Wake Up and Glow C'est Magic Cest Magic BB Cream - 05 Medium Dark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oooh! I’m starting to change my mind about so-called “drug store” brands. I don’t wear a lot of make up and if I do, I just want something with light coverage that will make my skin look a bit healthier, gently mattify without looking cakey or drying my skin out and evening out my skin tone. Too much to ask? Not with this! My skin is med-dark with warm yellow undertones in summer but somewhat lighter in winter. Despite that, Medium-Dark was perfect and not too dark. It goes on an alarmingly pink colour but fear not! It quickly blends into a pretty sheer tint for that genuine no-make-up make up look. It’s lightweight and smells lovely too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to receive & start using L’Oréal’s C’est Magic BB Cream especially now that spring is here and soon it’ll be summer as I tend to steer away from foundation during this time of year and like to opt for a lighter coverage from a BB cream.Having said that I hadn’t found one that works with my skin until I tried this one from L’Oréal.Available in 5 shades this BB cream gives perfect overall & even coverage,it feels so much lighter on your skin than foundation and allows your skin to breathe and stay hydrated.You can also use extra product if you do seek a heavier coverage,such a versatile product to have in your make up bag. The product is also cruelty free which is another huge bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really enjoyed using this product so far, I don't normally like to wear a heavy foundation anyway as I find them too thick and drying on my skin, so this was perfect for me as it was really lightweight and not noticeable on the skin at all. The shade I selected was a bit too dark for me but I found if I mixed it with one of my usual face creams it was perfect! I've found myself reaching for this every day since I got it and find most days all I need is this and some concealer and my base is done! Definitely recommend if you like an easy everyday base.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a very light BB cream that would work well for people who require very little coverage. It comes out as a very runny, mauve coloured liquid that changes in colour to skin tones upon application to the skin. The colour turned out to be slightly darker to my natural skin tone but looked like a tinted bronzer so I liked the colour. I liked the moisturising aspect of this product and it felt light and comfortable on my face. After a few hours it dried down slightly to a soft matte and looked quite natural. My average to low score for this product is because it was too thin and watery and it didn't provide enough coverage so red areas and blemishes on my face still peeked through. It also didn't have much in the way of transfer resistance.

The pros: -very very light as described. - the colour match is excellent - it is flawless as described - great make up base or can go without makeup! The cons: - not the best moisturiser, i do mix with my regular moisturiser on occasion -can show up dry patches - it does rub off easily, eg when wiping your nose Overall, I really like the product and would use it in the future, and the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is amazing for a dewy skin look. It looks lilac straight from the bottle but once applied to your skin it matches your skin tone. It looks completely natural, but almost like you've applied a primer, all pores, spots, gone. I feel like it helps me retain most of my hydration from serums and my moisturiser, and on days when I can't be bothered to put on a full face, it does trick completely. Except for lashes (but fiber-x mascara has you covered ).

Perfect for summer days , gym and light leisure activities when I don’t want a full face of make up but my skin isn’t playing ball to go totally make up free! Perhaps a slightly different shade would be better for me personally but this was my own oversight placing an online selection as I’m not yet familiar with the shades in this range.
