Elvive Glycolic Gloss Shampoo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so excited to be trialing this at home gloss treatment. My hair has needed some extra TLC and shine. I was very happy to see that it is sulphate free and contains glycolic acid. Repairing the hair fibres and quality.
It is such an affordable price and very convenient to purchase. The treatment seals the fibres helping with the smoothness up to 10 shampoos.

Pink is my favourite colour, the colour of the shampoo is a shiny pink, with a beautiful fruity, floral scent.

It is a very easy process to use, and I love pampering my hair. So far I am very happy with the results. My hair feels and looks revived, smooth and healthy!

I’ve been using the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Sulfate Free, New Glycolic Gloss Shampoo for my dull, frizzy hair, and I’ve seen great improvement after just a few uses. My hair is noticeably shinier, smoother, and more manageable. The shampoo has a pleasant scent, lathers well for a sulfate-free product, and leaves no residue. My frizz has significantly reduced, and my hair feels hydrated and looks glossy. Overall, it has become a key part of my hair care routine. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with dull, frizzy hair.

I am on my 2nd bottle of this Shampoo, conditioner as well as the additional serum and 5min conditioner. I bleach my hair and try to have that platinum blond hair but with bleaching my hair looks like straw and very unhealthy after a root touch up. This system brings my hair back to life and it looks so shiny and healthy. I have a Video posted on my TT @American.cat.in.aus talking about this amazing shampoo. I have purchased it with my own money, and I think this will be MY HAIR system for a very LONG time. ITS AMAZING I can't say it enough. Have people stop me and ask me what Shampoo I use because of shine and smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed incorporating this shampoo into my haircare routine, especially the scent- it smells oh so luxurious! Another aspect that impressed me was its nourishing formula- the shampoo didn't strip my hair of its natural oils or leave it feeling dry and brittle. Instead, my hair felt soft and very clean after each wash. Possibly due to the product being sulfate free (which is a good thing!), I've noticed that the product doesn't lather up very well so it wouldn't last very long for me (especially as I have long hair). I think this might be a concern as the product is quite pricey and the bottle size is relatively small.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this shampoo! This whole range had the most amazing almost bubblegum(?) type smell that was heavenly. It was very strong and fragrant whilst using it but wasn't overpowering once you are out of the shower and the hair is dry. I also loved how easily it frothed up and made it feel like I was getting a really good clean. The first time I definitely overestimated how much product I needed and adjusted this for the next time. My hair dried quite well and felt nice and soft, especially when paired with the leave in serum. Loved this range! I thought the nice pop of pale pink on the product packaging was really cute and it was easy to open and close the container.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this loral elvive glycolic shampoo for a couple of weeks I found it really weighted down my hair. I have thin bleached hair that is very frizzy. It did leave my hair very shiny but I didn't find it helped much with the frizz while using it in conjunction with other loreal elvive glycolic range.
Also wanted to note that it didn't cause a reaction on my sensitive scalp.
The packaging of the product feels very luxe and high end and the shampoo smells amazing. I wish it could have worked for me.
I will not continue using this product due to the heaviness that it leaves on my hair but I would still recommend if you could get your hands on it to try it out.

I’ve always stayed away from gloss products as someone with thin hair because usually they leave my hair flat and greasy but the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss Shampoo has been amazing at restoring the shine to my bleached hair. It doesn’t foam up much if that’s something that you’re looking for but I generally find that means the product has better ingredients that don’t strip the hair. I recommend this shampoo to anyone who is looking to bring some extra life into their dull hair in between salon visits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn’t give a great clean, almost felt like it maybe started to build up on my hair. If you’re an oily hair girl, you might want to steer clear of this one.
I also didn’t feel softer or any benefits to the overall health of my hair. I have quite dry, frizzy hair and can’t say that I saw any improvement.
I also noticed some damage to my coloured hair (have copper colour) and feel like it made it fade much faster and almost turn yellow. So beware also if you have coloured hair.
The smell is amazing though, I did really enjoy how it left a fragrance on my hair as well. Would definitely buy that smell as a perfume!
Overall it was a very average experience for a shampoo.

The range has a sweet scent and I am here for it. I secretly loved a hair range with a nice scent and this one in particular made me feel like I was at a salon.

After double shampooing, conditioner, 5 minute laminate and leave in serum, my hair is looking it’s best.

The scent of the range lingered for a few days after and couldn’t get over how soft and shiny my hair is.

After a few weeks use my hair feels stronger and it lasts a lot longer between washes.

I will continue to use the range and purchase this after the trial

The sparkly pinky pearly texture of the solution just gives girly pop vibes! So adorably and cute! The entire ranges packaging definitely suites the solution since all the products have similar sparkly textures, except the conditioner.

The packaging gives 2000’s girly vibes. It’s pretty and cute! It’s not a large package so I don’t know if it’s worth the price tag.

The 4 step process is long but the shampoo is one of the quickest steps! The lather was very foamy and the smell was so nice and sweet~ not overpoweringly sweet!

However, I also noticed that my hair gets oily and heavy faster after using the range. This is a drawback that affects my satisfaction with the products. I have blonde colour treated hair that is wavy and frizzy. The did make my hair feel softer and shinier and did control some flyaways and some l. It lathers fine. I didn't notice that it made a difference to styling time.

I would use the product up but I don't think I would repurchase in the future. The product has a really overwhelming fake smell that I didn't enjoy.

I don't recommend the product. I think the glycolic acid claim is a gimmick noting that it's the very last ingredient in the bottle meaning it's probably not doing much as claimed. I also found the size of the product to quite small - 200ml, so not really value for money.

It made my hair look dirty, and if anything, way less glossy than normal. It wasn’t nourishing at all and the ends of my hair felt dry and like they’d snap off at any moment.
I can usually make a wash last 3-4 days but using this shampoo, my hair was greasy after 2 days. It made my scalp itchy and flaky. I had to stop using it because it was making my hair look so bad. As soon as I went back to using my normal shampoo, my hair looked instantly better. This entire range completely missed the mark for me. Would not recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been trialling this range for the past few weeks. The range promises to hydrate and add shine to hair. I do feel like the shampoo does do this, it doesn’t dry out hair and it does feel smooth and soft. The smell of the product is beautiful and a definite highlight. The formula lathers up well and cleans hair well but it’s just kind of lack-lustre. It’s a good shampoo but nothing special. It does say it seals the cuticle and fortifies bonds but I couldn’t speak on this, as I didn’t notice much of a difference in hair health. Overall is a decent product that smells beautiful but nothing special.

It really reminds me of the products they use in professional salons, so it's lovely to recreate a similar experience at home. It does leave my hair feeling very nice and smooth. For reference, my hair is usually quite dry and can be a little frizzy so this has been great, especially during the cooler and dryer months. Gives a very lovely shine as well. I find that the fragrance also stays for a while so that's a huge plus! Overall, I would recommend this product, but I would try to get it on sale which seems like it does frequently so will definitely be well worth it!

I was so excited to receive this bundle and really wanted to love it, but it just isn't for my hair type (bleach blonde/dry/damaged). I have seen some great reviews, but this product seems more effective on darker pigments.
The shampoo wasn't the worst, but it is drying and made my hair feel a bit straw like, I prefer a more nourishing shampoo. It cleansed my hair and scalp well, foamed well and did the job of cleaning my hair though.
The price at $20 RRP seems quite high. Whist this is a step above 'supermarket shampoo', I personally would spend the extra $5 and get a salon shampoo.
I currently have tape extensions in my hair as well, so I was able to test these products on two different hair types. Pic of my hair after using the whole set, airdried. Second pic is after I blew it out. It looks good, but I can get more shine and moisture from other salon products for a similar price.

My hair has been quite dull lately as it is coloured and I have had other chemical treatments done to it which has made it dry so I am looking at getting some life back into it. This shampoo has a light sweet scent and has the prettiest baby pink colour which matches the recycled and recyclable bottle. Once squeezed out the bottle into my hands it foams well on my scalp and feels comfortable while shampooing it then rinses out of my hair and scalp easily. My hair feels clean and refreshed once rinsed without feeling stripped. I have enjoyed using this range and would buy it again, I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wavy hair that is dry and in need of serious shine. I usually have to use a lot of products to get my hair semi shiny and even then the shine disappears after 24 hours.

This shampoo smells really nice and lathers really good on my hair. I double shampoo with a silicone brush to really clean my hair, and this shampoo did not leave my hair feeling oily or dirty. It washed out really easily. Paired with the other products in this range it really made a difference to my hair. I found while using the L'Oreal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss range my hair was shiny and bouncy and looked amazing.

When i opened the bottle for the first time, the fragrance was just giving clean hair, newly washed and fresh! I love it. It's not overpowering. My hair seemed to not get wet easily and products just slide through but this seemed to do its job of cleaning the scalp but not stripping the moisture. I would totally recommend it to anybody specially with bleached and frizzy hair like mine! I would definitely repurchase. I also have very oily scalp. Washed hair in the evening before bed and it starts getting oily at noon time but this shampoo helps in prolonging the freshness of my hair and scalp. I am happy with this product range!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly the saving grace for this product is the wonderful smell (Very similar to salon shampoo smell) and the gorgeous packaging. The shampoo foamed up nicely, it was easy to apply and creates a good lather, however instantly my hair felt dry and went super knotty! It took a while to wash out properly and I felt like I needed to go in with the conditioner really fast. Unfortunately, I wouldn't repurchase, and I wouldn't recommend it to friends.
I like that the bottle is recyclable, I like that it is sulfate-free, and it states on the back that they don't test on animals - so a star for that.

The 3 steps is extremely time consuming and results of the product don’t make the long process worth it. The shampoo left my hair feeling very dry and plastic and the shine serum isn’t what it’s marketed to be. It simply is just filled with shimmer which makes the hair shine not that it’s actually dark shinning from within. I wouldn’t spend my own money on this range.

I was really impressed with the glycolic gloss range - my hair was really dry and frizzy before using and it was smoothed over and felt much healthier after just the first wash. The shampoo lathered up really nicely in my hair. Tested with both air-drying and blow-drying my hair after washing. The scent is really refreshing but not overpowering or overly sweet too.

OMGOSHH - my hair has absolutely loved this range! It's giving my hair that extra life, shine and bounce that it was needing. Not to mention this range smells amazing and I've received multiple compliments on it post wash and blow-dry!

The leave in serum works great with both dry and wet hair, so that would have to be my favourite from the line at the moment.

My hair feels and looks glossier and healthier. This shampoo emulsifies really nicely so only a small amount of product is required. For context I have thick curly hair and find I only need a 10c size (even a little less). The shampoo has a pleasant smell but isn’t too overpowering.
The packaging for this is also super cute and looks great on my vanity. Overall I would recommend this product as the rrp is very affordable and I can see myself purchasing this whole range again in the future.
