Shine bright!

I was excited to trial this as I have never tried a vitamin c/salicylic acid combo product before.
The first thing I noticed was the smell, it is very fragrant, which is a great wake up for the senses! The consistency felt lush on applying and it absorbed ok, not great. I did notice a slight stickiness that I don’t general enjoy when it comes to skincare – so 1 star removed for this reason. On the plus side, I have noticed brighter and clearer skin as the weeks went on so this has negated the stickiness issue, my pores also appear smaller on my cheek area. I would recommend this to others looking to improve their skin texture and appearance.

Made my skin feel so smooth

I liked this product. It's very lightweight and the good thing about it, is that it absorbs quickly into my skin, and I don't get left with any greasy kind of residue. It really gives my skin a boost of hydration, and it works well even after foundation is applied. I have this (I think you'd call it) age spot on the side of my face and it was a lot darker so I think this helped with that. I don't feel my skin looked radiant like advertised but I still like it. I would use this again when mine runs out as I get dry skin and when using this product I don't feel that "tight" feeling of dry skin so that alone is worth it to me

Vitamin C newbie!

I was excited to try the L’Oréal revitalift vitamin n c serum as it’s my first time trying one. I’m a newbie to this serum and it did not disappoint. The vitamin c serum was also quite a game changer and really improved the brightness and texture of my skin. I use every morning as part of skin routine and make sure to use sunscreen also. The serum is very light and absorbs into my skin quickly without leaving any sticky residue.My skin texture has definitely improved leaving skin very refreshed and dewy! I have really enjoyed using this vitamin C serum as as part of my anti ageing routine and feel it has most definitely improved my skin. Will continue to use in the future!

Bright and glowing

I've been using the L'oreal Revitalift Laser Pure Retinol Serum and Clinical Vitamin C Serum consistently for a month and I am so stoked with the results!
The vitamin C serum is a winner. Not only does my skin feel brighter and more radiant, but I've seen improvements to the tone as well. The serum was really easy to use, the texture was fine and worked itself easily into my routine. After a month of use, my skin feels noticeably brighter and I'm keen to keep using so that I can retain this glowing effect.
Together, the serums have upped my whole routine. My skin looks healthier than it ever has before!

Didn't seem to make a notable difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a few weeks now and haven't really noticed a difference in my skin. Perhaps after a longer period of time it might but currently im not sure it's worth it.
The fragrance is really strong and not that pleasant. Reminded me of men's deodorant... if tester it either smelt citrus-y or had no smell at all. The consistency of it was nice and it spread well, although the directions say 2-3 drops and just one squeeze of the pipette emptied it and that was enough for my whole face and neck.
It dried nicely but didn't react well with either my other skincare or my foundation as i noticed my makeup piling after a few hours.

Very excited to try this vitamin C serum! it has a slightly thick and silicon-feel texture, fragrance is there, but not too strong. It stays under my makeup very well and stops my makeup (foundation) from yellowing (oxidating) over the day. I suffer from acne breakouts, and this serum is very effective at stopping pigmentation staying after the acne is gone. I experienced a slight sting (not painful) in the first few days, but it only took my skin a few days to get used to it. Overall I'm very happy with the serum!

Reduces fine lines and pores

I love a great vitamin c serum and this L’Oréal Paris recitalist vitamin c serum was a winner for me. I noticed a difference in my skin within the first week, my fine lines were less visible, so were my pores. My skin looked brighter and less tired and I definitely looked fresher and my skin glowed. The serum is easy to use and sinks straight in, I don’t need to use a lot for great results so it’s quite economical as it lasts for a long time. It has helped a bit with pigmentation but I noticed more of a difference with reduced visibility of pores and fine lines. This serum absolutely makes me look more youthful and I will be buying it again

Didn’t work for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I loved it as many people I’ve noticed have! It’s affordable it is a nice consistency and spreads out really easily. On the other hand I highly dislike its scent and the dropper doesn’t work really well, I have notice the dropper issue with some other L’Oréal products too. In combination with my other skincare steps I’ve noticed this product after a few minutes starts gathering in certain spots around my face and almost looks like it groups in little clumps. It is definitely not a product for me but read the other reviews as more people have good experiences so I am not sure of it just doesn’t mesh with other products I am currently using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Revitalift Clinical Vitamin C Serum is luxury in itself. The elegancy of the bottle and the way it stands. I love the pipette tool which helps me pick up the right amount of serum required with no wasteage. The serum itself is thick in texture however once applied onto the skin its so delicate and light. The serum absorbed into the skin in seconds I like the fact it doesn’t leave a greasy residue and your skin is instantly lifted and the glow and radiance from your skin is lush. The serum in itself was very hydrating and gave my skin a smooth canvas to apply my moisturiser on. I would definitely recommend and purchase purchase this product again.

Actually works and non-irritating

I liked the white bottle (easy to find) and dropper dispensing style of serum. I tried using it day and a night and works well when applied with other products
I had noticeable results on some existing pigmentation and my face looked clearer.
More importantly, it was non irritating as I have found with so many other vitamin C serial I have used in the past. Would recommend trying if you are looking for a vit C that you will get results from in a short amount of time and also very affordable

Great serum with great results

In the four weeks that I used this L’Oréal day serum which I also used the L’Oréal night serum, my face became much brighter and my wrinkles were not as deep around my eyes, upper lip and above my forehead. I would defiantly say that over a longer time and with continued use that it defiantly would keep fine lines away. I did also use a sunscreen daily on my face which has a tint in it but needed to wait at least 5-10 min after application as it would make my sunscreen look patchy,
Once the serum was totally dry my tinted sunscreen went on perfectly.

Brightens but sticky

I was really excited to try this vitamin C especially in winter I find my skin to be very dull, I really liked the dropper feature of the bottle ensuring you use the right amount, it feels very smooth and silky and super easy to apply all over the face I used it in mornings and I really did notice an immediate overall brightening on my skin, I did note that the serum felt a bit tacky and sticky on my face which for no makeup days is ok but on days I applied cream or makeup over the serum I found the serum would cause the products to pull and peel and I often felt the serum sat on top of my skin and didn’t nicely absorb, I loved the brightening effect and the gentleness of the serum but the texture it leaves on my face was a no go for me

I couldn’t wear it as the fragrance they put in it is SO strong I couldn’t wear it for more than an hour without getting a headache. It was so strong that other people could smell it while I was wearing it. Unsure how anyone could properly test this product out because the perfum added to this serum was completely overwhelming. When I did try it, the serum didn’t make my skin feel that great, almost created a thin film over the skin following application. Would not recommend this product. There are much better vitamin c serums and creams on the market.

Thankyou for choosing me to test these two wonderful products. Together they work well and made improvements that were noticeable on my face within the first week of my trial. The only thing I found was that I needed an extra moisturiser used on my face in the morning after I'd use this product, compared to not needing it after I used the night serum. My face was beginning to feel more dry then it would usually had been pretty much straight after using the morning serum. Great products tho and it was a pleasure to had got to trial these products.

Wonderful brightening serum

I have used the Revitalift vitamin C serum for 4 weeks now along with the Revitalift Retinol serum.
I have tried vitamins C serums in the past but has many breakouts so I never liked it.
Although Revitalift vitamin C serum has a high concentration of vitamin C, but it was gentle on my skin and has given absolutely beautiful results, and made my skin look brighter and smoother texture, it also has salicylic a is and vitamin E which all work together to help with enlarged pores and lines I have on my cheeks and T zone.
I would highly recommend this serum and the Retinol serum to be used together for a beautiful looking skin.

This serum in particular contains 12% vitamin c which is a high concentration. You really do notice this after a few weeks of use as my skin texture has improved for the best.
My skin is looking great. It’s brighter and seems overall a lot healthier.
The application is super easy via the dropper. When you apply the product it can feel a tad sticky, however the formula soon absorbs and my skin is left soft and nourished.
I will continue to use and purchase this product. I am excited by the results so far.

Face visibly brighter and soft to touch

I noticed a difference in brightness in my face within the first week, particularly in natural light.
The product wore really well under sunscreen and makeup products and felt really lovely both on the skin and when touching the skin, with a feeling of being hydrated and soft to touch.
I didn’t notice any visible difference in the appearance of fine lines, pore size or congestion.
I also found the product difficult to use with the dropper applicator. I am not sure if it was due to the consistency of the product, but it was hard to get enough into the dropper to use. I often needed to go back into the bottle several times to get enough product to cover my face and towards the end of the test period I ended up pouring the product straight from the bottle.

Pleasantly surprised!

I was a bit sceptical of the promises/claims being ‘skin 2x brighter
and pores are 2x less visible in 4-8weeks’ but I can honestly say my skin has not looked so good. I have been so conscious of my deepening forehead and eye wrinkles in the recent years so since using these two products I can’t believe the difference. My skin also has a lovely glow too if (I attribute that to the Vitamin C?). The products feel so velvety on my skin and leave it feeling hydrated day and night. I will certainly be continuing to use these.

I found this to be super nice and didn't make my skin feel tingly. It has a lovely consistency that sinks into the skin beautifully, but doesn't feel drying. I apply this before sunscreen and it doesn't cause my sunscreen to ball up or anything, which is a massive plus!
I noticed a difference in my skin at first, my pores looked a little smaller and I noticed my dark spots from acne reduced. But I don't think I saw much improvement after that. I'll still keep using this product and will repurchase it as I'm sure my skin will continue to improve the more I use it.

Effective and easy to use

I started using it morning and night and have found that my skin has improved in texture and luminosity quite a bit. My skin is more naturally radiant, and I've had quite a few people ask what I've changed in my routine to eliminate some of the dullness I struggled with before.
I found the product's smell strange, and now that I am maintaining results, I will switch to just using it at night. The smell has a strong herbal quality, so it is not unpleasant, but I found it strange. The smell lingered on my skin throughout the day.

Not bad, but not outstanding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Vitamin C Serum for about a month. It is easy to use and feels nice and smooth on my skin. I haven’t had any noticeable changes to my skin as yet, but I will continue to use it as it’s only been about a month. The dropper makes it easy to use the correct amount, though I do think a pump would be best for vitamin C. A had a few pimples come through when I first started using it, but my skin has been pretty good since. This product has been just ‘fine’ for me, not outstanding. I’m not sure whether I would repurchase as yet. I’ll see how my skin is once I’ve finished the bottle.

Serum that fades dark spot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this serum for a month and on the 3rd week of using it, I've noticed my dark spot is slightly less visible than before! It might not make the dark spots disappear but it certainly did what it supposed to do. The serum glides onto the skin with ease and doesn't cause greasy complexion upon application. It also did not cause any breakouts. Didn't really improve the texture, pores and lines on my skin. Just for the packaging, it is perhaps worth considering making it an airless package or a pump rather than dropper, to minimise the oxidation since this is a water-based formula and in the purest form of Vit C.

Vitamin C serum for daytime

I loved reviewing these two serums, they even came on holidays with me! I noticed results fairly quickly from the Vitamin C (day) serum, my skin definitely looked brighter and more awake in the mornings, I didn'tnoticea masive difference in my pore size however. The Retinol (night) serum was sometimes hard to dispense but by the end of the 4 weeks fine lines around my eyes seemed to have reduced slightly. By around day 5 of the trial I experienced a little bit of irritation and redness under my eyes and on my forehead this occurred again towards the end of my review time; and other skin care products that were previously ok seemed to feel a bit tingly during usage. Overall though, these serums gave some good results and were easy to incorporate into my daily skincare routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum is housed in an opaque glass bottle with a pipette dropper to dispense the product.
It has a cloudy appearance and is a nice consistency which smoothes onto the skin easily. The fragrance is quite a zesty, fresh citrus if you sniff the bottle but once applied onto the skin, there is no noticeable fragrance.
The serum dried down quite matt once absorbed by the skin and applying moisturiser on top didn't cause any pilling.
I haven't used the product for long enough to give my opinion on any long term results after the two week and four week mark but it is a nice serum and I will continue to use it to see if the claims of brighter skin etc. materialise.

I thought this was a great Priced product with 12% vitamin C it’s a great starting level so that you don’t get a reaction. It has a really silky texture and glides onto your skin nicely. The only thing I don’t like was the perfume smell because I don’t believe products I’m putting on my face need to smell nice because This is something the delicate skin of your face can sometimes react to. Otherwise, really good product for the price and the fact that it’s easily accessible at pharmacies and drugstores.

The formula is not sticky or tacky like a lot of other vitamin c serums on the market and layers well under SPF. It also has quite a nice scent, which I really enjoyed, but is worth noting as it may not be for everyone. I suffer from rosacea and this serum didn’t irritate my sensitive skin with daily use (big bonus considering it has added salicylic acid). After trialling this vitamin C for a month, I’ve noticed my skin feels more hydrated and has less visible imperfections. Overall, a great product that I will continue to use.

Great packaging, the size is compact and easy to use and bring a lot travel etc, nice smell not too strong but has a sleight fragrance and feel. I would love to see in time the effects which I am sure will be great. scientifically proven to visibly correct the 3 key first signs of early ageing: uneven skintone, visible pores and fine lines. Hopefully these claims work and help improve some uneven pigmentation I have slowly, and the small lines I’m getting as age hits

Great for those after a glow!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from sun damage, uneven skin tone, and break outs, so when I saw that that the L’Oreal Revitalift Vitamin C Serum is formulated with a high concentration of Vitamin C (12%), as well as Salicylic Acid, I was super excited to try this product. After using this serum twice daily, I noticed even after two weeks a much brighter and even complexion, and overall a dewy glow to my skin that I didn’t have before. I also found that I had less congestion in my pores (thanks to the Salicylic Acid), which is great as I have previously broken out with other vitamin c products, and I didn’t with this one. A great serum!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was at first sceptical because it boasted Vitamin C Serum, Vitamin E and Salicylic Acid. How could one serum do all this?! But I was happy to be proved wrong. It absorbed well and improvement is seen, pigmentation is lighter and skin is more hydrated. It has a great texture because it absorbed into the skin in seconds I like the fact it doesn’t leave a greasy residue and your skin is instantly lifted and the glow and radiance from your skin is lush. Gave my skin a smooth canvas to apply my moisturiser on and even good to prep skin for makeup. I would definitely recommend and purchase purchase this product again.

I had great hopes for this product, but overall I was disappointed and I wouldn’t purchase.
Well, I don’t normally suffer from sensitive skin. I found it after two weeks of using this product - In conjunction with the .2% retinol - I found that my skin would sting when I would apply anything else onto it like other face products creams or make up. I also found that my make up didn’t sit well underneath it and would flake quite soon after application. My make up isn’t heavy either it’s like a BB/CC cream So a little bit bit disappointing that it couldn’t sit well underneath this.
I do think my skin has improved, so I do think perhaps it is doing something but just maybe not suitable for my skin.
I didn’t like the dropper. I found it really useful. It would only ever suck up about one drop at a time.

Noticeable change

There was a noticeable change in the texture and tone of my skin when using this product. The tone in particular appeared much more even. This product does pill underneath other products so you do need to be careful applying makeup over it.
I used this product in conjunction with the "Revitalift Laser Pure Retinol Night Serum" and noticed a great difference in my skin. Looking forward to continued use of these products on my skin and slowing down further damage and aging.

This serum is fantastic. It is super easy to use and I love the convenience of the dropper to apply this to your skin.
It leaves your skin feeling soft and fresh. The Vitamin C gives you that extra boost of radiance and glow!
During the trial period I did feel that this serum made my skin feel and look fantastic. I definitely felt great about my skin when I used it.
My skin felt so soft and makeup was easily applied over the top after it had dried.

Upon opening this project was impressive it was a nice weighted, solid bottle, and had a really lovely orange-esque scent to it. I used this product for a month to see full results and I was less than delighted. There’s nothing wrong with it just nothing particularly amazing or wow factor about it. I didn’t notice any significant difference to my pigment or colouring in my skin but I did see a general glow in my skin and it felt fresh and plump. Perhaps this is better suited for skin types with a more obvious pigment issue and this product may work better but for me it didn’t do much to reduce what was left.

Amazing vitamin C serum

Within a week of using it, my skin definitely seemed brighter and my pores smaller (they've been a sore point of mine for a while). It's easy to use, doesn't have a noticeable smell and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and fresh. I use this followed by my normal daily moisturiser and it's become a key part of my routine. Considering you only need to use a small amount each time, the bottle will last a fair while even though it may seem small. I'm definitely going to continue using this and will likely buy again once I do eventually run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was keen to try out this serum when I received it because I am a long-time user of another very expensive, well-known serum with Vit C, E and ferulic acid and I wanted to compare the two. This serum, with salicylic acid, did not disappoint. It makes my skin soft, smooth and plump and evens out my skin tone. I apply it in the evenings and put on a lot more than just the few drops that are recommended. It is absorbed very quickly and gives a great result. I read feedback from another user who applies it mornings and evenings and I am also going to try that. It's fab, and I will definitely continue using this.
