Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Day Cream 50ml - For Very Mature Skin 60+

I have always used L'Oreal face creams. I thought I would try this product as it was specifically for over 60 aged skin. I was really surprised how dark the cream is and did not like the fact that it left a tint on my face. Also it didn't absorb into my skin as other I'oreal creams have. After a few days use my skin was becoming itchy and then very red. There is obviously an ingredient being used that doesn't agree with me. When reading other reviews I can see that I am not the only one that this has happened to! Perhaps your formulation needs formulating! I would welcome some feedback from you.

I fact several of my friends ave said that my skin looks younger and more radiant. They asked what I had been doing differently and I told them about this trial that I have been doing, and Hal my skin feels softer and firmer and not so dry. I would recommend this product to the older lady. I haven't found any down side to this product. I have very sensitive skin and a lot of products can give me a rash. Age Perfect Golden age has not it is perfect for my skin.

The pot is lovely as is very easy to open and close, no struggling to access the cream! On opening I was quite surprised as to how pink it was in the pot and also upon applying. After a few seconds though this quickly faded and left a lovely rosy glow and smoother looking skin. It is easy to apply but the initial application feels waxy to me and not very pleasant. I would be willing to put up with this though as the end result is as it should be. I will be buying this again and would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying the Golden Age cream that I received free I must admit that it is different to other products that I have used. If I said wow this works it would be down to my wishful thinking and so will keep to reality, its a lot thicker than other creams and so thought it might be sticky or leave residue on my skin. It did not and in fact felt very good. My skin looked and felt as if it was awake and it had a nice light perfume too. When I see the wrinkles in the mirror I do dream of finding a magic cream that will smooth them all out but of course I know that that is not going to happen and so Golden Age will do for me I like it and the way my face feels. It is early days so who knows what may happen.

This stuff works! I have very sensitive skin and consequently have been very lax in moisturising for the last 50 plus years. Result - dry, dull, wrinkly quite horrible and older than my years skin. I bought a tub of this, beautifully packaged, 'jar of hope' and I love it. My skin feels soft, moisturised and looks a little brighter. Early days yet but I am very impressed with this product - far better than the so-called hypo-allergenic expensive brands. The information on the side of the box is very informative also. I may well splash out on the other products in this range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product suited my skin perfectly. The packaging tells you, it enhances your colour and this gives your skin a rosy glow. This is a very natural product Initially because I wanted to know more about the product, I put a small amount on my skin. It had a lovely smell. It was also easy to apply
with a smooth finish. I proceeded to apply to face and neck in circular movements. My face was cleansed first, and the cream was applied in the morning. I was very impressed with the product. I asked my friend how she thought the product looked on my skin, as she may have seen thus in a different light to me.
Her comments were, I wouod like some of that it looks lovely on you. I definitely will purchase this its lovely.

I really like day cream and along with the toner/serum in the range made my skin very soft.  I always like to wait a couple of minutes before applying my primer.  I was a little surprised by the colour of the cream, but when I read about the natural pink micro-pearls I understood why it was that colour.  It is a little thicker than other day creams I've used but it quickly absorbed into my skin but being "mature" I didn't think it was heavy at all but probably something I needed.  The pink pigments definitely do brighten my skin.  I would repurchase this product.

I was very concerned when I opened the jar and saw this very deep rose colour cream! However, on applying this very smooth cream,which was quickly absorbed and non greasy I did not look like a clown and my skin does feel softer although neither my friends nor I are aware of a rosy glow, perhaps I need to use it for longer or just leave Scotland in the winter!
It has a lovely light smell and I enjoy using it and may well continue if I get my rosy glow and I would want it to have an spf factor.

This day cream is lovely, in fact it ticks all the boxes for her 70+ skin, except it does leave a rosy glow. Now I know many may want that, but on her olive skin tone it looks lovely pink. In her words, 'Makes me look like an old lady with the wrong foundation on'. It really does leave a pink cast on the skin. I know many would probably enjoy the glow, but for my Mum it's not for her. Otherwise it's a lovely cream and one she will use when not going out. But if out she would opt for something else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely packaging , would make a perfect Mother's day or Birthday gift.The pot's of both the day and night cream have attractive gold lids and the pots look good on the dressing table. The cream is a rose pink colour but does not look like that on the skin. I have a pale skin and it just makes it look as if it has a healthy light rosy glow. Pleasant light fragrance . Only a small amount needed and quickly sinks in to leave skin looking hydrated and dewy . Too early to say about any more long lasting affects but up to now I am impress with the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved Golden Age Re-Fortifying cream free and in return was asked to review this product it has a strong rosey hue colour to this cream the glass jar is quite classy the cream has a rosy pink colour i tried the cream in the morning i used a small amout which rubbed into my skin quite well i am 68 and this cream really suits my skin.i have only been useing it for one week and i am delighted with it my skin feels soft and supple.at the end of the day my skin still feels fresh i would highly recommend this product for anyone in my age group

I love that LOreal are targeting the mature age skin. This is a fabulous product and offers the mature skin solutions. The packing is lovely and its all part of feeling good when you purchase a special item. The colour of the cream gives a rosy youthful glow to your skin which instantly improved the look. The cream itself is interesting as it gives a firming and tightening feel more than a moisture feel. Overall I loved the cream and although all my wrinkles and lines are still there I looked and felt better with the youthful glow.

Golden Age Rosy Re-Fortifying Day Cream and Golden Age Cooling, Rosy Night Cream are the worst face creams I have ever purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG i opened the jar of cream and thought - wow what a lovely blush shade and how is that going to look on my face. Well i thought it amazingly rubbed straight into my skin, which i may add was extremely dry and felt great. I have tried numerous creams and must have spent a fortune over the years and there was no difference in a lot of them and other either made my skin worse or would'nt rub in without effort. So theank yourr for sending this FREE Golden age jar L'Oreal. I have not looked into the cost of this as the jar will last me for ages and by the time i need to buy one the cost will have gone up. I have combination skin so it does make me look a bit shiny on the nose/chin forehead area but I just use a mattifying primer on those areas to help with the shine as the moisturising qualities are worth it! Lovely subtle scent, gorgeous texture and love the look of the jar on my dressing table top. This is perfect to use on its own or under make up. Skin looks much healthier and glowing directly after use which is just what I needed to give me that healthy looking glow!

Well I was wrong, I have been using the new product morning and evening for over a week now and believe it is better than my previous product.

The cream is smooth and non greasy with a pleasant perfume. Made my face feel soft and smooth, really liked it.

I will continue to use this product when I have used up the free sample as I think it is definitely beneficial to my skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been lucky enough to be sent for free from L'oreal a pot of their rosy face cream. The one that Helen Mirren advertises.

I decided to go a tad off piste and use this on one side of my face and my usual brand on the other. I have done this for two weeks.

Whilst there was no huge improvement on the L'Oreal side it performed as well as my hugely expensive regular Brand used on the other side.

So maybe I'll switch to using only the L'Oreal pot and finish it. Maybe the Helen Mirren effect will appear then.

The creams colour was quite a surprise I didn't expect it to be so deep rose. It is easy to apply and quickly absorbed leaving the skin feeling refreshed it also seems to leave a rosy hue to the skin.
I did received my Golden Age for free from L'Oreal but that fact has not influenced my review as I have always loved L'Oreal products. I would definitely buy it as it really suits and helps my ageing skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to be asked to review L'Oréal Paris' Age Perfect new formula, I doubted that this day cream could be improved at all. Imagine my surprise when I first used this new, improved day cream when I was immediately taken with a subtle difference in it's fragrance and with it's creamy texture. I can't imagine how it has been perfected, but it certainly has. My only complaint is that it has not been improved to include SPF 15, which I need because I have an extremely fair and sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this to review and was worried that as I am outside of the recommended 60+ age range it is meant for that it may be too moisturizing. But it wasn't. The fragrance of the product is lovely and makes using it a joy. I suffer with slightly drier skin in the winter and this cream complimented it beautifully. A really lovely product to use. I have now passed it on to my mum (she's in the recommended age range) so interested to see how she gets on with it. Would definitely use in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I’m in the wrong age bracket officially for this cream I was pleased with it, the smell is lovely and clean smelling and the hint of colour would suit most complexions. It is moisturising and a little goes a long way. My only concern is that I cannot see that it has any sunscreen in the product and this is so important these days and I wouldn’t want to have to add another product separately when most moistures have this already added??? This is the only reason I have given it 4 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After cleansing I applied just a small amount of this lush cream, following the instructions to my face and neck and my complexion instantly had a more natural 'glow' Full of essential nutrients this can only be good for my skin and lets face it we need and deserve all the help we can get when fighting this thing called AGEING! My skin absolutely feels better for it and I shall continue to use this throughout the winter and use the SPF similar cream that L'Oreal have in the sunnier days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice moisturiser that kept my skin soft without being too thick, but that is something that L’Oréal nail on all their moisturisers. The rosey glow is really great, although I did find that it changed the look of my ‘other brand’ foundation, making my colour look a little odd, so I will probably stick to wearing this on my no makeup days, to make the most of the lovely glow it gives. The only thing that I really didn’t like was the fragrance- far too strong for a face cream

It came in a very impressive box and jar and I couldn't wait to try it. The rose coloured cream has a nice subtle aroma and it feels good on my skin. It is not greasy and although I haven't really noticed any difference in my complexion yet I am very pleased with it. I noticed the slight glisteny sheen left on my hands one day whilst sitting in the sun indoors. I think the product is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This day moisturiser first appears to be very heavy and has a strange dark pink colour, similar to the colour of the Germolene tins that were around in the 1970s (showing my age now!!). On application however, the texture is fairly light and covers the skin easily, hiding blemishes and concealing less than perfect areas. I was a little disappointed that it took a while to be fully absorbed, having to wait around 20 minutes before applying makeup. Hence the three stars.

The packaging was impressive and looked as though a lot of though had gone into it. After using it for 10 days I felt that it was a quality product. My skin was definately hydrated and softer. The colour gave my skin a subtle glow. Only time will tell if it keeps my wrinkles at bay, but I am impressed with the product so far and will gladly continue to use it till it is finished.

Love the look of the jar, it would be very easy to notice it on the retailers shelf. The cream was very easy to apply it had a nice velvety feel, my skin can be a little sensitive leaving my face feeling very itchy, thankfully this has not happened. My skin absorbed the cream leaving my skin feeling very soft. This is my first usage of the cream & must say I am impressed.

I must confess I usually use an ordinary moisturising cream so approached this product with a degree of cynicism. At first glance it appears rather pink and a little sticky looking but on application I was surprised how quickly it was absorbed by my 67 year old skin and the colour gave my skin a subtle glow - not over the top by any means. My skin also feels much firmer too and looks more alive. All in all - great product.
