Revitalift Eye Bag Instant Eraser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The revitalift eye bag instant eraser was an interesting new product for me. I have tried under eye serums and various other products before but never an eye bag eraser. The product is easy to apply and feels a bit sticky to touch. I can’t say I noticed any major difference to my under eye but I don’t have too much to remove there. I think if you do it definitely would help to firm up the area under the eyes. I’m not a massive fan of the texture it left but i didn’t apply make up over top and I think that if you did it would have helped with the stickiness. It did last all day on the skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I put the eye cream on my eyes felt like they were tightening up. Fine lines and my skin texture changed and looked smoother under the eyes. The left side eye did feel a bit sore. My under eyes looked better than before. I left the cream on and kept still for about 30 mins before putting my makeup on. When I blended in my under eye concealer it started to crease and made my lines look deeper. The left eye was still sore so tried to remove with face cream but did not work. Then tried to remove with water based make up remover. All in all did make my eyes look better but wasn't very good with makeup applied on top. Plus if you have thin sensitive skin I would not recommend as eye was sore.

You need to follow the really precise instructions for application and removal – it’s not something you can leave on overnight! The downsides are that you cannot move your face for 15 minutes whilst it dries and when it is dry, it is matte and doesn’t sit well under make-up if you apply before your foundation. It is better when applied over make-up but you still must be careful to avoid a “cakey” look. I think it did reduce my creases a little, but not sure it made any difference to the dark circles under my eyes. Also has a strange smell, but not really noticeable after application. Will use a few times more to decide whether it does work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t have particular Loy bad eye bags but I was intrigued to try this. I read the instructions and applied over my tinted sunscreen. It dries quickly and you are advised not to make facial expressions for 15 mins which wasn’t too difficult. Afterwards the skin looked tighter and smoother and there was no white cast or piling from the sunscreen. It didn’t sting but I was aware of it being on my skin for the rest of the day. It washes off with my normal cleanser easily. I would like to try it on wrinkles to see if it helps and that will be my next try. Seems like a decent product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive used the instant Eye Bag eraser a few times now before giving a review. I'm honestly not sure that my under eyebags are big enough to do it justice. Guess I need more late nights! The packaging is top class as we can expect rom L'Oréal. And you get lots of product for your money. Following the directions I apply a small amount tapping along the eye bag and then wait 15 minutes while not making any big facial expressions, harder than it sounds! And Ta Da! my under eye is smoothed. Amazing that it works over makeup. A definite priority for anyone with significant puffyness.

Does this product have anaesthetic in it? I tried it on my lip lines and eyes. It made a decent job, I have hollows so it's more then that makes me look like I have bags, whilst it smoothed an tine lines in them it didn't get rid of them. However on my lip lines my lip( only did 1 side) inside and out felt like I'd been at the dentist and anaesthetic was wearing off. I only ask as it would explain why people feel a tightening and am not sure if it would be legal to put that on people's faces. It doesn't feel like a lip plumper does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok but didn’t really remove my bags and a bit of a chew on, applied on clean skin as the instructions waited the 15 minutes and applied make up however went a bit flaky however they did look better before I applied foundation (didn’t use concealer as thought might make make up heavy) which is what happened for me!! I tried again (luckily I’m tanned) so no foundation and must say I’m impressed when using just mascara and eye liner, could be just me applying incorrect when using foundation but saying that fab without make up for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instantly erase eye bags and wrinkles… what a great idea! Unfortunately I don’t think this product lives up to its promises. It’s easy to apply and does give a blurring effect, but any “tightening” was minimal and I didn’t really see any noticeable results, no matter which part of my face I applied it. It doesn’t smell particularly nice, but luckily this didn’t linger. My main issue with this product however is that you can see it on the skin. It dries down to a blurred, matt finish, so on my bare skin I can see the patches. You’re meant to apply it on top of your make up, so I don’t think this would work on top of a glowy, dewy look. I even tried applying my usual powder foundation over the top, but I could still see the patches. It washes off fine with an oil cleanser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Use after applying make up using pea sized amount, it's important to leave it to dry and make as little movement as possible. Feels a bit strange when it's dry as you can feel the tightness and I found it a bit uncomfortable. It does make the eye area look better but not sure it actually disguises the bags under eyes. I would say when removing it I found it took several applications of eye makeup remover to remove every trace. Overall I think it is more bother than it's worth for me but others may like the effect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does work well but it isn't instantaneous, it does take 10-15 minutes to fully work. It does help improve the appearance under the eye area but works best without makeup, If applied before makeup it doesn't look as good so would be best after make up. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, they are simple and easy to follow and be sure to remove it before going to sleep. Only thing I would add is that there is a slightly odd scent that is unpleasant but it does ease off once applied

It smells really strong of chemicals, you can smell the usual L’Oréal scent however the chemical smell is overpowering. I applied as per instructions, it did nothing for under eye bags, it dried my under eye out so badly it was uncomfortable. I washed it off and tried the following day thinking it could have been first application, sadly I’ve tried it around 12 times and each time the same

It’s definitely effective and seemed to smooth the creases very well. However, I’m quite dark under eyes and when I tried it with make up it didn’t work well as the make up creased under it and looked awful. I could not get it looking good at all. If you’re not a regular make up wearer this would work well for you.

Can’t say I noticed any difference but maybe was too tentative with the tiny pea-sized amount. It’s a bit unnerving with the instructions telling you to not move your face for 15 mins & then to use waterproof remover and to make sure not to sleep with the product on. With all that it’s not really something you feel comfortable using on sensitive skin or anywhere near your eye.

Important to follow instructions by allowing it time to set in as it is quite mattifying and you can feel a layer on the skin. I found that when make up was applied on top, it did move the product and cause a little residue. However I then realised the instructions said this is the last step, to be applied ON TOP of skin care or make up. I prefer it for make up free days anyway to make me look less tired

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very interesting product! It was fairly easy to use if you follow the instructions carefully. You can feel it 'working', there is a tightening sensation when it's been applied and that doesn't really go away. It really does give that smooth under eye look, but for me it looked a little unnatural. It's very matte and made my wrinkles look much worse than they actually are. I think it would probably look great on camera but not in real life!

When I received this product, I did not expect the results I saw.

I have always had puffiness, wrinkles, and loss of firmness in the under-eye areas. And during this time, I did not expect anything.

However, I applied a thin, even layer and gently patted it in without rubbing, waited 15 minutes without making any facial expressions, and saw real results. My under-eye bags and wrinkles completely disappeared. Yes, I felt a film under my eyes, but if you need to look amazing for any occasion, this is for you. It lasts all day until I remove it with a waterproof cleanser in the evening. This product dries, has a stretchy formula, so I am comfortable using it. After using it, my skin feels firmer.

With this product I can feel confident again .

First of all, it doesn't smell good at all but the good news is it dissipates fast. Very simple to apply, the hard part is avoiding moving your face for 15 minutes! I'm aware its 'there' but its not uncomfortable or anything and i'd probably forget as the day goes on. It really did smooth out the underage area and I'd absolutely use it again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have relatively heavy eye bags this cream here is the only thing that really helps me. I am amazed and surprised how well this cream works when used correctly, even over makeup. I apply a small amount of the cream here to my eye bags. It is easy to apply and blends in quickly, in about 2 minutes, my bags under the eyes will be gone and will stay that way - for the entire working day. That is an absolute game changer would highly recommend.

I recently added a review for this product and Loreal obviously dont check them. I put a tiny amount on my lip lines on one side and its resulted in my mouth, gum and 3 teeth being very numb for 3 days now. I went to the Dr's today and they have advised that Dimethicone is used in this product which is a relation of Dimethicane which is used in dentists anaesthetics. Explains everything. Hopefully it will wear off over the week. My criticism is that skincare companies do not tell you what each ingredients does for the product. I have been worried sick fo 3 days trying to understand how a product could give me symptoms that resemble the feeling after having a filling. I now know. LOreal! You need to do better in reploying to reviews. I will be reporting this to the relevant autholrities as this may be a bad batch with too much Dimethicone in it.

It doesn’t do much for my dark circles (nothing does) but on the days where I’m a little puffy this has certainly reduced that down. If you are a very puffy under eye bag person then you need this. I’m knocking off a star because it has a strong smell and waiting for 15 minutes without making any facial expressions for it to set is a long time.

I applied a small pea size amount under and around the outer edge the eye over my make up and waited until the magic happened.
I dramatically saw a huge reduction in my eye bags and fine fines straight away.I did feel the product on my skin slightly but nothing to bother you and didn’t leave any residue as dries to get the desired effect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only tried this instant eye bag eraser once so far but it seems to have done what it is supposed to and that is erased the eye bags. This is a light cream that soaks in easily and you only need to use a tiny amount for the magic to work. However, I will only use it when I am going out and not daily because after applying you have to keep your face still for 15 minutes which is no good when you are getting ready in a rush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was lovely to try out the L'Oreal Instant Eye Bag Eraser - I am quite self conscious about my under eye baginess, but this was intially lovely, I followed the instructions to the letter, but was just ever so slightly disappointed as my skin felt overly taut - it did give a little during the day, but I don't think it is for me - but 'well done' L'Oreal for addressing the issue which is common for us ladies of later years !!

It effectively reduces the appearance of eye bags for up to 12 hours. It is the most effective non-surgical solution I have encountered. It does not leave any residue and absorbs very well, resulting in smooth, refreshed, and youthful-looking skin around the eyes. I am very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried this out as part of a sample review, I found it is ok to wear on odd occasions but to have to sit and wait for 15 minutes while it dries is a faff. It says don’t sleep with it on and to remove with a waterproof remover and again this is just something I don’t want to be worried about. For going out I will apply as it is perfect and does work but all the preparation is too much hassle for everyday use.

I bought this hoping it would work and it does. I don't have bags under my eyes, I have packing crates. Nothing has worked and although this is not permanent it does last at least 8 hours which is great for when I don't want to look as if I haven't slept for a decade. Follow the instructions and it works perfectly. Getting the right amount is essential and does take a bit of practise but it's well worth it.

The area around my eyes is one of my main skincare concerns, so I product that treats was top of my wish list! Extremely easy to use, my wrinkles were less visible and puffiness was reduced. Once the cream is applied you can't even tell its on. Absolute game changing product!!

It is a light cream that soaks in quickly. You can feel it working instantly. Try to keep your face still as it works its magic. After 15 minutes your ready the skin feels firm and you can see the results even after one use. Really love this little miracle cream

This product is expensive and total rubbish , I applied as instruction and after second application I had very tender red nippy eyes , they felt like they’d been burnt . It’s smell like glue and feels like it to . I wish I had read all the reviews first as quite a few suffered the same reaction . Please don’t waste your money on this product it should come with a health warning and does not work
