Love the smell!!

I love this product! The bottle looks nice and has a good size. Easy to dispense as much product as needed to your hand and easily applied to my hair. I just love the smell, it’s like a sweet oriental vanilla, makes the hair just smell so good. Even after washing your hair with shampoo there is still some smell lingering on your hair which is fantastic. Is very easy to massage the product in your hair either wet or dry (don’t need a lot of product), and the hands are not sticky after massaging in the product. Your hair feels dry in a good way, like the product doesn’t make your hair oily or wet. My hair feels soft and moisturised.

The Oil Midnight Serum bundle by L'Oréal is well worth it! The formula is enriched with camellia oil and worked wonders on my dry and brittle hair, providing me with nourishment overnight without leaving a greasy residue in hair and on my hands like my previous hair products. The formula feels luxurious. The smell is absolutely divine, it is like a subtle perfume for your hair that lingers all day, even my boyfriend started using it cause it smelt sooo good. Really impressed!

I am so happy and grateful to have been able to try this hair serum. It is divine! My hair is alittle fine/dry/damaged from having hair extensions in the past couple of months and this product has really helped my hair recover. Not only is it lightweight, it has a creamy enough texture to hydrate my fine hair without being too heavy and oily afterwards. It smells great which is a bonus and I have used it in both wet and dry hair and it works perfectly to remove any frizz and damages. I will be purchasing and continued to use this product.

This will revive your hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of the product & the smell, it definitely looks & feels like a container I wasn’t sure how much to use & honestly I think I put too much on the first time using it as it did absorb into my hair but when I woke up I definitely could feel my hair was a bit heavy & felt like there was product in it so I decided to wash it out & I must admit after my hair did look & feel revitalised & soft & my scalp wasn’t dry anymore so I think if you want to use it overnight but haven’t got time to wash your hair in the morning definitely don’t use too much I will definitely use this to treat my hair when it’s feeling a little dry.

Magic serum

I am obsessed with this serum for my dry frizzy hair because it makes my hair soft, silky and extremely glossy. I've never had hair that's this manageable and easy to style. Before trying this hair serum, I would normally straighten my hair but it never felt silky and would still look frizzy. Now... I almost have no words for how silky and glossy my hair goes when I straighten it after using this serum. It totally transforms my hair every single time I apply it. I could cry it's that good. I also really love the sweet scent of the serum. It makes my hair smell incredible. My hair is now hydrated and frizz free. I can't live without this. Thank you so much for creating such a magic serum for my hair. I can't remember this enough. You need to try it.

I did wonder how I’d feel about extraordinary oil being put on my hair before bed but this is a creamy textured serum. So no horrible residue left on your pillow either.
It smells divine not too overpowering that you can’t sleep just enough to send you positive night time vibes.
In the morning my hair was noticeably softer and less frizzy. It seemed to calm the follicles. But after being out in the rain the frizz soon came back. I think it would work wonders in the summer months. I’d also like to try this on wet hair to see results.

Miracle hair serum!

The glass bottle has a really premium/expensive look and feel to it, the serum has a lovely feel/texture. I only used a little on my thick, shoulder length hair and found it covered really well. My hair on waking felt softer/smoother and more protected. It looks and feels so much better after only a couple of uses. I will definitely be using from now on as part of my hair care regime and definitely recommend

I dye my hair blonde and I also use heat styling tools, so my hair is always in need of some extra nourishment. I currently use a L’Oreal paris extraordinary oil in the day time, so now to have this for overnight too it’s great, as my hair definitely needs it. My hair feels and looks so much more hydrated and less frizzy and I love that it is not greasy. It smells amazing too! It’s easy to apply, on wet or dry hair and you apply it to your lengths only and you just leave it in overnight without rinsing, so it’s a nice and easy way to treat your hair.

I can’t say enough good things about the L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Midnight Serum! Smells devine and smoothes hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is super damaged at the ends ATM I need it chopped off really but I still try and moisturise them with products as much as I can but I think I'm just fighting a losing battle lol BUT some products are quite good including this one, it smells absolutely gorgeous, (bit like a perfume I can't remember the name of) it does actually smoothe my dead scraggly ends overnight, I do use a silk pillowcase which helps too. It's called a serum but it's more like a very lightweight soft cream but feels weightless in your hair and just gives it that extra smoothness, this would be great for frizzy hair too I reckon.

L'Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Midnight Serum is a fantastic product for dry, dull and frizzy hair. After using this serum after washing and days I do not wash, I have seen the tremendous transformation that my hair has taken.
My hair before using this serum was frizzy, dry and dull. After using this serum, I have seen my hair be brought back to life, it has an incredible shine and looks well nourished. This serum really does provide much needed nourishment to your hair. My hair feels and looks silky and smooth with a lot of less frizz. The serum develops a natural curl in my hair rather than frizzy curls.
The serum has a pleasant scent that smells divine and does not feel greasy when applied to your hair. It gave my hair much needed nourishment leaving it feeling and looking healthy and shiny. I love this serum and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a product to add shine, nourishment and to reduce the frizz.

Hair more manageable and less frizzy

I was expecting a watery oil based product that often leaves my hair feeling and looking greasy but I was pleasantly surprised as this simply was not the case at all. It is a thin white cream that quickly absorbed straight into my hair without excess or the need to rinse it out. I have very frizzy hair which takes a lot of effort to tame in the mornings but having applied this oil to my hair after washing it the night before I noticed that my hair was much more manageable and less frizzy, and it felt nice and soft too! I like how the oil can be applied to both wet or dry hair and I can see myself making a lot of use out of this.

It was more than I thought, so rather than 2-3pumps for a serum, this was more, around 6-9. Once I’d cracked that though, it gave my looks a real soft and smooth finish without being overly moisturised of becoming greasy, just perfect finished. The was no sign of my hair being greasy the next day either, so this product really does deliver on creating great hair with all the benefits and no draw backs! I will definitely be adding this to my routine from now on. It smells amazing too.

Non-sticky, Non-greasy lotion-like formula that doesn't leave any residue behind after running through straight, fine hair for ~15 seconds. I like the L’Oréal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Midnight Serum as a hair product. It has a great sturdy bottle, with an easy to dispense pump. The hair oil did not cause my hair to be weighed down, and left it soft and with added shine. It did not effect how hair was styled and kept the ends feeling smooth.

I usually don’t put much in my hair as I have an oily scalp so I was expecting to get an oiler scalp after using this but was incredibly surprised. It smells great and leave my hair feeling amazing it’s not heavy and does not leave an oily residue in my hair or on my hands after use 10/10 recommend!!

I’ve been using the Midnight Serum for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly loving it! It’s super lightweight, which is great because I have super fine, thin hair, and it doesn’t weigh it down at all! Smells fantastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smells amazing and the fragrance lasts in your hair, so it’s especially nice to use a day or two after washing your hair. It’s very lightweight unlike an oil, which can be a bit heavier, leaving no greasy finish and not transferring on to my pillow. The bottle is huge so it will last for ages and ages, it’s also quite heavy so not travel friendly but can put it in a smaller bottle anyway. It makes my hair soft and tames frizz but I do like to use an oil as well for a bit extra. If your hair is very damaged like mine this might not be enough to nourish your hair on its own.

After having a horrific experience with a salon frying off my hair I will say my hair was the driest it had ever been.
I would put this in right before bed and sleep with a bonnet. My hair definitely felt refreshed when I woke up.

Calmer hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since my hair grew back after chemotherapy it has been dry and frizzy. I've tried lots of conditioners/hair masks etc but find that they either don't work or leave my hair greasy. This product is excellent. I applied it to the ends of my hair and spread it upward but not quite to the roots and scalp, covered it with a cotton hair turban and left it overnight. The fragrance is lovely and it washed off easily the following morning leaving my hair conditioned but not feeling greasy or heavy. My partner and I both used this on our hair and all I can say is wow! It didn’t feel oily on the hair and I woke up with smooth shiny hair. My partner curls really defined even with bleach damage to his hair!

Have been using this product for a few weeks now it’s been working great to rehydrate my hair have been applying it overnight it’s so good has helped my hair get so shiny and nice again

Hair oil

The oil provides shin and assist with de frizzing. My hair does feel smoother after use. It also provides a nice scent to the hair. Would recommend using each night for maximal effect

Very Impressive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this ! Honestly, all the Elvive hair products I have ever tried , I have loved! I used this last night before I went to bed. The scent is yummy and the cream consistency was unexpected. I was expecting "oil" .
I put some product into the palm of my hands, and rubbed them together. I then ran it through my hair . I immediately felt my hair softening and feeling better. I couldn't believe it worked immediately! It also made my wavy hair look smoother , with less frizzies.
I plan on using it again tonight. My hair is used to being covered with a hat , all day, and even in the house because it's been quite cold here.
I'm very happy to have this product in my hair arsenal . Highly appreciated and recommended!

Smells so good

First things first the smell is soooo good. Yes it dose make the hair nice and soft I tried on my self and my daughter we both have dry frizzy hair. Leaves the hair feeling soft

None greasy hair oil with lasting results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this hair oil and have recommended it to my family members who like me also suffer with frizz. So far I have only used it on wet hair but I'm so happy with it, my hair feels healthier, frizz free and nourished. Both me and my teenage daughter have been using it and we both love it, I have wavy hair and she has straight hair and we have both noticed results since using it. I was worried that with it being an oil it might transfer onto my pillow and cause break outs on my face but I've had no problems at all. As a bonus it has a beautiful fragrance too.

Lovely cream serum - no oily residue or frizz

First off I have to say I was surprised as it says it is 'Extraordinary Oil' and for some reason I did expect a more clear oil consistency where it is actually a pump action cream serum. I was not sure how much to apply and as I have a lot of hair I did about half a dozen pumps so a good 50p size lump. I smoothed through my hair and although thought it was going 'damp/oily' it dried within seconds and just left my hair feeling instantly soft and smelling lovely. By the morning my hair was still feeling great and noticeably less frizz!

It’s not a serum, it’s a face CREAM

I bought this due to trying to find something for my dry and brittle hair. My hair is very porous due to past bleaching but hasn’t been bleached on 18 months.
I thought I’d give it a go as it was on offer but it makes absolutely no difference whatsoever. It looks just like a facial cream and supposed to be a serum with oils in it. I’ve never known a hair serum to look like face cream, feels like a face cream and I’ve a feeling this exact hair serum is in fact one of their face creams. Maybe they had a big batch left over and they’ve just repurposed it with new branding.
The bottle looks great and did attract me to the hair serum initially. Honestly, this would cost more than the serum itself which isn’t even a serum, it’s a cream!
