Out with new, in with the old please 😩

I seem to have been using this product for over a decade at least now, it’s 100% my daily moisturiser. I usually wait for it to be on special and buy up a big supply. But recently I’ve had to buy new stock and the formula appears to have now changed to a white cream. I found the old blue gel type cream was quickly absorbed, felt cool on the face and it had a pleasant scent. The new formula for me doesn’t seem to be as “light” and cool on the face. The fresh scent is gone.
Why the reason for the product change, it was a great product already and I think a lot of people will start agreeing the old blue gel formula was better.

BRING BACK THE BLUE HYDRA POWER GEL (APR 2024)

I have now tried all of the new & 'newly packaged' L'Oreal Men Expert 'Hydra Power' men's moisturiser range and none of them even come close to the previous BLUE 'Hydra Power’ Anti-Discomfort - Anti Fatigue’ gel with Mountain Water.
I used the blue gel Hydra-Power for almost 10 years! and loved it. Prior to that I used the previous formula called Hydra Energetic, which had an icey, cooling effect - absolutely the BEST moisturisers I've ever used in my 57 years - (better than Clarins gel moisturisers & Clinique's gel formulas) and my skin has never looked or felt better.
Hydra Power gel absorbed quickly into my skin and felt super-lite on my face with a refreshing cooling sensation + an uplifting but very subtle icey fragrance. These new formulas are all cream-based 'goop' that sits on my face like a mask, has way too much fragrance (who needs fragrance on their face?), hurts my eyes when I sweat at the gym and irritates my skin even after using for 1 week + it's shiny & not mattifying like the blue gel was.
I’ve spent the last 8 months trying to find an alternative that comes close to the blue gel formula and cannot find anything that even comes close to Hydra Power. Bring it back L'Oreal. It was a much-loved product & I miss it everyday.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hydra Energetic Anti-Fatigue Moisturiser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not one to particularly use moisturiser, but I received some Hydra Energetic Anti-Fatigue Moisturiser for free from L'Oréal Paris and have been trying it out for the past few days.
It comes in a small pump-action container, with the moisturiser itself being a pale blue colour. It's not very oily and rubs into the skin quite easily. It does have a noticeable menthol feel to it, which may not be liked by everyone. If you use too much, it can make your face feel quite warm for a time.
I used it as part of my shave routine following a face wash and shave balm. Using the moisturiser did make my face feel fresher in the morning and noticeably smoother.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Hydra Energetic Anti-Fatigue Moisturiser for free from L'Oréal Paris and started to use it straight away. I have tried several products before ranging in price and I am still looking for that one that actually does what the common idiomatic phrase states ,"It does exactly what it says on the tin"....and I think I have finally found that one!! Hydra Energetic Anti-Fatigue Moisturiser is brilliant just one push of the top and you get the right amount to put on your face. The product isn't greasy and it actually feels and smells great. This product is certainly a once a day application as it lasts..

L'Oréal Men Expert Moisturiser

I suffer from ingrown hairs on my neck when shaving. I have tried a plethora of products that have claimed to reduce or remove irritation post shave and never found anything to be a help. I was pleasantly surprised to shave a few times this week and using this product twice daily I have not had one ingrown. I am actually befuddled.
In terms of a general moisturiser it has a pleasant aroma and does not feel oily. It helps with dark circles under my eyes.
I would definitely purchase this product in future and likely give up my clarins routine as this is cheaper and just as good if not better

I bought this just over a month ago and my skin on my face has got much brighter and cleaner and more vibrant. It has helped with my confidence and I'm more comfortable with myself and would advise men to give it a try for a month minimum and I believe you won't go back to your old product. It brightens up your face and clears up fine lines and helps with wrinkles. The thing I feel it has helped me with the most is it has made me look healthy and radiant and I'm 44 years old and some people can't believe that and say they'd have said I looked 34 lol 😂 so big up L'Oréal men for this product 😀

The Hydration cream you need

The product was amazing and i feel that it really did Hydrate my skin and made it silky smooth after shaving too. I felt that its added effects after having used it for the week allowed for my skin to glow as well as provide a shine to it that other ones are not able to do. The Fragrance is also something that i enjoyed as it was not too powerful when it was applied on. The instructions on how to use it was very basic and understanding that anyone would be able to follow them. I rate that this product is a must buy for men that want to have the perfect skin complexion for any day of the week.

I am writing this review on behalf of my partner who ONLY lets this this product touch his skin. We have to go on road trips to find this miracle cream and stock up in case it ever gets discontinued, in which case my life might not be worth living if it does. He took 8 bottles with him on an extended overseas trip last year. He says that this is the only miosturiser he has used that keeps his dry patches (he also shaves his head) in check but he knows won't make him break out. The scent isn't overpowering and it doesn't leave any residue. The pump pack works reliably and dispenses all of the product from the bottle. It doesn't seem to make him less tired or more energetic, but it keeps his skin hydrated and clear.
