[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent product and it certainly gives the skin on your face a proper deep clean. It gently but thoroughly removes dead skin cells and clears blocked and problematic pores meaning that blackheads are cleared away.
It’s non drying and smells nice. My face has cleared up so well just by using this particular face wash so I’d definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pure Carbon is a little weird when you open the tube, it's almost totally black. once you get over the initial shock the smell is nice and the effect is great. if you have greasy skin it will take away the shine and clean the pores a treat. after a few days of using this my face looks so much better. Very pleased with this product.

It would defenmitely be a bad choice for sensitive skin. It got into my eyes, and man it hurt. My eyes stung for a good few minutes and hurt afterwards. I would not recommend. The smell is too strong as well.

The charcoal colour might appear strange, but it definitely seems to be unblocking the pores in my skin which is good news for me and bad news for blackheads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gentle face wash, I have been using this in the shower each morning and has not caused any dryness or beard dandruff like some of the ‘L’Oréal barber range did’ it’s a shame this doesn’t have any exfoliation particles in it but other than that it’s not caused any issues, a little goes a long way too!

I have been using it every morning and evening after washing my face and before I use my moisturiser. You need to be gentle with it though as it can feel a bit scratchy. I think this is making my skin look clearer and feel softer.

I used twice or once a day but made sure it's daily. My oily T zone is less oily and balanced. This product is also good for dry skin and blackhead prone skins.

You don’t need to use lots as it has great coverage. My skin is certainly feeling smoother and even a bit brighter. Definitely on my shopping list now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This face wash is amazing, It comes out the bottle a dark grey metallic colour, It has a thicker consistency than most other face washes so you only need a little on your hands or face cloth, It lathers up really well and your face feels completely refreshed after using it.

Squirted small amount on to my fingers and scrubbed. It felt good! Not too harsh and rinsed off well, leaving my skin feeling smoother and looking better

The only thing I don’t like is the black colour which can be a pain to wash off and makes me need to change the water and wash again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always sceptical about face washes with 'bits' in but this face wash absorbs into the skin nicely with a decent leather and after rinsing, skin feels cleansed and soft.

I do use it in combination with my shaving routine and does minimise and sooth any irritation.
