Trashing product

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The product is trending which makes me believe that it’s only because of paid promotions. My hair feels like straw. No shine infact it stripped the shine I already had completely. My hair is extremely dull. Soo frizzy! And can’t even get a brush through it anymore. I am so disappointed. I researched the tutorials on how to use this product by the book and still ended up completely ruining my hair!!

Ruined my hair!

I used this product yesterday and my hair is completely ruined. It’s dry and brittle and feels like straw! My hair actually looks and feels fried and I’m absolutely mortified. I don’t know if there’s any way to salvage my hair but I’d love a response with why this has done this to my hair (I’m not the only person judging by the reviews) as well as some advice around whether I can save it. Please use this at your own risk.

I absolutely loved the packaging and the colour of the product inside. Pink is my favourite colour! I will say I wanted to wait until I finished the entire bottle before reviewing this. Just using the shampoo alone made my hair feel silky in the shower but adding the conditioner and treatment just made it feel like a slippery dip! My hair has never felt so silky before and I’ll be buying this again for sure! It’s helped keep my hair knot free during the day as well which is a big plus in my eyes as my precious shampoo was drying my hair out and causing damage and knots. Highly recommend for those of you who love pink and want super glossy hair!

Suited for drier hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is just ok. I have blonde coloured treated hair and I did find that it controlled my frizz and make my hair shinier after using.
I found styling to be a bit difficult after using this product as my roots appeared to get oily a lot quicker and I found that my style dropped and look lank throughout the day.
The product does smell nice and the consistency is nice. It wasn't for me but if you have drier, more unruly hair, you may really enjoy using to tame frizz and curls. Again I feel there are better treatment or hair masks out there for me personally that deliver more results and don't leave my hair oily wor with product build up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this with the combination with the shampoo and conditioner. I have to say that this product was just okay. Not saying it is bad, but I did not notice any significance improvement when I used it and without it.
I loved just the shampoo and conditioner along, and the scent of this was great.
It does require a lot of product if you have really long hair (which I did have).
So for such a product, it should come with more product as it does specify you need a generous amount

After washing my hair with the glycolic gloss shampoo and conditioner, I massaged the treatment into my hair and let it sit for 5 minutes. The treatment rinsed out easily and once dried, there was no heavy or sticky residue. Once my hair dried, it felt far more smooth and silky than after my typical wash and also had a fantastic glossy shine. I received so many compliments on how my hair looked after the treatment. I do wish the bottle had a pump as it would make it easier to use in the shower. I will definitely keep this product in my hair routine

Hero Product from the range!

I have been using Loreal shampoo and conditioner from a long time and trying this new range was a great experience for me. I used all the products from this range together for 3 weeks straight, with this lamination just once. This is the hero product from this range as this just added the extra shine to my dull hair. I applied it to my hair after conditioning it and left it for a few minutes and then rinsed it off. Just one more step after conditioner and I got beautiful, healthier and glossy hair, truly amazing! I just loved trialing this range, would definitely buy back and recommend it to my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved giving this product a try I didn’t really notice apart from the other products what its effect was as it’s one product ! But it felt nice to use and it wasn’t a hard process ! It was easy to do which is great. I already noticed an ease and great result using the shampoo and conditioner so I didn’t notice hugely what this product did in addition to those two products. I also still noticed the short term results were great but the shiny and silky feeling wore off and my hair got oily a couple of days after use. I would still say give this product a try and see how it goes for you individually as everyone’s experience may be slightly different

Then i noticed, my hair is silkier and shinier with this product. Probaby helps that i am also using it with the shampoo and conditioner. I would totally recommend it to anybody specially with bleached and frizzy hair like mine! I would definitely repurchase. I also have very oily scalp. Washed hair in the evening before bed and it starts getting oily at noon time but this does not weigh my hair down and helps in prolonging the freshness of my hair and scalp. I am happy with this product range!

Easy way to get a nice shine

And in just 5 minutes it gives your hair such a nice and healthy shine. The texture is nice and silky and easy to apply to hair. Best to coat hair from scalp to ends to ensure an even shine. I’ve definitely enjoyed using this product and it’s great to be able to get the hydrated, frizz free gloss at home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to improve shine of their hair. Tames frizz, adds shine

I was curious to trial this product after reviews praised it and as my hair can be prone to frizz and I quite liked it. Firstly it smells great, a gorgeous scent that lasts. It’s easy to use, just leave on hair for five minutes and rinse out. It did make my dark hair look a lot shinier and it felt really soft, it detangles and it definitely helped tame any frizz. After styling my hair looked smooth and sleek, shiny and healthy. It’s not a bad price, so quite good value for money and it’s packaged nicely. L’Oréal is a great brand and I often use their skincare products but have found their hair products are of a high quality too. I would recommend this product

Great product to revive dull hair!

So, I was a bit skeptical and tried to follow the instructions correctly to give it a fair chance. I applied it from the lengths to the tips of my hair after Shampoo and Conditioner from the same range. Kept it on for 5 minutes as advised in the packaging and rinsed it thoroughly after. I was surprised to see how smooth my hair felt and the floral fragrance was divine! Thanks to the 17% gloss complex with glycolic acid! Glycolic Gloss 5-minute lamination

This 5-minute lamination smells delicious, slightly sweet, yet a little musky.
I used this on alternating washes to make sure it worked. I can safely say I preferred the way my hair dried and responded following using this. It was easier to manage, silkier and dried and maintained a slightly straighter finish.
I did find it felt super silky in my hair, and when blowdrying after wash it certainly seemed to have more shine.
I will continue to use this and the conditioner from the Glycolic Gloss range.

The ultimate speedy treatment

My hair has been quite dull lately as it is coloured and I have had other chemical treatments done to it which has made it dry so I am looking at getting some life back into it.After conditioning my hair a couple of times a week I have been treating my hair with this 5 minute treatment. Once rinsed out my hair feels super soft, much more healthier and silky and once dried oh so shiny! As I colour and have chemical treatments often done to my hair I would definitely keep using this at home gloss range to keep my hair looking and feeling healthy. I would recommend this range to everyone as everyone could benefit from it.

As with the shampoo and conditioner, this lamination product has a nice scent which isn't too overbearing. It is a nice texture and feels really nice when applied to the hair. It washes out without issue, leaves the hair feeling very soft, and doesn't leave any unwanted residue.
My hair does look and feel nice after using the entire range. I would say that it is shinier than when using my regular hair care, but I do find that my hair does get oily a little faster than usual.

Hello smooth untangle hair

I use d this three weeks ago on my very straight fine untreated hair that keeps on knotting when I grow it longer than a bob. I have tried many products and they make little difference. I thought I'd give this a go not expecting much, but it's made a huge difference to my hair. Three weeks later and I am still able to run my fingers through my hair witout knotting. My random grey hairs are lying flat and I don't need to hairspray them flat. This product has been a game-changer in giving me silky smooth hair.

I read up about this product and was very excited to try this product on my hair as I have quite frizzy and dry curly hair. I was slightly disappointed that it didn’t live up to the hype for me.
Some descriptions of this product said it would create smoother, shiner and silkier hair after 1 use and some said 5 but this was definitely not the case for me.
After two weeks of trying this product I found there to be no difference in my hair. I don’t feel like it provided any lamination to my hair or really did anything.
I always found the product to quiet a strong scent which was sometimes overwhelming for me.

Silky hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This glycolic gloss lamination is in a holographic bottle which is aesthically pleasing in the bathroom shelf. The scent is divine and lingers after use. This is the 3rd step out of their four product range. After conditioning, I apply the lamination to the mid lengths to the ends of my hair and let it sit for at least 5 mins. Then I rinse it out, i found that using both conditioner and lamination on the same wash leaves my hair soft but my hair felt heavier with too much product build up. I prefer to alternate them in my wash days instead of using both together. I would definitely recommend it to others with damaged and dry hair as it will make your hair glossy and silky.

No difference really

The product comes in stylish and pretty packaging which looks great in my bathroom. The packaging size is smaller than I expected, I prefer a larger size.
I found it very hard to squeeze out of the bottle and the bottle remained dinted after i had squeezed out the product.
I'm not really convinced this did anything.
My hair felt great already after the conditioner and this felt like it didn't achieve much more.
It did however smell lovely and my hair was maybe a little shinier.
I would not recommend this product.

Great lamination treatment for frizzy hair

I’m not sure what this product is supposed to do mainly because it made absolutely no difference when I used it compared to just using the shampoo and conditioner on their own. Also I don’t wash my hair excessively only twice a week with my usual products so I only used this once as it states after every 10 washes. Although if I was to wash when it gets oily with these products I’d be washing every second day personally which is not what I’d like to do. This may work for others but unfortunately not for myself.

It's very simple to use: shampoo and condition your hair as usual, then apply this treatment, leave it on for five minutes, and rinse off. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really been enjoying using this product, I have quite thick curly hair that can tend to get frizzy so have incorporated this into my hair routine and it’s really made a difference! after I’ve washed it and put the other styling products in I just add a few squirts of this and run it through my hair with my fingers before drying and my hair feels so much softer and not so dry which is brilliant! I’ve also been using it to revive my curls on dry hair - I just spritz a bit of water into my hair and run a few squirts of this through the ends and it really helps with the frizz! It also smells lovely too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this product because it feels like a salon-quality hair experience can be achieved at home.
After using both L’Oréal glycolic shampoo and L’Oréal glycolic conditioner I apply a good amount of the L’Oréal glycolic gloss lamination for about 5-7 minutes then rinse! This product locks in shine and makes your hair feel like silk!!!
I love everything so far from this range and once I finish all the bottles I will definitely be repurchasing. Not only does the whole range smell amazing but my hair hasn’t felt this soft and shiny for a long time!! I highly recommend this whole range!!!

I was excited to try this when I first bought it, but it was a disappointment to me - perhaps because I didn't buy the shampoo and conditioner to go with it.
I didn't mind the extra step in the shower, and it was really nice and smooth to apply, but while my hair felt silky with it on, once I'd rinsed it out I couldn't see or feel any difference when my hair was wet or dry.
I did experiment with using more product to try and get some positive results but it really wasn't my favourite thing for my hair at all.
Quite possibly if I'd used the whole L'Oreal Gloss range I would have had better results.

Makes my hair silky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been trialing the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss 5-minute Lamination and like the other products the smell of it is amazing, one of the best L'Oreal has come out with. I've been using this product like a hair mask. After I shampoo and condition my hair, I've been adding the Lamination to it and combing it through my hair. I usually step out of the shower or just wait a bit and do my other stuff before rinsing. It makes my hair so smooth and silky to touch. I was worried that it wouldn't rinse out properly or make my hair oily, but I've found its been working great! Definitely recommend this.

Amazing Product that made my hair soft and shine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow what can I say the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss 5 minute Lamination and it has worked a treat in my hair. My hair has been very dull and porous from many years of colouring. I loved how easy it was to use and how it made my hair feel so much smoother and it looked so much more healthier. It smells amazing and made my hair shine and have life again. The bottles look really nice in my bathroom and the whole process from start to finish was very manageable. I love that none of these products are tested on animals. Super easy to apply and I let it sit for 5 minutes while I did other beauty treatments. Highly recommend giving it a go if you have dull and porous hair like I did.

The 3 step process of this line is not worth your time! This product made my hair feel dry and like plastic after use so much so I had to do a deep hair mask afterward to restore the moisture in my hair! The after shine serum is the biggest gimmic and is simply filled with shimmer powder to give the effect of shine not that your hair is actually shining from within. Don’t waste your time or money on this line.

My favourite of the bunch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, this was the best product of the line-up. I really noticed the difference it made in the outcome of what my hair looked like post-wash compared to only using shampoo and conditioner. My hair was more obviously shinier, glossier, lighter and bouncier and just felt great.
I also like that you get a good amount of usage out of the product, as you don't need to apply a whole lot each wash (even if the instructions say to apply a generous amount).
I also love that the bottle can be recycled, and has instructions for the user to cut the plastic wrapping off so that it can go in the recycling bin.

Never used a product like this before, I was very apprehensive until I used it!
Love this it adds another layer of treatment and protection to your hair routine it helps the hair come to life.
Paired with the shampoo and conditioner from this L'Oreal Elive range will have you coming back for more and more it just keeps giving luxury treatments at home for a reasonable price you cant beat it!

When used with part of the glycolic gloss range, it did leave my hair smoother both immediately after and for several days afterwards. I love the scent (sweet perfume) but I find the application a bit tedious as you have to wash your hair first, dry it slightly then leave this in for 5 minutes before rinsing it out again - I can see myself not bothering to do this if I'm tired / rushing.

smells nice and feels smooth

I noticed a significant reduction in frizz, and my hair feels much healthier overall. A huge plus is that it is paraben-free (unlike most hair masks) and takes only 5 minutes. The strawberry fragrance is pleasant and you can smell it even after drying your hair. I think this is my favourite of all the glycolic gloss products - if you were to choose just 1, I highly recommend this one.
