Admittedly my skin sits more on the dry side of things at present although I do have an oily forehead. This mattified my skin really well, so I feel for those who are really oily it would work wonders. I do prefer more of a glow with my moisturiser and you won't get that with this, however in the winter when I prefer a heavier base on my skin this will work wonders. My pores definitely looked smaller. My skin felt quite hydrated, so do not think with the cream you won't get. It just removed all traces of oil from my skin. My husband who is very oily has taken to pinching this from me and using it - he loves it!

I really didn’t know what to expect from a product labelled “gel” until I researched it and learnt that gels have a lower oil content and are a water based lightweight formula designed to hydrate the skin. This gel contains hyaluronic acid which is a humectant and humectants are capable of capturing water molecules in the epidermis so making it very effective at hydrating. My skin is definitely hydrated and has noticeably plumped up which was surprising as it doesn’t feel like a “normal” moisturiser – instead it feels really light and quite watery .. However as it really does work I have embraced this “gel”

It is a thin cream and feals lightweight on my skin. It absorbs really well and has a lovely scent to it too. My make up seemed to sit better on my skin after applying this cream and it didn't cause it to slide off either. I'm looking forward to seeing how much it reduces the appearance of the pores on my nose and chin after continued use. Overall a very nice facial cream from L'Oréal.
