How To Use

Decadent tinted day cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rich decadent day cream that could easily be used as a night cream too. It is tinted a salmon pink so was like a BB cream but richer, so face cream with a hint of make up that makes the face look radiant and natural coverage. I would quite happily wear this alone instead of foundation for a natural look. Be advised that just like make up it will stain bedding if not removed. Gorgeous scent without causing irritation. It absorbed easily, although rich did not cause blemishes and the general appearance of my skin really improved felt more moisturised without being over greasy. Very pretty jars that looked great sat on my shelf.

Severe allergic reaction

The TV advertising caught my eye and I was seduced by the thought of adding some rosiness to my face -am so fed up with constantly finding new signs of aging on my face.
I put some on one morning and later in the day my face started itching. Despite washing my face the next day most of my face was swollen. I took antihistamine tablets and a friend gave me some steroid cream to rub on. My skin took several days to recover.
As I had bought both the day and night cream , a few weeks later I tried a tiny bit of the
night cream on my neck. Next morning that place on my neck was itchy. So disappointed!

A pleasant enough day cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impressions when opening the cream was that the colour (even though it's described as 'rosy') was very pink. Almost unnaturally so. However this doesn't look odd once applied. It has a lovely rich consistency and settles on the skin well. After a little while after application I noticed a pinky hue on my skin but in a good way. Personally my only issues was that if it went near my eyes it irritated them, and about 10 minutes after application my skin still felt slightly dry so i'd have to apply a little bit more. (It really should contain SPF too). My skin didn't break out though i'm happy to say, and make-up looked great when this was used underneath.

Having used Loreal skincare products for most of my adult life I was not surprised with with the positive results of Age Perfect Golden Age. The Redensifying Day Cream is packaged beautifully and the jars are easily manipulated for application. My skin has responded to the significant hydration boost and the rosy tone is very pleasing. It feels revived and looks healthier. I also found that my foundation applied easier and looked smoother. This trial was a well timed opportunity for me as I was unsure if I needed very mature skin care. I love these Loreal Golden Age products and will continue to use them. They are reasonably priced and easy to recommend to friends.

Awful orange tint

I bought this cream last week and it gave my skin an orange tint. I am not stuck with this product as I cannot return it to the shop I bought it from.

L'Oreal hits the spot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very excited to receive my free sample of L'Oreal's Golden Age Rosy re-fortifying cream. I have used it for 3 days and have noticed a change in how my face feels already. My skin feels softer and more hydrated. This cream blends into the skin very smoothly without leaving a sticky residual like a lot of face creams do.
The packaging is tasteful and once I got over the shock of the pink cream(the colour made me think of Germolene) I am very pleased with how my skin looks and feels
Depending on the pricing of this range for 'very mature skin' I would be very interested in trying other items in this range. I will be recommending all of my mature friends to give this a try.p

Golden Age Rose Re-Fortifying Cream 50ml

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think as a Re-Fortifying Cream this hits the spot. An amazing rosy glow is visible from the outset, as the super soft cream is applied and blended. My skin felt softer and firmer than it had done for a long while., a firmer fuller texture seemed to appear within a matter of days. I have had a problem area of dry mottled skin on the area between the eyes/brows which has troubled me a long time-this has improved greatly. The cream works well with or without make-up(I tend to wear make up for a considerable amount of the time) and I have no need to re -apply as everything stays looking fresh and bright with a plump revitalised appearance. I would recommend this product highly.

In the pink?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’m not 20 anymore….. so the cream is for 60+ and is quite rich as you’d imagine but goes on nicely, it made me look quite red to start with but after it had been on for a while made my skin look quite fresh with a slight glow early on! Here comes the but…….it didn’t make me skin feel softer or really keep it moisturised, sorry the bit I really don’t like is the fact that it doesn’t seem to have any sun protection factor, now I’m older I’m wearing a a factor 50 moisturiser all year round, once again sorry but I think I need more protection to keep my skin looking better than just a slight glow
