Revitalift Vitamin C Cleanser with Salicylic Acid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive, dry skin often prone to breakouts of eczema. So any facial wash can be dicey. But I've been pleasantly surprised by this one. It doesn't aggravate my skin, nor cause breakouts or make my eczema worse. It also is good for removing 95% of my makeup (I don't use this around my eyes) and leaves my skin feeling soft and looking good. I do follow up with other vitamin c products (Serum from L'Oreal and their SPF fluid) and find my skin glows when used together. I even like the fragrance (I'm not a big orange scent fan and sometimes that make me feel queasy) and find it light and refreshing. I will repurchase this for sure as one pump is enough at a time so can see it lasting well and its reasonably priced too.

It is kind of jelly-ish consistency which lathers really well and it feels smooth on skin when applying plus you need only a small amount. It cleanses, removes impurities and make-up really well leaving skin feeling so soft. I have mixed skin with oily and dry patches and it can be sensitive to some products but for my surprise the cleanser did not irritate skin even after daily use. The scent is delicate and pleasant. Overall I am very happy with the cleanser and I would recommend it to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I would love this cleanser as it is squarely aimed at someone like me with acne prone skin, but in the event my skin HATED this product. I was wary of it drying out my skin but I’m fact it left it feeling greasy and basically not clean at all. After only a few days using it my skin had a huge breakout and I decided it was best stopping use. I will pass this along to a friend with less sensitive skin and hope they get on with it because I’m not sure it’s really the fault of the product- but very much beware any sensitive skin users out there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really couldn't wait to try this cleanser as ive had a few in the past and they haven't done a thing or they've dried my face etc. The fragrance is lovely and its very lightweight for a cleanser i thought,it was beautiful on the first use and left my face feeling clean rtc but on the 2nd use i noticed afew dry spots and around my nose felt abit tight, for this reason ive had to give the 4stars,ive not used again since then but i will definitely be trying again as it could of been a 1 off that this happened?i would still recommend

Not only does it leave a fresh feeling after cleansing without drying my skin, but it also includes salicylic acid which really helped with my black heads. My skin definitely seems much clearer with less texture, not because the little bumps have completely gone yet but they have definitely reduced. As for the vitamin C I can 100% see how it has improved my complexion. I definitely recommend this to anyone struggling with textured skin or a dull complexion since it’s helped improved mine!

Absorbs into skin quickly and when dried down and fully absorbed it doesn’t leave a sticky or tacky feeling behind allowing it to layer well with moisturizers and makeup. Usually Vitamin C products really sting and burn my face, but this did not do that at all. I noticed just after a few days of use that my skin looked brighter and felt smoother. I quickly noticed how healthier my complexion looked. After a week of use my complexion looked radiant, more clearer and pores appeared a bit smaller as well. I love the fact that L’Oréal’s Vitamin C and Salicylic Acid in it for some added benefits. The packaging is great! I’m so excited to continue to use and see even more results. I would definitely recommend this serum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon first use I was slightly confused as the steps are similar to those when using a face wash, that being said the product foamed up easily and I would definitely say a little goes a long way. The scent was pleasant and not overpowering, I found when applying the cleanser it worked best to apply it in a circular motion. After working it in to my face I found my skin looked brighter and my pores looked slightly smaller. It didn't leave my skin feeling tacky and I was pleased with the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this cleanser to review and have been really happy that I was. My skin feels squeaky clean after using it, but it is not dry. It foams up into lovely little bubbles, proving it's a more premium product (big bubbles usually mean cheap detergent ingredients). My pores do look better, and my skin is clearer. I also love the packaging - lots of useful information on the back, and a click lock lid which is great when travelling. I'll definitely be buying more of this when I run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great cleanser and another brilliant product from the Revitalift Vitamin C range. It has a subtle pleasant scent and a light texture. I liked that it wasn't overly foamy and only a little is needed so a bottle goes a long way! From after the first use my skin felt clean, fresh and smooth without any tightness. After several days I noticed my pores are smaller and more refined. I have been using twice a day for over a week with other Vitaman C products and my skin looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really looking forward to testing out this Revitalift Vitamin C Cleanser as the Revitalift range is usually amazing on my skin.....this one definitely was not! I used it three times, as directed, and it dried my skin out so much that it chapped and cracked, it's taken me a few days to just about get it under control again. A single squirt of the product is all that's needed to apply, so if your skin doesn't react like mine did, it's a good value product.

The fragrance in this range isn’t my favourite, but it’s not bad enough to put me off the products I’ve already tried and liked, unlike with this one; I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a face wash and I’m smelling it more during application, but to me (and I’m still affected by covid so some smells are still iffy, so others may have a completely different opinion) it smells like burnt rubber. My other personal negative is that it was a little too harsh on my skin, and I’m not particularly sensitive, but there was a definite redness, hot and uneasy feeling a few minutes after I’d dried off.
However, I’ve still given 3 stars as it was really easy to use, you don’t need to apply much so it will last a decent amount of time, and my face did initially feel really clean and fresh.

Easy to dispense the product and it smells fresh and great which is a plus (unlike the vitamin c serum which smells off). It foams nicely and the fact that it has salicylic acid means it also acts an exfoliant, it definitely helps with with making a skin feel more brighter.

It matches well with other rivitalift products such as the vitamin c serum and the SPF.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found this cleanser to be working well on my skin. It fits well in my double cleanse routine. Takes make up off and even mascara. It left my skin feeling clean but a little dry. It did not sting my eyes when taking mascara off. Afterwards my face felt ok. It has a faint cirtusy smell. This has SLS. I feel like in this day and age giants such as Loreal should be well ahead of the skincare game. For this reason I’m not sure I would buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice cleanser. It’s got a lovely citrus scent which isn’t overpowering. The texture is nice and light but it cleanses really well. I’ve been using it as my morning cleanser. It says it’s suitable for sensitive skin and I would agree with this. It doesn’t feel at all harsh and didn’t aggravate the couple of sensitive patches of skin I have on my face. I use the vitamin c serum and this partners very well with that.

As a person that has always had to deal with open pores and blackheads i look forward to seeing whether this cleanser is a game changer with continued use. I've only used this daily for a few days but i love how nicely this foams up withought stripping my face of the natural oils. There's no obvious strong scent to this product. A little also goes a long way.

I have been using this cleanser morning and night every day and I’m happy with how my skin now looks and feels. My pores have definitely improved, my skin feels smoother and looks more radiant. So overall a fantastic cleanser! I must say too I really love this range, especially the serum and SPF 50+ anti-uv fluid which work well together with this cleanser.

The cleanser has really helped improve my skin texture. The pores around my t zone in particular look less visible.
I'm hoping that as I continue to use this cleanser, I'll see more improvements and it will also help will skin brightening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Revitalift Vitamin C Cleanser is so good to use. It has a handy pump on it to give the right amount needed for the face. It smells lovely and has an uplifting citrus scent. The formula is is light gel and once applied to wet skin it foams up. My skin feels refreshed and gives a deep-clean feeling once used. My skin feels lovely and soft and has a healthy glow to it I highly recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this new cleanser, the bottle is a good size and will last. The cleanser itself is very fresh and smells great. It cleans your skin and leaves it with a fresh plumped and just washed feeling. The directions for use could be better as I was unsure if it was a wash off or to be left on to absorb and had to look it up on line as it said on the bottle to apply and then moisturise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a foaming cleanser this isn’t too drying, however I wouldn’t recommend if you suffer from dry tight skin. Used last night as my first cleanse and a more hydrating cleanser as my second cleanser and no issue. Used this morning as my AM cleanse and was a bit too drying. Scent is also slightly off putting. I was imaging a bright citrus scent but smelt slightly like cheap orange sweets

Doesn’t seem to leave my skin feeling tight either after using it which is always a bonus with a foaming cleanser. Not sure if it’s making a difference yet to the condition of my skin but I’ll carry on with it as I’m always up for trying something new!!

This is a fabulous product by L'Oréal that is so good my husband keeps stealing it for his face! You only need a small pump of it to add to a damp face, it foams up and once washed off leaves skin looking really refreshed, glowy and so soft - I didn't even need to apply my daily moisturiser!

The consistency is that of an oil that when you add water to forms a creamy constancy that is like a very gentle foam. Once rinsed off I felt my skin felt both clean and looked Brighter. With regular consistent use I am certainly seeing the benefits.

Has a lovely fresh orange scent to it which lingers in a nice way. I’d highly recommend moisturiser immediately after particularly if you have fry skin as it gives a cleanse and smooth finish. My only comment is that the pump could do with easier twist and slightly longer nozzle

The scent is also very pleasant - nice uplifting scent! Its ideal to be used daily. After using it for a while, I can say that it does have brightening properties. It didn't do anything particular in terms of tightening pores but none the less I would recommend it.

Once rinsed off and dried I have noticed that my skin looks much better than before. It now has a lovely light glow that just looks so healthy.
