Men Expert Power Age Men Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never used a serum before as I thought it was just a posh name for a moisturiser and not needed. Having used it for the past 2 weeks my mind is changed. It is very easily absorbed once applied and made my skin feel fresh straight away. A very subtle but pleasant smell as well. It works well with the Power Age Moisturiser and my skin now feels much softer and smoother. It has now become a part of my daily skin care routine and will definitely be a permanent fixture for the foreseeable future. As I am approaching a milestone birthday this year I'm sure this will help me look a little younger than I actually am.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was somewhat sceptical about this product but actually having used it now I can say I am very pleasantly surprised. The bottle is very tactile and user friendly. It surprised me that just a few drops would be of any use but it spreads well and coverage is very effective. It has a very gentle aroma which is pleasant and by no means over powering. The serum feels good going on to the skin and soaks in very quickly. It is too early to say whether it has any real effect to the skin but I actually feel that it might already be improving things. I will certainly be carrying on with it and hopefully I will be proven right and my skin will appear as firm and beautiful as it used to.

I've been using L'oreal Power Age serum for a month now and am reasonably pleased with the results. It's pretty easy to use although it's hard to determine the correct amount (recommended 3 drops per use) due to the viscosity of the serum. However, upon application you can immediately feel that your skin is tighter. However, I would like to try this longer term to see if it has any noticeable difference to my appearance but so far, so good.

The 30 ml pipette bottle has a nice deep blue design with orange logo. 30 ml may not seem like much but considering you only need 3 drops each use, it lasts ages!
The Serum itself contains Hyaluronic acid which absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t feel greasy. I’ve used it in conjunction with L’Oreal Power age moisturiser on a daily basis and found my skin feels fresh, especially after shaving.
Overall, a good product and time will tell if it really does “Power Age” my skin!

I have used Loreal Men expert power age serum for 2 weeks now and I feel my facial skin is getting better. I can't feel a drastic improvement in terms of wrinkle reduction or firmness, however I believe it might need more time to bring such results. I was not a regular face serum user before, so whichever the product is, it has to work a bit more to bring results on my face. I am focussing on the wrinkles around my eyes, I can see the skin looks more refreshed but I have to give it a bit more time. I will probably comeback and update this review when the serum bottle finishes to assess its real impact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really not sure about this product. You put three drops onto the palm of your hand and apply to the face. It dries quickly and doesn't leave a sticky or unpleasant residue. You can feel the skin on your face gently tightening. You really can feel your face becoming a little firmer. It doesn't burn or over-tighten so at first glance it works really well. After a while it left my skin feeling slightly dry so I felt I had no option but to use moisturiser after every application (as suggested as part of daily regime) but when I use moisturiser it seems to negate all the positive effects. Almost very good.

The bottle looks high end, fancy but I was a little concerned that my toddler might get his hands to it and break it. When using it for the first time, I ended up with 3 big drops for the face. Smelt like a nice aftershave without any stinging or burning. It's ideal to use the serum in conjunction with the moisturiser which could end up being a bit pricey. As for the anti aging aspects, I have noticed a slight reduction in the depth of the lines around my eyes, and this is just after two weeks. I would like to see how much change there would be after a few months. A+ product, definitely recommend

I have always sought a product with the strong effects of a soothing, good fragrance not too choky feel, and at the same time, stops the after-shave effect (bumps) ultimately.
I can say confidently that the Loreal Men Expert Power Age Serum is an exceptional must-have if you truly crave good skin even while you age.
Thanks to the Home Tester Club for the opportunity to try these out, now I have a recipe for my face staying younger, and ultimately fighting my bumps and I need not be afraid each time I intend to have a clean shave.

It feels quite thick when dropping it, so I thought this wasn't going to be enough but it spreads really well, it's more than enough which means the bottle last longer. When rubbing it initially feels cool and refreshing and absorbs really well. Within a few seconds your face feels dry (in a non greasy way), tight and clean. This is a definite thumbs up. I hate the greasy skin feel so this is perfect. After 2 weeks of daily use I have to say that the lines on my face, especially forehead and under eyes have visibly faded, and my skin is looking clearer. I will be continuing to use the Power Age serum for definite.

Overall, this product was easy to apply, was not too oily and felt moisturising to the skin. After a week of using the product I personally could not notice any significant difference, although my skin was already fairly healthy and hydrated. I am satisfied with the ingredients list, but I wish the product wasn't so gendered and that it had the % of hyaluronic acid.

I've always been timid to try men's facial products, believing that we should age naturally. I also don't want to end up like my wife, with the multitude of skin care and eye care products that take over our ensuite. But I must say, I've enjoyed using this product, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleasantly surprised by this product. Firstly nice present bottle. Great clear instructions. Three drops in my hand, then rubbed into my face. No waste what so ever and after two weeks still lots left.. Following shave used before serum and moisturiser, rather after shave cream , just brilliant. Easy to rub into skin, felt fresh and defo uplifted my skin. Dried nicely , at no point did not feel sticky. Also smelt nice, in which my wife commented of positive nature. Over the last two weeks, noticed that feels more smoother and fresher. Would use the product again. Definitely 100%.

It smelt lovely, easy to apply, rubbed in well, and left my face feeling refreshed, nourished and very smooth for the day ahead. Helped a little to smoothen out the lines around my eyes, I'm sure using it for longer than the 2 weeks will get even better results potentially. Leaves your skin and hands slightly greasy after use would be my only negative, but a quick hand wash sorts this and it soaks in nicely into you face, only reason for the 4/5 score. I'd recommend trying it and will keep going with it for now.

Overall the serum did dry quickly without leaving a sticky residue on my skin but the scent was overpowering. I feel they added this “masculine” fragrance to the product to appeal to men but I feel this is what made my skin sting a little on application. I would not recommend if you have sensitive skin. However if you don’t have sensitive skin then it has a nice fragrance but I would still not recommend using skincare products with unnecessary ingredients. Overall I feel my skin felt slightly firmer after application but I would need to use the product for longer to notice any anti-aging benefits.

Well i was a bit sceptical . Now i am not sure if i have been won over and believe the blurb or not. It definitely feels as though the face is smoother. was easy to apply and had the perfume equal to. if not better than other products

This product us hands down the best thing to use nightly as it works alot better....the results are amazing and you can actually notice it unlike the other products that state they will work wonders and actually don't. I'm bummed I couldn't get a before and after comparison

From using the Power age Serum on the first day I could feel my skin getting smoother, and as the days went by the skin had a increased firmness to it, by the 7th day some fine lines and some bigger lines had reduced, and a younger glow was noticeable on my face.

I prefer this over creams. Such a small amount which translates to good value. Without prompt, people have commented I look well, not sure if this has anything to do with it. Doesn't leave any film on face. Not sure what it's like when wet. Creams sting my eyes.

I didn’t find it made a big difference to my wrinkles. It smells nice and not greasy which is a good thing. Maybe a brush to apply serum instead of dropper would be easier. I could recommend this product to try and maybe they get better results than I did.

After applying it for the first time on my face I felt straightaway that my face was firmer, smoother and more stretched. I also like the smell of this serum.

Product was quite easy to use and gradually over a week there is a noticeable difference in your skin texture. Your skin definitely feels smoother. Personally, have not noticed the reduced wrinkles but perhaps that will take a bit longer to notice.

Overall, quite a good product! There's definitely been a general improvment since I started using Power Age two weeks ago - most noticable to me around my eyes, with my skin definitely tightening up and the bags reducing. Smells great too!

Now that this trial is over, I feel that the skin around my face and neck is much smoother and firmer. I don't know if this also helps to reduce the impact of wrinkles, but firmer skin will definitely help in this regard. I've been using the recommended 3 drops twice a day and already noticed an impact (within as little as 2 weeks) & I would definitely recommend this to others looking for a product of this type and quality.

I found the product to be excellent. It was easy to apply. Not oily and instantly obsorbed with no residue left on the skin. Left my skin feeling fresh and hydrated. I will definitely continue to use this product.
