How To Use

With L’Oréal Lumi glow liquid blush, a flawless, lit-from-within glow is just a few steps away. Perfect for any occasion, it effortlessly complements your unique beauty.

1. Begin with clean, moisturised skin. For the best results, apply your favourite foundation or base such as Lumi Glotion.

2. Gently remove any excess product from the doe-foot applicator.

3. Smile to locate the apples of your cheeks, then use the applicator to apply 1-3 dots of the dewy liquid blush on each cheek.

4. Use your fingertips or a sponge to gently pat into the skin for a seamless finish. Blend upward and outward toward your hairline for a natural, lifted effect.

5. For a more pronounced glow, layer the blush until you reach your desired intensity. Its buildable formula ensures a seamless and luminous finish every time.

6. Dab a small amount onto the tip and bridge of your nose for a soft flush.

How to apply liquid blush?

Use the built-in applicator or your fingers to apply a small amount of liquid blush directly to the apples of your cheeks. For a soft, natural makeup look, start with one or two dots of blush. Using your fingertips or a damp make-up sponge, blend the product in patting motions. Work outward and upward toward your temples for a lifted effect. The Lumi Le Liquid Blush formula blends effortlessly, helping you customise the level of colour and radiance.

Can you use liquid blush with powder foundation?

While we do recommend a liquid base for best results, you can use liquid blush with powder foundation such as Infallible Longwear Powder Foundation. It's important to apply it carefully to avoid patchiness. To make it work:

Use a minimal amount of liquid blush to prevent disrupting the powder foundation underneath.
Tap the product into your skin using your fingers or a damp makeup sponge.
Set if needed: once the blush is applied, you can lightly dust a translucent setting powder over it to lock it in place.

Is powder or liquid blush better?

It depends on your preferences and desired look. A powder blush can deliver a softer, matte finish for a dreamy and blurred look, while liquid blush is best to add a radiant and natural flush to the skin. For an even longer lasting look, try combining the two by setting your liquid blush with a powder formula - simply use a brush to gently sweep a powder blush over your cheeks after applying our Lumi Le Liquid blush.

How long does liquid blush last?

Liquid blush is designed to provide long-lasting colour throughout the day. The wear time can vary depending on your skin type, application method and whether it is set with other makeup products.

Formulas with a lightweight, blendable texture, such as an illuminating liquid blush, can maintain a fresh and radiant finish for extended wear. For longer-lasting results, you can layer the product gradually and set it with a light dusting of powder or setting spray.

Can I use liquid blush on my lips?

Liquid blush can be used on the lips, but it depends on the formula. Some products are designed specifically for cheeks and may not feel as comfortable or suitable for lip application.

If you choose to use a liquid blush on your lips:

Apply a small amount and blend gently for a soft wash of colour
Layer with a lip balm or gloss for added comfort

I had initially started off with 2 daps on each cheek and blended it with fingers and it was a lot of colour. Something I’m not used to as I like to be subtle when it comes to blush. The next day, I applied 1 dap on each cheek blending it with my fingers and it was perfect. The blush was noticeable but nothing too over the top. It’s a pretty colour and a highly pigmented blush.

It will last for a lot of applications with you only needing a couple of drops. Don’t be worried about the colour as it looks bright initially but blends in easily to the right colour. I would buy again. You can also put on your lips.
