my hair already felt so sort and managable and that was before I had used anything else! Having not really used a pre-shampoo treatment before, i definitely found it made a difference, especially when used with the other products in the range! My hair is looking fantastic and i would strongly recommend to others!

It is so easy to use I just put it on for my wet hair in the shower for 5 minutes before shampoo, then followed normal routine. My hair came out so soft and silky and my waves were really well defined and no frizz. Going forward it has also helped to mend my hair it feels softer the more applications I use. I also love the smell it smells just like salon hair products really high end and it really stays on your hair. The bottle may be small but it is mighty on even on my thick long hair I have hardly used any. Totally recommend.

Elvis's new Bond Repair Pre-Shampoo is very good. I bleech my hair to a medium blonde shade and it always gets a bit of frizz unless I dry it very well after a regular shampoo. After the first application of the Bond Repair Pre-Shampoo I could instantly feel how much smoother my hair was. It's quite a thick formula so is a little heavy, but I just popped my hair in a bun while I waited to jump in the shower. I'm also glad it is sulphate free, the only thing I don't love (which is the same for other pre-treatments) is the wetting of the hair prior to putting it on!

I love the futuristic packaging and I like that it promises to 'recreate inner broken hair bonds'. It's an extra step in my hair care routine, so it's something I would save for when I have time to pamper my locks. However, the results are worth it. My hair was left fresh and soft, and very smooth and strong indeed! Note that you have to leave it in for 5 minutes for it to work properly, so make sure your bathroom is not too cold while you wait!

I left it on for 10 minutes before following up with the Bond Repair shampoo and conditioner. The smell is divine and lasts on you hair for several hours . Hair is left feeling soft healthy and nourished. Just as good as the other bond repair system at a far more affordable price. After rinsing off the conditioner use the Bond Repair leave in serum on damp hair before drying. Can be used on dry hair too. Another winning combination treat for the hair from Loreal.

It was easy to apply and I didnt have to apply much product to cover the entirity of my hair either. I also really like the soft floral scent it has. I left it on my hair for 5 minutes prior to applying my normal shampoo and I instantly noticed that my hair appeared sleeker and less frizzier than normal. I look forward to seeing the results to my hair after more uses and with the use of the other products in this range as I am inpressed so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the bind repair shampoo and conditioner for a little while now, and it’s made such a different to my hair. I’ve now had a chance to try the bond repair pre shampoo and also the leave in serum. I’m not sure if they have really added anything to boost my hair in addition to using the shampoo and conditioner, but I will continue to use them in case the effects take a few uses to show. The pre shampoo is like a thick conditioner mask and you must add it to wet hair (I mistakenly put it on dry hair the first time)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having tried other pre shampoo treatments for damaged hair on the market (Some good, some bad) it always goes back to comparing them to the original No.3 product many will know. In my opinion this product is the closest to being like that one. It is very good quality, smells amazing and the benefits I've seen since using it are very good. Time will tell if it does help with repairing etc, but so far the is a fraction of the price and well worth trying. My hair felt lovely after, so soft. When I blow dried it even helped smooth out my frizz/grey hairs at my root area. If used with the whole range my hair feels absolutely amazing! You really do need to be using this with the shampoo and conditioner in the same range. Add to that the serum and its the total package!

My hair drank this up on my first use, clearly dry and needing the repair. On my second use, the treatment still soaked in quickly to my damp hair. Both times, there was no lingering greasy residue, only the feeling of damp hair.

There was a noticeable improvement in my hair's quality in the following days after the full treatment: less flyaway, no new split ends, and even a slight shade lighter than before. I felt like a millionaire after using these products, pampered as though with a full salon treatment.

I love doing a hair mask type product once a week to help the condition of my hair so I was eager to try this pre shampoo to see if it done the same job. I used this then gave my hair my usual wash. Afterwards my hair felt so smooth and silky. It had a lovely shine to it and my hair felt so clean. I cant say if my hair has less breakage yet as it’s only been a couple of washes but I’m hoping after a few more uses that I will see a difference with that.

I used this as instructed, lathered my hair from root to end and left on for 5 mins or so before shampooing. It felt rich and nice on my hair and felt like a nice masque. My hair still washed really well and I didn’t feel like I had been left with a residue. My hair feels soft and smooth afterwards. This was only first use so I will continue use and hope for some good results! Either way it felt like a nice treatment to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was my hair I usually only grab a shampoo and conditioner, but I received this pre-shampoo treatment as part of the Bond Repair range and was curious to try it on my slightly damaged hair. It does require some discipline to use four products (pre-shampoo, shampoo, conditioner and serum) instead of two, but the results are there. It instantly smoothes my hair and makes it a lot easier to manage. It also makes my hair feel a lot stronger and replenished. A great product and I really like this range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve just used this once, and was surprised that it did not foam. I thought it was a shampoo - even though it says is a pre-shampoo treatment! Anyway it did leave my hair quite clean feeling, and ready to have the ‘second’ stage - the shampoo. I’ve only used this once as I try to restrict washing my hair to once a week and I haven’t had any real results from it yet. I think it must be the kind of process where you need to use all the steps/products together a few times to see any results.

I absolutely LOVE this Pre Shampoo, I’ve never tried one before so hard to compare but I am super impressed with this.
It doesn’t seem to lather up like normal shampoo so it kind of feels like you need a lot meaning the bottle won’t last as long, however, it is easy to use and let me tell you the clean feeling even after just this is insane haha it’s a clean soft feeling I’ve never felt with any other shampoo.
I would absolutely highly recommend to anyone thinking of giving it a try.

I’ve never used a pre-shampoo before and was surprised at how well it cleaned my hair. After rinsing, I could feel my hair was cleaner than when I use just shampoo alone.
I have used the Elvive Bond Pre-Shampoo, Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-In Serum together and have found my hair to have less breakage and to look and feel much healthier.
I’m very happy with the outcome.

I didn't really like this product. As a pre- shampoo, i felt like I needed to plan when I was going to wash my hair. Having to wash my hair over the sink, as I didn't wan to waste water having a shower for 5 minutes while I wait for the product to work wasn't great! The product didn't foam as a shampoo usually does. Not sure if was meant to though.
The product really didn't do anything for my hair. I think just using the L’Oreal Paris Elvive Bond Repair Shampoo is enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this a few times and firstly would say you do need a lot (as recommended ‘use generous amount’) so I’m not sure how cost effective it is as a product- although I did find myself using less shampoo and conditioner after starting my hair washing with this. My hair definitely feels good after using it - soft and manageable- but I’m not convinced it’s any more so than using the bond repair shampoo & conditioner on their own. In summary it’s fine, but potentially pointless!

I put a small amount of it on my wet hair and left it for 5 minutes before shampooing with the other products in the range - the shampoo, conditioner and the serum.

I did think that a lot of product going through my hair wouldn't make it look so good, but once dried it looked so healthy and shiny. I plan on using it once a week to keep my hair looking in top condition.

First of all I loved the smell of this new product.
It is very easy to apply and I could see the great results after my blow dry.
My hair felt a lot stronger and I could see less breakage when I was combing it.
It is a shame I didn’t get the chance to try the whole range for maximum results but this product definitely convinced me.

I used this pre-shampoo as part of the 4-step system. I’m not used to using a pre-shampoo product, and I did find it tricky to distribute it through my hair if I left it too long between washes and my hair was too oily. It also needs to sit on the hair for 5 minutes before rinsing and shampooing, so it’s not the best if you’re trying to just get a quick wash in. In saying that, I do think it contributed to my hair feeling and looking smoother and stronger.

I had never used a "Pre shampoo" item before and thought it was probably just a ploy to get us to buy more products but I really do this this has been making a difference to my hair and I may just have been converted. Since using this product I have found my hair is a lot softer and less damaged. I have found by wetting my hair and leaving it in for 5 or so minutes before getting in the shower is easier than standing there for that long before washing out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Normally I understand a product but I can’t say I’ve fully found anything to compare this to! I’ve been doing some home renovation recently and sanding down a LOT of filler that has left my hair feeling dry and crispy. No conditioner has been touching it and my curls have been looking and feeling awful. I tried this just as a chance as I admittedly have highlighted hair and within a single use it’s as if it’s allowed my conditioner to work and penetrate again and shampoo to finally clean my hair. It’s a fantastic product, I don’t own or have owned anything like it and I can easily justify the extra 5-10 mins it takes to add in this product once a week to keep my hair feeling as nice as it finally does again!

Texture wise it’s like a moisturiser (which is what confused me so much) and scent isn’t strong so just top marks all around.

L’Oréal Paris Elvive Bond Repair Rescue Pre-Shampoo. i Loved this pre-shampoo because it really repairs your hair intrinsically, it is a comple ingredient with 12% Bond Repair Complex + Citric Acid, that indeed rebuilds inner broken bonds, strengthens your hair and prevents hair breakage. It seals the cuticle and restores lipidic layers, thus giving your hair more softness, strength and shine. i will definitely recommend this once out in the market.

My hair was left in sticky wire like conditions and I am so upset over the price of this product for it to leave my hair in this condition , I bought this whole range thinking my hair would be in great condition but was left unimpressed over the feeling of my hair and the money spent, I would not recommend a product of this price for the chance of this experience, my hair has never felt like this after using any other products. Not impressed at all

The first thing I noticed about this pre-shampoo was the lovely (but not overpowering) scent that leaves hair smelling wonderful! I have never used a pre-shampoo before, but I’d definitely use this one again, as it left my hair feeling hydrated but not weighed down or heavy. The only down side is that you have to leave it in damp hair for five minutes, so it’s not conducive with your daily quick shower when combined with numerous other steps.

I am very time poor, like a lot of working mums. I know I should focus on me more but there aren't enough hours in the day. The Elvive Bond Repair pre-shampoo is great in theory and does an awesome job, however I just didn't have the time to dampen my hair, pre shampoo, then shampoo. I found I skipped this step most of the time. However when I did use it, it definitely made a difference. It left my hair cleaner after the shampoo and smoother.

My hair was in terrible condition for quite awhile due to previously bleaching it A LOT! And this is the only products i know that have made a difference and my hair is in pretty decent condition now. So i will definitely keep using this range.
