Hyaluronic Acid and Pure Retinol – your win-win regime for younger looking skin

Hyaluronic Acid is essential for attaining smooth, hydrated, and youthful-looking skin. Our L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Serum harnesses both micro and macro hyaluronic acid molecules to replenish moisture in the skin as it penetrates and absorbs rapidly through the skin's surface layers.

Pure Retinol helps to minimize the signs of ageing and renew skin overnight. The Revitalift Retinol Night Serum contains 0.2% Pure Retinol, helping to combat the visible signs of ageing including deep wrinkles, age spots and uneven skin texture.

Together, the combination of Hyaluronic Acid and Retinol in your skincare routine will leave your skin plump, hydrated, smoothed, and visibly more youthful. Are you ready to see a more youthful you?

Can I use Pure Retinol Night Serum every evening?
As Retinol increases the skin's sensitivity to UV rays, always remember to apply a facial sunscreen or broad-spectrum SPF during the day. Your skin will need time to get used to this powerful ingredient too, so if it’s not already a part of your skincare routine, it is recommended to introduce it gradually. Week 1: Use 2 nights per week. Week 2: Use every other night. Week 3: Use nightly as tolerated.
I’m new to Retinol – how do I take the challenge?
Introduce Retinol slowly into your routine, beginning with alternating nights and building up until your skin is comfortable with daily use. In the interim, replace Revitalift Laser Retinol Serum with Filler serum every other night to increase hydration and plump skin.
What if I experience Retinol sensitivity?
If you are new to using Retinol, it is normal to experience some initial redness, tingling or dryness. If this happens, stop using it for a few days and then use less frequently. It may take weeks until your skin builds up its tolerance for regular use. If severe irritation develops and lasts, discontinue use and talk to your doctor. Do not use is conjunction with other Retinol products, and always use SPF in the mornings.
Can I use Retinol if pregnant or breast-feeding?
Due to its powerful potency, Retinol is not recommended for use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Hyaluronic Acid is completely safe to continue using.
Can I use Hyaluronic Acid everyday?
Filler Serum can be used twice a day, in the morning and evenings. Lock in the moisture by following with a moisturiser. We recommend the Revitalift Filler Replumping Day Cream. In the evenings, use Pure Retinol Night Serum for the ultimate anti-ageing day/night duo.
Should serums go before or after moisturiser?
Serums should go before moisturizer. They tend to be lighter in texture than creams and oils, so they can absorb into the skin underneath the heavier products. For the most part, serums should come after cleanser and toner, and be followed by eye cream, moisturiser and heavier products. Some serums may be best applied in the morning, like anti-pigmentation serums, while anti-ageing serums can be effective if you use them before you go to bed. It’s best to follow the directions on the individual product. Learn more about the right skincare routine order.
Can I use more than one serum at a time?
Layering serums can be an effective way of maximizing the benefits of your skincare routine. It allows you to address multiple skin concerns at once, meaning you can reach your skincare goals sooner! However, it’s important to know how to layer serums, and which ones can be used together to ensure safety and efficacy. For example, retinol should not be used in conjunction with AHAs, Salicylic acid, or Vitamin C, as they can cause irritation or other side effects. Instead, save your Vitamin C for the morning! We recommend using a maximum of three serums in your daily or nightly routine, and alternating between routines when serums are not compatible. Apply the most important serum for your needs first, as whichever serum you apply first is going to absorb the deepest. It is also best to wait between 5 and 10 minutes between each formula to allow it to absorb and work on the skin.
