I dye my hair blonde and I also use heat styling tools, so my hair is always in need of some extra nourishment. I currently use a L’Oreal paris extraordinary oil in the day time, so now to have this for overnight too it’s great, as my hair definitely needs it. My hair feels and looks so much more hydrated and less frizzy and I love that it is not greasy. It smells amazing too! It’s easy to apply, on wet or dry hair and you apply it to your lengths only and you just leave it in overnight without rinsing, so it’s a nice and easy way to treat your hair.

I can’t say enough good things about the L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Midnight Serum! My hair has been feeling so dry and dull lately, but after using this overnight serum, it feels like I’ve just left the salon. The texture is lightweight and non-greasy, which is a huge plus because I hate when hair serums feel heavy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is super damaged at the ends ATM I need it chopped off really but I still try and moisturise them with products as much as I can but I think I'm just fighting a losing battle lol BUT some products are quite good including this one, it smells absolutely gorgeous, (bit like a perfume I can't remember the name of) it does actually smoothe my dead scraggly ends overnight, I do use a silk pillowcase which helps too. It's called a serum but it's more like a very lightweight soft cream but feels weightless in your hair and just gives it that extra smoothness, this would be great for frizzy hair too I reckon.

My hair before using this serum was frizzy, dry and dull. After using this serum, I have seen my hair be brought back to life, it has an incredible shine and looks well nourished. This serum really does provide much needed nourishment to your hair. My hair feels and looks silky and smooth with a lot of less frizz. The serum develops a natural curl in my hair rather than frizzy curls.

The serum has a pleasant scent that smells divine and does not feel greasy when applied to your hair. It gave my hair much needed nourishment leaving it feeling and looking healthy and shiny. I was expecting a watery oil based product that often leaves my hair feeling and looking greasy but I was pleasantly surprised as this simply was not the case at all. It is a thin white cream that quickly absorbed straight into my hair without excess or the need to rinse it out. I have very frizzy hair which takes a lot of effort to tame in the mornings but having applied this oil to my hair after washing it the night before I noticed that my hair was much more manageable and less frizzy, and it felt nice and soft too! I like how the oil can be applied to both wet or dry hair and I can see myself making a lot of use out of this.

It was more than I thought, so rather than 2-3pumps for a serum, this was more, around 6-9. Once I’d cracked that though, it gave my looks a real soft and smooth finish without being overly moisturised of becoming greasy, just perfect finished. The was no sign of my hair being greasy the next day either, so this product really does deliver on creating great hair with all the benefits and no draw backs! I will definitely be adding this to my routine from now on. It smells amazing too.

I like the L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Midnight Serum as a hair product. It has a great sturdy bottle, with an easy to dispense pump. The hair oil did not cause my hair to be weighed down, and left it soft and with added shine. It did not effect how hair was styled and kept the ends feeling smooth.

I usually don’t put much in my hair as I have an oily scalp so I was expecting to get an oiler scalp after using this but was incredibly surprised. It smells great and leave my hair feeling amazing it’s not heavy and does not leave an oily residue in my hair or on my hands after use 10/10 recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smells amazing and the fragrance lasts in your hair, so it’s especially nice to use a day or two after washing your hair. It’s very lightweight unlike an oil, which can be a bit heavier, leaving no greasy finish and not transferring on to my pillow. The bottle is huge so it will last for ages and ages, it’s also quite heavy so not travel friendly but can put it in a smaller bottle anyway. It makes my hair soft and tames frizz but I do like to use an oil as well for a bit extra. If your hair is very damaged like mine this might not be enough to nourish your hair on its own.

After having a horrific experience with a salon frying off my hair I will say my hair was the driest it had ever been.
I would put this in right before bed and sleep with a bonnet. My hair definitely felt refreshed when I woke up.

I've tried lots of conditioners/hair masks etc but find that they either don't work or leave my hair greasy. This product is excellent. I applied it to the ends of my hair and spread it upward but not quite to the roots and scalp, covered it with a cotton hair turban and left it overnight. The fragrance is lovely and it washed off easily the following morning leaving my hair conditioned but not feeling greasy or heavy. Best of all I didn't end up with a head full of frizz by midday like I usually do!

My partner and I both used this on our hair and all I can say is wow! It didn’t feel oily on the hair and I woke up with smooth shiny hair. My partner curls really defined even with bleach damage to his hair!

The oil provides shin and assist with de frizzing. My hair does feel smoother after use. It also provides a nice scent to the hair. Would recommend using each night for maximal effect

I put some product into the palm of my hands, and rubbed them together. I then ran it through my hair . I immediately felt my hair softening and feeling better. I couldn't believe it worked immediately! It also made my wavy hair look smoother , with less frizzies.
I plan on using it again tonight. My hair is used to being covered with a hat , all day, and even in the house because it's been quite cold here.

So far I have only used it on wet hair but I'm so happy with it, my hair feels healthier, frizz free and nourished. Both me and my teenage daughter have been using it and we both love it, I have wavy hair and she has straight hair and we have both noticed results since using it. I was worried that with it being an oil it might transfer onto my pillow and cause break outs on my face but I've had no problems at all. As a bonus it has a beautiful fragrance too.

First off I have to say I was surprised as it says it is 'Extraordinary Oil' and for some reason I did expect a more clear oil consistency where it is actually a pump action cream serum. I was not sure how much to apply and as I have a lot of hair I did about half a dozen pumps so a good 50p size lump. I smoothed through my hair and although thought it was going 'damp/oily' it dried within seconds and just left my hair feeling instantly soft and smelling lovely. By the morning my hair was still feeling great and noticeably less frizz!

I bought this due to trying to find something for my dry and brittle hair. My hair is very porous due to past bleaching but hasn’t been bleached on 18 months.

I thought I’d give it a go as it was on offer but it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. It looks just like a facial cream and supposed to be a serum with oils in it. I’ve never known a hair serum to look like face cream, feels like a face cream and I’ve a feeling this exact hair serum is in fact one of their face creams. Maybe they had a big batch left over and they’ve just repurposed it with new branding.

The bottle looks great and did attract me to the hair serum initially. Honestly, this would cost more than the serum itself which isn’t even a serum, it’s a cream!
