Have you heard of L’oreal’s new elvive frizz killer serum? It is divine I am telling you, girls or boys with frizz prone hair you need this. I would strongly recommend this because its smells so delicious and fruity and you can put it on wet or dry hair, it’s good for people who are to lazy to dry their hair and then be dealing with the frizz after. The serum is extremely soothing and moisturising designed with ingredients to tame hair and protect against heat, these include castor seed oil, cocoa seed butter and a blend of hydrolysed wheat, corn, and soy proteins. All these ingredients strengthen, nourish, and moisturise the hair while killing frizz. What stood out for me was how it’s an oil, yet my hair didn’t feel oily at all, and the serum itself was not super thick.
For example, I like to use this product after a shower and then blow dry my hair as it acts as a protectant on hair which is a great feature or if im to lazy I will plait it and wake up with my hair nourished and frizz free feeling great. As a result, the finishing texture was very luscious and luminous, it very much tamed my hair, defrizzed and nourished it, it felt non greasy and lightweight. I mean how can one hair product have such an impact on my hair.
On top of that what I noticed after using this serum consistently was how much healthier my hair looks overall. It doesn’t just hide frizz for a few hours, it improves the appearance of my hair overtime. My ends look less split and dry, and my hair feels so much softer.
This product doesn’t compare to anything I have used like color wow’s dream coat anti frizz spray, and it was absolute rubbish. My hair had come out so knotty and dry as well as my scalp being on fire and crazy build up and I spent $50 on it! Another product it could never compare to that I tried was john Freeda’s frizz ease range and it was like a weapon on my hair and not in a good way. It left my hair so greasy and the feeling was just awful and sticky, and the worst part is it doesn’t even last an hour. What a waste of $20.
Another reason why I love this serum is because it’s so much more affordable than other hair products and easy to find in most supermarkets and drugstores. You do not need to be spending hundreds of dollars on high-end salon products that don’t even work to achieve smooth, shining hair. The packaging is also very sleek and easy to use, with a pump that controls how much product comes out so you’re not wasting it.
You can easily purchase this serum form places like Woolworths for $22, Coles for $11 when its on sale, Priceline for $21, and Chemist Warehouse for just $17.99. That means you do not have to search far or spend a fortune to achieve smooth, glossy hair, and nourished hair. It’s like finding a hidden treasure sitting right on the shelf. Compared to many high-end serums that cost a fortune, this one is affordable and powerful. It proves that you do not need luxury prices to get salon-worthy results. Overall, I rate this serum 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend to anyone struggling with frizz.
