Infallible Faux Brow Tint Pen - Soft Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brow tint comes in the form of a plastic tube-pen. There is a small ball rattling inside so make sure to throughly shake it before use so the product is evenly mixed.
I found this brow pen quite temperamental and difficult to use. The ‘prongs’ were spaced too far apart and too flexible like a soft brush so even the slightest extra pressure meant too much of the tint was released.
I also found the tint too watery when first applied.
It lasted well when I practised on the back of hands but didn’t last as well on my brow area which tends to be oilier.
I think I would have preferred a firmer brush with a single point which would work better for the tail of the brows.

Absolute game changer for us with hardly any brows

Unfortunately due to several factors I now have hardly any eyebrow hairs & finding eyebrow products that actually work, are easy to use, stay put & look natural is harder than I thought. However L’Oreal’s Faux Brow is fantastic! I had to write a review as I am so so impressed. It creates such natural looking ‘hairs’ & is very quick & easy to use. Stays put all day too. I’ve found the key to making it work best is to use on a clean, dry eyebrow. This product is amazing! I hope you always make this as this is a game changer.

The two prongs application tip allowed me to create realistic brow hairs. The brow hairs I created were smug proof and withstood water splashes. The Faux pen is useful for enhancing thin brows. It will also help where people have grey hairs in their brows. I haven’t had the L’Oreal Faux brow pen long enough to determine the longevity of the product after application. But I’m definitely adding this brow pen to my make up bag.

Love, Love, Love this pen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought many eyebrow pencils, powders and pens but, until now, none were that successful. When L'Oréal came up with this little beauty I had to try it. I could only get the Soft Black (I would normally use dark blonde). My brows are quite thin and sparse in places and being fair sometimes they look faded. The pen is a good size and, from the weight, I guess it has a good volume of gel. There are 2 prongs that you use to create fine hairs. I'm pretty clumsy when it comes to my brows but with this pen it was a doddle. I am so thrilled that with little effort I have really nice eyebrows. With a fully made up face I think the Soft Black is really good, but I will try to source a colour more my natural brow shade for those days when I don't want to wear make up. I am delighted with this product and will keep buying! Thoroughly recommend

A few strokes are all I need to fill in the sparse areas of my brows. This dries extremely fast. I tried to remove it with water, and I was thankful that it didn't budge. It was easy to remove with the makeup cleanser. I highly recommend it. I love the gorgeous red color of the pen. I will definitely repurchase in the future.

Because it has double tip, my application was messy. Do not use heavy hands or you will look like halloween makeup. Little application goes a long way and it last 4days + before it fades out. And careful using it on skin, because that will be your temporary tattoo. Beautiful concept.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is easy to apply. The applicator is good to hold and manoeuvre and the very fine double tip is a great innovation. I was able to achieve a very realistic natural looking eyebrow line . The problem came when I applied a spoolie to soften the look and it came off with very little pressure. I was left with patches and lumps. This is a good product but I do not have the skill and patience required to apply it.

Received the faux brow pen from Lorealistar UK to review. Having never been able to find a good shade match with any brow product in the past I’m so excited to finally find one that suits me.
It took a little practice to get the pressure right when applying but I got there. This is my new go to product.
I was on a video call to my daughter yesterday and she asked if I’d have my brows done. This made me so so happy!

Those two little things create the most realistic brow hair. I have gaps in my brows and this helps me build up a shape of my brow, and you cant see the difference between the real and the drawn one. The brush ends are very fine and draw very realistic looking hairs.It only took me a minute or two to get the brows I've always wanted- I have dark hair but fair eyebrows. There was no smudging and even after a full nights sleep the brows looked just the same next day. Easily removed with my usual cleanser too.

I have now repurchased this product more times then I could possibly remember, I don't have 1 bad word to say about this product, real like brush strokes, long lasting, waterproof, smudge proof and sweat proof. I will also admit I do sometimes after a long night clubbing jump straight into bed and go to sleep, guess what.... EYEBROWS STILL FULLY INTACT THE NEXT DAY!!!! RUN TO GET THIS PRODUCT.

So this brow pen is a godsend its so easy to apply with the brush tip and fills out and defines my brows. Its waterproof non smudge tint can last for up to 48 hours.
I brushed upwards and then outwards to create the natural looking brow shape and it looks great.

After a couple of attempts I managed to fill in my brows without them looking like a child had drawn on my face. Overall I found the pen quite easy to use and wipes off well before completely drying. After a full day, especially in this warmer weather the brows had faded a bit.

That being said I found it was as easy. to apply as a normal pen and it lasted well. I think application would also be more precise the more you use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a few goes to get used to the application, you only need to apply gentle strokes. I do have naturally thick brows however this helped to fill some of the sparse bits and make them look that bit more fuller. Definitely lasted all day.
I would have preferred a single tip than double, more control over how much I'm applying.

If you are really wanting a perfect look this may not be the right tool as the dual head means you can't do individual strokes but if this is work makeup/a mid week night out then it is perfect for the job

Faulty lid mechanism resulting in drying out

This was the second one i have bought as i thought i had stupidly left the lid off the first one and it dried out, but then i realised it is a flaw in the lid and it just keeps popping off! Therefore will no longer purchase which is a shame as it was quite nice but not chancing lid popping off again and it drying out

Getting used to this one but I kinda like it!

I'm on a low income so I bought this brand thinking it would be reliable.
It is awful.
It either doesn't work at all or too much comes out and only one of the fibre tips works.
It was a complete waste of money.

If you press too hard it can look thick and obvious but with light strokes it is perfect. I find brushing through gives a natural look which lasts all day.
