Age Perfect Le Duo Skin Firming Serum

I purchased this product. The lid mechanism broke off and I couldn't put it back on. No dramas I thought then I looked and realised the total lack of product. The package is fancy but it is misleading. The product itself was blah.

I used the serum on two mornings and everything was good.
I didn’t use it today as I was going to get my face waxed.
After some waxing on upper cheek area, the beautician asked if I’d been using anything different on my skin as I’d come out with a red shiny patch.
I mentioned the serum.
She wasn’t sure I should be using it after asking which vitamins it contained.
Has this happened to anyone else? I have like a 2” strawberry mark on my face still.
Hopefully it’ll go.
Really wanted to use this product too after such good reviews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm enjoying using this serum, I have sensitive skin which can be reactive but I haven't had any issues with this. I find it moisturising but think drier skins might need a bit more. It's perfect for daytime use for me under a light moisturiser. I don't think I've been using it long enough to really notice any improvement however it feels a lot like a much more pricey serum I usually use so I'm confident it will perform similarly. My only issues are with the strong scent which although dries down quickly, seems unnecessary and the amount of plastic in the packaging, it seems excessive to me.

Le Duo Serum is very different from my usual serums, in the fact that the bottle contains two effective serums which pump out together and mix on the skin. One side contains a collagen Peptide booster which firms the skin and reduces the look of wrinkles, and the other has added Vitamins B3 & C which makes the skin more radiant. This has nourished and brightened my skin, and I love the immediate cooling and refreshing sensation when applied. A great addition to the Age Perfect Range.

My skin has been a little dry recently do couldn’t wait.
The fragrance was a pleasant albeit a little strong but as you only need a little, once on your skin, the smell dissipates.
Straight away my skin looked brighter and the serum soaked into my skin really quickly. Can’r wait to keep using it.

Sadly the pump on the bottle I got did not work so I had to decant it into another pump so that I could get the full benefits of the product, this is the only reason I have given it 4 stars but overall a brilliant product.

The packaging and presentation of the dual pump dispenser looks fab on my dressing table and makes it feel like a luxurious beauty experience when I use it. Love the combination of textures which somehow work perfectly together - it’s like magic!
After literally two days use my skin is already instantly feeling soft, supple and more glowy on application & trust me it takes a lot for me to compliment my own skin!
Love this and can’t wait to see the effects when I’ve used it for longer

The dispenser looks great and the difference in colours allows me to see both creams dispensed. The serums feels amazing on my skin and melts beautifully. This works on the first day of using and my skin felt hydrated instantly. The Collegan Peptide serum (white) and the Vitamins B3 & C (gold)combine when they are dispensed. I adore using this every morning. Due to the serums being good for the skin, it gives a perfect base to apply makeup! My skin looks amazing. I highly recommend this serum.

First of all the packaging is really pretty and the pump is easy to use, squirting both sides out at the same time. It smells divine, and is easy to rub in, absorbing quickly with no residue. I usually wait 5 minutes before applying moisturiser, and there has been no pilling of the product which is another bonus. I have only been using for 1 week so can’t comment on it reducing the appearance of fine lines, however it leaves my face baby soft and looking and feeling healthy.

I love the idea of combining two beneficial treatments in one dispenser. When I combined the serum I saw that it became a gold colour, which gave a golden hue to my skin when applied to my face. I have only been using the Serum for a short period of time and I’m fortunate not to have many wrinkles, so I cannot comment on the aspect that the serum reduces wrinkles. My skin felt moisturised and brightened after applying the serum.

I actually like the fact that it is basically two products in one bottle. Collagen Peptide Booster Vitamins B3 on one side and Vitamin C on the other.
The is a very slight scent which seems to dissipate when the combination cream is applied to the skin. It's a lovely soft scent.
I honestly believe I could tell the difference after using this, within 24 hours. I know for sure that my skin felt so soft and smooth, it was amazing. My facial skin stays soft all day, and looks refreshed, IMHO. I also apply it to the neck area.
Try it, what have you got to lose besides tired looking skin ! I love it personally, and would recommend it highly.

Unfortunately the pump section was broken during shipment so I haven't been able to fully test the duo aspect of this serum. But I have been very impressed by the brown coloured section of the serum (thankfully it hadn't all leaked unlike the white section had). My pores look blurred and my complexion is evened out. I will definitely be buying this to try out the full duo effect as the solo one has impressed me significantly. It's not cheapest serum on the market, but worth a try when on offer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I do like the dual delivery system of this but not sure if it's necessary to separate the two serums within or if it's a stylistic/design thing. You do have to press the top fairly evenly in the centre to ensure you dispense equal amount of product from both sides which may be an issue for some with disabilities, etc. The serum itself was a nice texture that settled in to the skin well, highly fragranced though which may not suit all. Too soon to say its had an effect on wrinkles and firmness but looks promising so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this serum for a little while now, but not long enough to see the effects promised after 4 weeks - but honestly I’m not noticing any potential difference in fine lines etc, and I would have expected some progress by now! However, it’s still a nice enough serum. It was a little difficult to get the hang of dispensing both liquids equally and it’s much more perfumed than I usually like in a facial product. It’s not bad though & I’ll keep using it for now see if it can produce the promised results on my fine lines!

Two serums contained in a unique dispenser it looks high end! And I can vouch it feels it too, but this is one serum I intend to continue using, it is so lovely. Containing an oil and cream that, after priming the pump, mix alongside each other to blend onto face. I started with 2 pumps that covered my face and neck but even after a couple weeks I'm just using 1 pump and following with my usual Age Perfect day cream. My skin has never felt so soft and nourished and I am delighted with the results so far. There isn't a discernible fragrance that I have noticed. Absolutely recommend this gorgeous product and hope it never gets discontinued!!

I've tried quite a few serums in the past but this has two, that once you’ve pressed for a pump comes out together. Once I'd cleansed my skin I applied this to my face and I didnt need much at all to cover it. It has a nice texture to it and didnt leave my skin feeling tacky. It did look a lot brighter though and I'm keen to see how it fares over time at improving my fine lines.

The serum comes out separately when you press the pump, and then merges together as you apply it to your skin. It is very easy to apply and absorbs quickly and easily into your skin. It left my skin looking more radiant and with a better texture, and also my skin felt soft and supple to the touch. I have used the serum now for 2-3 weeks and can definitely see an improvement in my skin. I would recommend this product completely.

I read that you should see some visibly signs I think within a week and I'm not joking when I say I can see a change in my skin! My fine lines around my eyes are barely visible now (I'm 48 and have fine lines, texture and dry skin)! My smile lines have also lessened too. I love the silky feel it gives to my skin without feeling greasy. I want to say my skin almost feels like I've putt powder or talc on it. It's so smooth. I like the fragrance which is light and how it wears under my makeup (I only use this in the day time and a different serum at night). Over all, I really love this Duo serum and would definitely repurchase. I'm hoping they bring out an eye serum similar or even in same range (I have been applying this all over my face though).

I thought it might be a bind to get it out of the bottles and mixed but it is easier than most serums that I have used as the pump action delivers exactly the right amount. A lot of serums leave my face slightly dry but this this one does not, and it is not cloying or greasy either. I haven't yet seen any tangible benefits but my skin feels better after using this once a day for 5 days, it feels less tight and much smoother.

I’ve only been using for about 10 days now but my ageing skin looks better than it has done for ages and has definitely started to reduce the lines around my eyes.
The duo bottle is great and disperses even amounts of both cream and oil.
An added bonus for me is that I don’t get spots like I do with a lot of oil serums.

The formula is super light and absorbed quickly leaving no sticky residue. The only criticism I would have is that the fragrance did have quite a scent of alcohol on it which I found a little off putting and if applied to skin that was not quite dry enough (after cleansing) I experienced seperation and balling of the serum..but otherwise I was impressed with the results!

When you depress the top this “cleverness” dispenses the same amount from each chamber into the palm of my hand and it’s ready to apply.
It’s a dream to apply and it goes on like silk with no stickiness whatsoever and is instantly absorbed. So impressed as the effect is immediate radiance – this is the best serum I have ever used

It looks expensive, and even smells pleasant, so I’m enjoying using it morning and night after cleansing. Only downside was that the brown part of this duo gave up working for a couple of days and being a sealed unit, I couldn’t see how to rectify this fault. I used a tiny pin in the end, and it’s now working again. Otherwise, a lovely skin booster.

Just the right amount is dispensed with one pump. Nice light scent, not overpowering. Feels lovely on my skin. I like to leave it to sink in for a few minutes before applying my daily moisturiser and find that I need a lot less moisturiser. It's amazing how the dispensing bottle works to get just the right amount of each serum so that there is enough to mix together and spread evenly. It's quickly absorbed too. Within hours of using it you can feel how soft your skin is. I've used it for a few weeks now and I have started to notice that my wrinkles are not as obvious which boosts my confidence greatly.

My issue is with the packaging. First for 30mls it's a massive "bottle" - it seems a lot of style over substance - I realise it's trying to show the two formulas but I'd rather have something a bit smaller. Pumping out the serum it doesn't come out that nicely, it leave residue on the nozzle which then smears all over the lid. Honestly there should be a better way of dispensing this

It feels lovely on your skin and I actually noticed very quickly that my skin is firmer along my jawline and the fine lines by my eyes are less noticeable. My skin also feels very nourished and soft and it looks more radiant.
The pump container is easy to use with no mess and the two serums come out evenly each time. You only need to use a couple of pumps for every application of the serum as it spreads very evenly and easily on your skin. It is not oily or sticky and just feels comforting and caring and I like the light fragrance and silky texture of Le Duo. I have been using this every night and I promise you I have noticed a difference and quickly too, I am very pleased with this fab serum.

The L’Oréal Duo Serum boasts an impressive blend of ingredients, making it a standout product.
