Age Perfect Collagen Expert Tightening Day Cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My skin is combination but my cheeks are hydrated and my concerns are early signs of ageing so I was on the look out for a light texture but was going to help with my concerns. I love the jar design and easy to open lid and was able to get out the jar the desired amount of product. I started on my cheeks and sparingly applied it lastly to my t zone. I let the product absorb in before applying my make up. I’ve used it every morning for a week and I’m happy with the results so far, plumper looking skin with has a glow and I’m hoping the product helps slow down the process of my ageing lines.

I have been using L’Oréal moisturiser for about 30years, I purchased this product and after using it twice, on both occasions I have had quite a reaction to it which shocked and scared me to be honest. Extreme puffiness to my face and sore prickly feeling. I’m sorry L’Oréal because I love your products but I have to ask what the heck is in this moisturiser???? I’ve checked the ingredients and there is nothing in there that I believe would cause such a reaction. It was ok until i felt the heat of the sun, then after 15mins my face and neck swelled up and became very red and hot. Scary.

The only drawback is that you have to be careful not to glob it on and leave it to "soak in". I found that if you apply too much, you will get some "pilling". Pilling is when you put your foundation on and get small little bumps that manifest themselves on your face and neck. This happens a lot if you have put too much moisturiser on your face. They are hard to get off the skin.
I have extremely dry skin, and this cream was a welcome addition to my collection of cream moisturisers. It has a fresh feeling and a nice fragrance, which is very lightweight.
It for sure is "value for money", and I will re purchase !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many moisturisers designed for 'mature skin'. Age perfect does exactly what it should. It is thicker than some creams I have used before, but don't let that put you off. It doesn't feel greasy and sinks into the skin very quickly. It has a pleasant perfume which isn't overpowering. I was able to use my normal make up within minutes of using Age Perfect and it looked good. After using this moisturiser for a few weeks, my skin feels soft and looks rehydrated. Thanks L'Oréal for my free sample. I will certainly make this moisturiser a part of my everyday beauty routine.

I bought this as I wanted a day cream with SPF 30.
After a few days I found my skin was burning hot, my face red, itch and covered in bumps. Stopped using it, went back to Oil of Olay and managed to clear up the problem. Also lips affected where cream had been on them.
Tried the cream again to be sure it wasn't due to extraneous factors - same effect after 2 days.
Maybe it has this effect on people with sensitive skin. I had similar many years ago with an Estee Lauder pump cream where, I read in an article much later after I had chucked it, that ingredients separated towards the bottom of the bottle. That can't be the case with this cream as I've used so little from the top!
It's going in the bin.

L’Oreal Age Perfect Rehydrating Day Cream helps me to repair my complexion. My skin is tighter and looks younger since I apply my Rehydrating Day Cream every morning. This is my daily dose of collagen, it really helps. My sagging chin looks firmer and the contours of my face look remodelled. I have definitely less dark spots. I wear less makeup since I apply L’Oreal Rehydrating Day Cream. I will definitely try The Age Perfect Regime completed with Rehydrating Night Cream and Rehydrating Eye Care.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my free jar of L'Oreal Age Perfect Day Cream only a week ago. Although this is not really long enough to feel the complete benefit of the cream I have to admit that on applying the cream I can almost feel the rehydrating properties as I smooth it on my skin. It certainly has a lovely creamy feel to it and unlike some creams I have tried it didn't make my skin feel dry afterwards. I do tend to suffer from dry skin and this product does definitely deal with this problem and make your skin feel fresh after applying. I would certainly recommend this product to others.

I applied this product to my face once and within 24 hours my face was blistered, red and very painful. There are no warnings in the box or product to say that this could happen. Buyer beware this is product is harmful.

It was a thick cream that smelled lovely, I tried it on the back of my hand just to check I wasn't allergic and if it did for the aged skin on my face what it did for the skin on the back of my hands I was really looking forward to trying it. Put it on my face and it did take a minute or two to soak or dry on my skin but once it did it gave me a good base for my make up. I would have liked to have seen a difference with my eyelids but they were still puffy but my skin felt smooth.

I have been using Age Perfect Day Cream for about a week now, and I have already noticed improvements to the texture of my skin - it is definitely softer, and looks a lot more radiant. The cream texture is perfect, and soaks into my skin easily, leaving no residue.

Age Perfect Day Cream has certainly impressed me, and I shall definitely continue to use it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] L'Oreal Perfect Day Cream lives up to its name-Perfect! I've been using the cream provided free by L'Oreal, for two weeks and it's ongoing. The first impression I got was the scent, it's very fresh and pleasant. Then I asked myself will it do what I expect it to do. I have to say that my skin looks smooth , as if I'd had a facial and glowing. The texture of the cream is thick and creamy I didn't have to use a lot which has to be a plus. My foundation was much easier to put on , I was finding before using this cream that my skin which is mature was beginning to feel taut. Now , since using L'Oreal Perfect Day Cream it has more elasticity. I'd like to thank L'Oreal for giving me the opportunity of finding a product that ticks all the boxes for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed to receive a full sized product for this trial. It gives the chance to try it properly over a period of time.
First impressions are good, I like the smell it is not too strong or overpowering.
The consistency of the cream itself is also good, not thick or greasy feeling like similar products but also not too thin either.
Application is easy, the creams is absorbed easily and evenly to the skin, and causes it to feel softer on application.
My main concern is my neck, as a woman of a certain age (56) it is my main concern. I think the cream has made a slight difference to the tautness of my neck but am still using the cream so have not seen the full effect yet.
It is a product I would recommend as long as the price is not too high.

I have never really used face cream for a great length of time and believe me I tried a few. Other creams I found greasy and they made my face shiney and feel greasy to the touch. I have found L'Oreal Age perfect cream is not having the same effect so that is a positive sign. I love the way the cream is absorbed into the skin and it also smells lovely, it makes my face feel soft but normal to touch. You don't need a lot a few small dots around your face and neck go a long way. For now I'm happy with the product but think it's to soon to have had any visual effect. I like it and will carry on using it as I am getting older and my skin could probably do with a little help :)

I had previously had a dry skin reaction to some cream I was using which was soy based and I was a little hesitant about trying another cream but I need not have worried. The L'oreal age perfect day cream was rich and creamy but not at all greasy, it quickly soothed my dry itchy skin and really made a difference to my wrinkles. I thoroughly recommend this cream and will be buying it in future and not risking using cheaper creams on my skin.

I have been applying the cream with my fingertips every day and then gently rubbing it on my face. The cream is then absorbed very quickly and you can feel the effect almost immediately. The fragrance is slightly scented, but most of all I am pleased with the long lasting effects, as well as the soft, relaxed feeling on the skin, I feel that the skin on my face has fewer wrinkles and most importantly the neck area feels and looks firmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new formula Age Perfect Day cream from L'Oréal was a pleasure to use. It has a rich, creamy texture which was easily absorbed by my extremely dry skin and gave an immediate feeling of re-hydration. My fair skin has sustained sun damage and it's difficult to extinguish this between a number of age spots and facial moles. After using the product for a number of days my skin looked and felt nourished and smoother unfortunately there was no improvement in my age spots which were more noticeable if anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely moisturiser, I usually use L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Pro Retinol Day Cream, which I love, so I was excited to try this!
I particularly liked the smell of this, really subtle but just lovely, I actually look forward to putting this on my face! The texture is nice, kind of like a mousse. It is easily smoothed over my skin. You don’t need much to cover your whole face and neck. It lasted my a lot longer than my usual which is quite nice (cost saving) I would definitely use this again in the future.

This is a rich cream, but it absorbs easily and doesn’t leave a residue on the skin. Feels lovely on my dry skin and gives a lot of moisture. So far I haven’t seen any difference in terms of age spots and firming of the skin, but I’ll happily finish the jar and keep my fingers crossed for a visible result once it’s all used up. My skin looks smooth and nourished so I’m happy!

The cream is a bit of a thicker consistency than I am used to but skin feels lovely and hydrated after using, my skin does have a nice glow to it after only using for a few days, it's great for the days you don't wear makeup. However when I used it and wore makeup my makeup didn't seem to last as long may, this cream may be slightly too heavy for use with makeup, I do find a lighter Facecream or serum suit my skin better when wearing makeup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally use L’Oréal wrinkle expert but tried the age perfect. It’s a much thicker texture and does feel slightly greasy on the skin but my makeup went on smoothly and the dry patch on my forehead felt smoother.

It’s hard to say if it’s anti-sagging as I think I would need to use it longer than a few weeks to tell. My skin certainly looks nice and plump. The cream has a slight fragrance to it that I’m not overly keen on, it’s not unpleasant, I just prefer no fragrance.

A good cream to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon using the age perfect classic day cream, I found the texture light but quite rich. I just found that once I applied it to my skin that it felt slightly grainy. I could feel it on my lips and felt it sat on my skin and didn’t absorb. I have normal/combination skin and would say this is more suited to a dry skin type. It has a pleasant fragrance but I found it left my skin greasy looking and in hot weather left me looking shiny! I wouldn’t carry on using but instead look for something lighter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pot of loveliness is an attractive pale pastel colour and smells extremely nice. It very easy to apply as it seems to glide on to the skin and is instantly absorbed with no tackiness.
Skin instantly feels soft, nourished and hydrated. It definitely forms a barrier between my skin and foundation. I haven’t been using it long enough to see my age spots disappear but they do appear to be less defined and obvious. The only reason I have given 4 and not 5 stars is because there is no SPF

I have used previous L'Oréal products and was curious how well I would like this. There is very little smell to this but what there is pleasant to the nose. It is a very rich cream not greasy and although it didn't sink easily into the skin you only need to rub it in a circular motion for it to be absorbed. My skin feels lovely and soft for a good 8 hours after use which is really good. You only have to use a small amount of cream therefore a pot of this cream would last a long time, I have only been using this product for 7 days and can already see an improvement in the tone of my skin I'm very impressed with this product and would definitely recommend it for the more mature skin I will be buying this product his in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My skin has been very dry lately due to the weather and using retinol products. My skin has felt tight and "thirsty". This cream is the answer! It has a lovely thick consistency which is what my skin needs right now. It does take a while to sink in, so maybe not for those days you need to put make up on and leave the house in a hurry. You could also use it as a night cream. I don't usually like creams to have fragrance, but this one smells quite nice and not too overpowering.

The packaging is attractive and the pot is heavy giving the product a luxurious feel. As soon as I opened the pot I noticed the amazing smell of the cream and when applying the cream to my skin the texture is very thick and nourishing. The cream itself melts into the skin well and doesn't leave it feeling greasy or sticky. After just three days of application my skin feels firmer and more full and my wrinkles seem reduced. Very excited to see the results after continued use! The pot holds a good amount of product meaning it will last a while even with ample application. Overall a very good product and would be sure to buy in future combined with the night cream. Many thanks to L'Oreal.

I have been using for over a week and have noticed my skin still feels soft towards the end of the day but not greasy.

I haven’t noticed tighter skin or reduced age spots, maybe see this with longer term use. I’ve been using the same eye cream too.
I would have liked an SPF and maybe then I’d pay full price for it.

This cream has a light, fresh, clean fragrance that is subtle and not overpowering. The cream glides on to my skin leaving it feeling and looking smooth and hydrated. My makeup applies really well on top without any pilling. My skin looks and feels more toned and fresh since I started using this product. Would highly recommend.

What I did get was a full size product which is actually very easy to apply and absorbs straight away not tack afterwards and very light on my skin. I have been using the cream every day and found it moisturises my skin and I can actually see the slight age spots fading....or is that my imagination..........watch this space.
