Wake Me Up Hydra

This face wash has 4 points it states on the package.
1) Refreshed, yes it definitely makes your face feel fresh with a menthol like feel to it.
2) Cleansed, yes it definitely makes your face feel fresh and removes any dirt and oils.
3) No tight feeling, this wasn’t exactly true for me, definitely not a great deal of tightness, however there was some once skin started to dry and before applying moisturiser.
4) Vitamins, not really able to assess anything about this.
I did notice the product is chemical heavy and made Overseas, both these points are a negative for myself.
It does have an amazing scent, consistency and lather.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A face wash that makes a difference!

This face wash has a nice refreshing orange citrus scent, and the vapour reminds me of Vick's where I feel like it is clearing my sinuses as I wash my face. I've used the product for four days now, and feel like my skin is smoother, tighter, and less dry than it has been compared to using body wash on my face. My partner has also borrowed this and has the same positivity about it too. I'm sure sure both of us would be buying this once we run out.

Surprised with the results

I never used to be someone who would readily use any kind of face cleansing, or moistiurising products. Shampoo and conditioner were the extent of my abilities.
Since using the Face wash I have noticed some new habits and some surprising results for me personally.
- The scent of the wash I quite like and so did my partner. It was not so strong to mess with my generally sensitive nose, but enough to give your face a nice scent.
- My face did feel a lot cleaner after using it. This would be a combination of a) washing my face b) the cleansing properties of the product.
- I did also notice my face felt little less oily (probably due to the above reasons)
- The products gel is an interesting consistency. Its nice putting the gel on, however a bit difficult to remove as it takes a fair bit of effort.
Overall I am pretty happy with the product and would look at purchasing again.

Great refreshing face wash

L'Oréal Men Expert Hydra Energetic Wake Up Effect Face Wash is a great face wash in general however is nothing exceptional over other face washes. It leaves the face feeling clean and refreshed however does not have any additional cooling feeling over any other gel based face washes. I personally do like the smell of the face wash which remains after washing your face for a decent amount of time. I have not experienced any irritation from this product however my skin isn't particularly sensitive.

Fragrance, Feel, Response and Personal.

1. Fragrance, it is so refreshing.
2. Feel, from the first wash, the skin was definitely smooth and felt hydrating.
3. Response, My kid was so happy to see my face and said your skin has become smooth, she was very happy with smell and feel of my skin
4. Personal, I feel this face wash was very impressive, big tick on feel and response. I would however keep it for summers as after washing the face you feel so cool and even slight breeze on your face it feels amazing.

Deteriorating Quality

I have been using this product for over 14 years and in the last 2 years L'oreal have changed it's packaging with some cheap plastic that has a very ruptured feel and the cap breaks even at a tiny drop in the shower and all the liquid skips the bottle followed by that. Didn't expect this level of cheapness from a global company that is churning humungous amount of profits year after year by cheating it's customers .

Great wake up routine

This face wash is great to use in the morning when you are feeling groggy and sleepy. It really wakes me up with the skin heating that it does and tightening effect. It also does a great job at cleaning my skin in the morning, as it removes all dirt while leaving my skin with just the right amount of natural skin oils so that it doesn't feel died out and annoying. Would definitely buy again!

A product that is true to its word.

Trialing this product I was skeptical at first to see if this product was any good. I was truely amazed. From the time that I opened the lid it smelt really refreshing. On applying the product to the face it was really soothing. After letting it sit and washing it off my face was left real cleansed and free from dirt. Been using it for 2 weeks now and my face has never felt better
