[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lipstick goes on like a dream & the shade I’d picked was absolutely perfect for every day wear. It feels really moisturising which is particularly important to me now the harsh winter months had arrived. The packaging looked sleek & overall this was a real joy to use. But… I found the colour didn’t last more than a few hours. If I looked carefully I could still see a tinge of colour after 4 hours, but really to keep it looking good it clearly is going to need regular reapplication, particularly after food/drinks etc - so perhaps not a great choice for a night out, but better placed as a daily lip balm alternative with more zing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried coral shade and I fell in love with it – the shade looks absolutely lovely on lips and it compliments skin tone plus it makes your lips look really full. The colour is intense matte and it stays on for the whole day, eating or drinking does not wear it off, it is truly long lasting. I found it to be very easy to apply, it glides well leaving even coverage. Once on lips it feels smooth and velvety and lipstick feels creamy as well. I found it to be not drying and comfortable to wear. The lipstick is in a stick which looks very elegant and lovely to touch. Overall I am pleased with it and I would recommend it to my friends.

I love the feel of the packaging, and as someone with small lips, appreciate the slimmer design.
The colour pay-off is immediate and indeed intense.
I think the most impressive aspect of this lipstick is how hydrating it feels, as most matt formula's are so drying.
The only negative for me is that it does transfer, despite claims to not. It does not last 16 hours, but again, never found a lipstick that lasts as long as their claims. Not an issue for me, as i just reapply. Overall a great matt lipstick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this says it’s a powder effect it isn’t lying! It’s not remotely matte feeling - feels more like a satin and is comfortable to wear but the effect of the lipstick is just too pretty. It’s versatile in that you can create a blotted lip, smudged lip, crisper lip (with liner) or even dab it on as a matte tint due to that really powdery effect it has.
It packs a punch pigment wise. I wasn’t remotely expecting that!
I’m sure this is new packaging though - certainly a new lipstick bullet style with the thin barrel and thin lipstick. I’ve got to say it feels extremely luxe but I was so sad when I used up the little logo at the end that is etched in! It was so pretty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a big night out in London! The first of the holiday season, brilliant chance to trial a new red lip! The lipstick was a deep wine colour that would flatter most skin types, matte finish it glided on really easily, didn’t dry lips and felt weightless on, and didn’t have the terrible taste of some lipsticks, now for the real trial put it on at 6pm and was out till dawn eating , drinking and kissing everyone, as was it still there at 1am? Yes it was!!! Slightly warn away on the inside of my lip but outside still looked great just a little drier, would it come on a London night out again? Definitely, plus it looks very stylish and being thin will fit in any bag!! Great buy

I was a fan of the previous Matte Addiction lipstick in a traditional tube, and tried this when that was phased out. Love the colour (Rouge Determination), which is rich and long-lasting with a good texture; however, as soon as the wax gets down to about a third or halfway, it comes off the post, sheering off down the sides to leave a horrible mess and rendering the rest unusable. You can't put any pressure on it, not even to use a brush to apply it. I've had two now, with the same problem, due to the poor design of the tube. Sadly, a waste of money, even though I love the lipstick itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all can we just admire the colour of the lipstick its such a lovely nude/rose colour which makes your lips look fabulous. The lipstick texture itself is smooth and thick at the same time which allows a easy spread of lipstick on the lips. The fragrance of the lipstick isn't too harsh upon the lips. The product itselfeft my lips feeling smooth and soft. It lasted hours and didn’t need topping up. Once removed my lips were still soft meaning it was very nourishing on the lips i would definitely recommend and purchase this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the packaging of this lipstick is slim and compact and has a velvety soft feel to the tube, it feels very lush and high end, Great quality. The lipstick is very creamy , super easy to apply and leaves lips feeling hydrated, which isn’t always the case with matte lipsticks, but I’ve had no issues with this. It claims to be long lasting, 16 hour wear they say, but in all fairness I personally think all lip products will need reapplying throughout the day. It lasted a good while on me and I needed to reapply after eating /drinking which is to be expected. This Rosy Confident shade which is like a pinky nude, is suitable for everyone and a great addition to have in your collection. I’d really recommend this one and I’ll be hoping to get other shades too.
