Fantastic L’Oréal volume spray

This is my first time using a volume spray and I really like it. I am a long time user of dry shampoo as I sometimes have flat hair and need more volume and texture at my roots. I like the design of the nozzle and spray function. There isn’t a heavy residue with the product that is difficult to comb out which you can sometimes get with dry shampoo. So it is a simple spray, style and you’re good to go. I’m happy with the product and would consider purchasing again even over my trusted dry shampoos. My husband even used it a couple times for his hair styling and said it gives your hair a natural easy style with a little extra volume.

Not for thick heavy hair

Overall I was a bit dissapointed with this product.i was excited to try because I’m always looking for products that can add volume and lift but unfortunately it didn’t work well for my hair type. I have very thick, heavy hair and instead of giving me more volume, I found that it made my hair feel even heavier. I used it a few times hoping I’d get a better result with a different amount or application method, but each time my hair felt weighed down rather than lifted. It also didn’t give me the root boost or fuller look I was expecting. I think this product might work better for someone with finer hair but for my thick, heavy hair it just want the right fit.

But, if you’re after more information about what it is and why you need it in your life, then keep reading! This is for babes with flat hair that need a lift in a flash! This uses collagen peptides to help increase the root lift, creating more body and volume, and a slightly grippy feeling. This is also meant to help keep your hair fresher and cleaner without any residue, kind of like dry shampoo, but without the white cast that we can get from some dry shampoos. This has a fruity fresh scent, and I love how it makes my hair look!

Smells great, but didn’t work wel for me

I have a lot of trouble with my hair falling flat after a few hours of use no matter what products I use and sadly it’s the same for this one. It gives my hair great texture for a couple of hours before it falls flat again even when I tease it. The plus side is that it had a pretty nice scent to it though and my hair felt nice with it in, not dense and icky, I didn’t feel like I had to have an immediate shower once I got home sort of thing. I tried it with fresh washed hair, and also hair a few days post wash and the result was the same really. Not for me but then gave it to my SIL who said it’s working great for her!

Definitely adds volume

My hair is very thin & no bounce. I used this in between hair wash (day3) to see full effect. It was easy to spray and has a very nice yet subtle smell. Not overpowering like other dry shampoos. Sprayed at my roots and massaged as directed as well as flipping head over & sprayed. It definitely added oomph and lifted my roots. My hair got white a bit of volume. The spray doesn’t leave the hair feeling tacky and didn’t leave any white residue. No itchy scalp too. All in all a great product. Taking a star off as the back of my head still showed a little oiliness. Maybe not go 3 days before using would have been better.

Good bye dry shampoo

I was expecting this to be the same as dry shampoo but I happily binned my dry shampoo and replaced it with this. This smells divine and is not at all overwhelming. The spray itself goes on and does not make my hair feel greasy or heavy.
Ive been using it as a refresh on my hair wash days and even when tying my hair into a ponytail it keeps the volume and I dont feel like my hair is dirty. It washes out without leaving any build up and doesnt make my hair feel dry.
Would definitely recommend this as a replacement for dry shampoo for anyone looking for a product to add life back into hair thats feeling flat.

Bottle of greatness

First of all the smell is amazing, it is like you freshly washed your hair which is a plus because most sprays have a headache inducing smell but this is very pleasant and everytime you move your hair, the smell wafts through to you and everyone close to you. The volume spray even acted like a setting spray on my hair where by it made my hair stay voluminous throughout the whole day. I was also able to put it in a pony tail which made it look very full and thick. There was no oil or texture once it hit the hair, it just felt like a cleanse spray but also at the same time, making the hair feel big and thick.

Collagen Lifter Volume Spray

Wow, I didnt have high expectations for this, as I have not found anything that has worked without leaving my hair greasy or a mess. It instantly lifted my hair with a few sprays and rubbed in, I was extremely happy. The smell is incredible with Pear, Citrus and Rose scents and lasts all day. I even had someone ask me what was i wearing, they thought it was a body spray or perfume. My hair felt fresh and alive again, it is great to use between washes for that added lift and fresh feeling. It isn't like anything I have used before. It didnt leave my hair with any residue or white spectacles, it just fwl light and refreshed. I would purchase this again in a heart beat. Thanks L'Oréal.

Great Product

This product is great for giving your hair that extra boost of volume, whether you’re heading out for the evening or simply refreshing your hair first a day in the office.
I found the spray incredibly easy to use and the nozzle delivered a fine and even mist that distributed the product evenly. The scent was pleasant and the formula left my hair looking shiny and smooth without feeling greasy and wet, unlike similar products I’ve tried from other brands in the past.
The product gave my hair a noticeable lift and added volume before a night out, which I was impressed by! I am looking forward to testing this product out on my European holiday to see how it is with my hair overseas.

Volume Spray

I have fine hair so I thought this would work great on my hair. I first tried this on oily hair but it didn’t give any volume at all. The second time I tried was the day after I washed my hair. There was only a slight bit of volume. The smell of it is nice but overpowering if you are sensitive to scents. The smell/mist of the product lingered in the air similar to dry shampoo. The spray nozzle is slightly tilted up so you need to hold it a little awkward to spray straight on the hair. Not sure why it was designed like that. The way my hair felt after, was as if I needed to wash it again.

Hairspray / Dry Shampoo

Overall it is ok, but I think I was thinking this would be more like a dry shampoo. I used it on my hair a coulle days after washing to test it as I would a normal dry shampoo. I did notice a small improvement in oiliness and definite improvement in volume. My hair was definitely feeling flat prior but once I applied the product as per directions it did provide volume to the lengths.
Not sure if I would personally buy for myself but would definitely recommend to my mother in law as she does her hair every day and this would be a nice balance insteaf of using regular hairspray every day

I've been really happy with the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Collagen Lifter Big Hair Day Volume Spray. It gives my hair an instant lift at the roots without feeling sticky or stiff, making it look fuller and more voluminous while still feeling soft.
It's also great for those days between washes when my hair starts to fall flat. A few sprays help refresh my style, add body, and make my hair look fresher without leaving any white residue. The scent is pleasant and not too strong.
The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is that I found the volume fades a little by the end of the day. Overall, it's a great product for adding quick, natural-looking volume and extending the life of your hairstyle between washes.

Over the years my hair has sadly thinned and definitely doesn’t have as much volume as it did before. I found the Big Hair Day volume spray from Loreal to work incredibly well to give that extra boost and lift. A clever spray that not only lifts but also helps your hair look fresher as well as adding shine and softness. Simply spray on dry hair (clean or even between washes) and enjoy a nice freshen up boost to your hair.
The spray smells nice and adds a pleasant fragrance to your hair. The spray nozzle is quite strong but it sprays very accurately so it goes exactly where you want it. I highly recommend this spray for anyone looking for this type of product and I will definitely continue to use and buy.

Excellent for busy people

As a very busy mom with full time job, full house of children and pets I was looking for something that will help my hair to look great without washing them every day. Living in a dusty environment and having a construction job does make my hair look dirty next day after a wash. I was very frustrated that I have to wash hair almost every day. This refreshing volume spray is a God send! All I need to do is shake bottle, apply to my roots and massage and voila- hair smell nice and stay fresh for extra one or two days ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hair care range. The shampoo is extremely light but lathers easily and deeply cleans the hair. It smells lovely and helps the lifting process. The conditioner is extremely thick and you can almost see the fibres in it, it's stringy. But coats the hair easily and conditions the hair.
The root lifter spray is amazing at giving the roots volume and lift. It targets the roots and really does give instant volume. It is also great for a refresh on the hair after a few days.
Overall, these products work great together, my hair had volume for a few days without having to add more product. They smell divine and do exactly what it says on the tin!

Ok, let's go ... Yes it works and it holds really well for about 3 hours. So unless you're willing to take the can out with you so you can refresh throughout the day or evening then this product isn't for you. I do like the can. I love the purple colour. The 3 hole applicator is great as it evenly distributes. I used it on washed and unwashed hair and I found it did work better on the unwashed hair and also kept it from not getting oily, working like a dry shampoo. Overall, it is a good product, if you're going to be out for 3 hours or less.

This is an easy to use spray that lifts at the roots to give flat hair a quick refresh. It helps my hair look fuller with more volume .
The spray smells good, doesn’t feel sticky and leaves no residue so it’s still easy to brush my hair.
I wanted to extend the time between washes and the spray certainly helped, the front of my hair looks flat the day after washing and after using this the roots lifted and my hair looked like it had just been styled.
It’s quick and easy to use and is something I will add to my regular routine from now on.

Great for flat, sad hair

I grabbed the L'Oréal Elvive Big Hair Day Refreshing Volume Spray because my hair has a tendency to go flat like… 10 minutes after styling it 🙃 and honestly?? It’s actually pretty good.
I just spray it at my roots, fluff it up a bit with my fingers and it instantly looks less sad 😂 It doesn’t leave that weird white powdery look and it doesn’t make my hair feel stiff or sticky, which I hate. It just gives it a little oomph.
Is it giving supermodel blowout? No. But is it saving my second-day hair and making me look more put together in 30 seconds? Yes. And that’s good enough for me.
Definitely one of those “keep in your drawer for emergencies” products.

Excellent uplifting hairspray

I’ve really been enjoying using the L’Oreal Paris Elvive Collagen Lifter Hair Volume Spray, and I think it made a noticeable difference to my hairstyle when I used it. I have long hair and I like to either straighten or curl my hair with a lift at the roots. I found the volume spray definitely boosted my hair at the roots and it provided more lift that made my regular hairstyles look more professional and attractive. The hairspray itself is easy to use and I found a little bit went a long way, and the spray has a pleasant scent. I also love the bright shiny purple bottle and the size is large enough to last a long time which makes it quite affordable too. This is a fantastic product and something I look forward to using to improve my overall appearance.

I try L’Oréal Paris Elvive Collagen + Lifter Big Hair Day Refreshing Volume Spray and honestly I am surprised in good way. My hair usually very flat, no volume, but after this spray I can see lift from roots almost straight away. It is very easy to use, just spray and little massage and done.
Hair not sticky, not heavy, this is very important for me. It feels more fresh, like second day hair looks better, not oily. Smell also very nice, a bit sweet but not too strong.
I see volume but not like WOW salon effect, more natural volume, which I like. Sometimes after few hours it go a bit down, but still looks better than before.

I quite like this product as it helps not wash my hair too often as it can be a chore and is not good for my hair. I find that when my roots start to get oily, after using this product it gets rid of the oil very effectively and also provides volume to the roots, making it look like I just had a blow out. The only thing I didn’t like is the strong smell, pleasant but strong even over the duration of a whole day. Otherwise a good product and allows for increased period of time between washes. I would recommend this product!

This is an honest review. I have very long thin, flat hair and always look for ways to lift my roots. I have tried many volume sprays and powders. The elvive collagen lifter volume spray is very different to any products I have been using before. I really like it! It's non sticky which is amazing and the smell is absolutely beautiful and refreshing. It has collagen peptides which i am a big fan of it. Now to the volume: it most certainly adds volume to your roots and I would say this is one of the better products as its non sticky and gives you a fresh feel. Unfortunately my hair is very long which makes it extremely heavy and almost impossible to give it a lift. I have taken before and after photos and I think the spray has done a good job. I will purchase it in the future!

Big hair day

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the product I have been waiting for to give my hair the volume, and body I have longed for it to have. From the very first wash my hair felt lighter, fuller and volumised. A small amount of shampoo goes a long way and gives me results I have dreamed of for my fine flat hair. The conditioner helps as well and is different to normal condiitoners by not leaving my hair feeling heavy and weighed down. As a bonus they have a nice subtle aroma that lasts in my hair throughout the day. The hairspray really helped finish my hair off and really helped me to feel like salon quality hair. I highly recommend and will definitely be looking out for this on the shelves.

This spray is a great size , making it good value and easy to store as well.
It is very easy to use and the unique nozzle helps to spray it easily and evenly on hair with minimum fuss .
The first time I used this spray in my hair I was saying “wow” as it really works like magic . I am really impressed by how well it worked .
This hair spray does not leave my hair sticky or feeling heavy . It also smells lovely which is a bonus.
This spray works instantly to give hair volume and bounce that actually last . I also noticed when I used this spray my hair felt soft , refreshed and healthy.

Good for a boost

I have very flat, fine hair at the best of times, which I often wear in a ponytail all day for work. This has always meant that if I go out after work, I have no option other than keeping my ponytailed-do.
I was very impressed that the L'Oréal Elvive Big Hair Day Refreshing Volume Spray was able to revive my hair enough after a 9-hr ponytailed day in the car to wear it out for a dinner catch up with friends.
It had minimal scent, and didn’t leave any dry, crunchy or sticky residue in my hair.

Good volumising spray!

This sprays out of the bottle in a fine texture like a hairspray. It does leave a bit of a cast, similar to a dry shampoo.
I found it had an okay scent - not super pleasant, but it faded quickly and wasn't full of artificial sweet scents like others I have tried.
I like the packaging - the big flat top to press down makes it easy to press and more accessible.
This definitely gave my hair more volume all over - I found myself applying it the day after I had freshly washed my hair and getting a few days of extra volume out of my hair which was awesome. It reminds me of using a hair powder in effect but way easier to put on. I'll use this one up and would buy.

Lifting hair spray without the stick

This Big Hair Day volume spray is a nice essential for adding that extra oomph to my thin, flat hair. At first I was worried that it would leave that sticky residue- like the typical hairspray, but I was pleasantly surprised by the flexibility of this spray. The smell is divine and my hair feels not only refreshed, but smells and feels great. I like that you can build on it and the added collagen makes it an added bonus. I could leave my hair for 2 days without having to wash or refresh it.

It was a pleasure to use - the shampoo had a gentle scent which I liked, it foamed up well and gave my hair a thorough clean, and the conditioner was easy to use, and nourished my hair quickly, and also left it untangled and easy to manage and brush afterwards. After drying my hair and styling my hair, I used the hairspray, which was easy to use, had a good, wide spray and held my style, without adding any dullness or stiffness to my hair, but instead, gave it the body and the bounce that it needed. volume but not that refreshing

I’ve recently been in the market for a new dry shampoo, so i was excited to try out Big Hair Day! My hair is fairly thin and gets oily at the roots which meant this should have been the perfect product for me. i only wash my hair twice a week and use a dry shampoo in between for a refresh. after using l’oréal’s elvive big hair day for several weeks, i can happily confirm that it does give volume, although i found that it didn’t do much for my oily roots. so if you’re after a lift and added volume, i would definitely recommend this product. however if you’re also looking for something to absorb oils, this isn’t the best product out there. it has a pleasant smell, and the spray lid is very easy to use - the nozzle doesn’t hurt to press down. the can looks great and a good size, so it will last a while.

Good Volume Boost with Dry Finish

I enjoyed trying the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Collagen Lifter Hair Volume Spray. The spray is lightweight, easy to use, and has a pleasant fragrance. It gives my hair a slight lift at the roots and makes it look fuller, especially on days when my hair feels flat. I also liked that it didn't leave any visible white residue.

I love the L’Oréal Elvive ranges and use many of them, so I was exceptionally excited to be given the opportunity to trial this product.
I have extremely thin fine hair so I’m constantly looking for miracle products and I really hoped this would be one of them. I think it’s a nice product, the spray and coverage is great, it just didn’t give me the body I was hoping for. I do need to be realistic given my type of hair but I just thought maybe I’d get a little more oomph.

Such high hopes but was left deflated

Results of product says Volume in secs I waited 2 hrs and I can’t say I noticed any difference. In fact for a comparison I used it on one side of my part and on the other side I just gave my roots a gentle rub, got more lift on dude without product. Yes it’s easy to apply, a noticed a slight citrus fragrance which was rather pleasant, hair felt natural after application which is a bonus Two star rating, 1 for ease of application, and the other fir the non residue.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Easy to use

I usually a bit sceptical with hair spray. Usually it make my hair turn like a broom. But L'Oréal volume hair spray not like the ordinary hair spray. I start it with give som spray to my brush then finish it with another layer of spray. My hair look volume without ferling sticky and weird smell. My hair still feel so soft but manageable. It give me the extra volume i want. Highly recommended. Thank you Home Tester Club for this product. Definitely must have item.

I have long fine thin hair so was excited to trial this product. I wouldn’t say it gave me a “big hair day” but it did provide me with some lift and volume at the roots and hey anything’s better than nothing when your hair normally sticks flat on your head! The smell was pleasant and the product felt light and non sticky in my hair. I also tried it in my mums hair who has fine thin short hair, she absolutely loved the product, it really gave her volume and lift.

I used it few time - yes it definitely lift your hair a bit and make them " fluffed" but unfortunately it make my hair looks greasy and dirty ( my hair are not very keen on any hair product so I was expecting it). This product will be definitely good for people who needs to refresh their look quickly or on the go- as long as your hair are keen on hair products. Its very easy to apply- just follow the instructions on the packaging which is explained very well.
