Beauty Tips
From Fashion Week

The sartorial marathons in London and New York have officially wrapped, which means it’s time for a Fashion Week runway recap. We’ve pulled together the top emerging trends from Fashion Week Fall 2019 - from smouldering shadows and elegant chignons to a glorious nod to the discos era - so you can spin high fashion styles into everyday chic.

70s homage
The loud glitz and glamour of the 70s disco scene was a major theme on the Fashion Week catwalk. Slicked back hair took a backseat to frizzy, voluminous updos – Big Hair Energy, if you will. While designers like Michael Kors went all out, Erdem took a more ladylike approach with a sculptural, elegant chignon at the crown. To replicate the look, simply gather your hair into a high ponytail, gently tease for volume and twist it into a knot. Tuck in stray ends and secure with large hairpins... and a generous spritz of Elnett!

Colour clouds

Pastel hair these days are less a trend and more a fact of life… and fashion. Cotton candy pink and baby blue shades came out to play in a major way at London Fashion Week. Colour clouds made their runway debut. Simply put, it’s a sporadic pattern of pastel streaks arranged artfully (and carelessly) through your tresses, peeking out for a surprise burst of colour. Sounds like fun? With Colorista 1-day Spray, you can get the pastel look without the commitment. In fact, you can rock it without even running a comb through your hair. Just spray!

Ombre lips
Two-tone lipstick is back in vogue, with designers and makeup artists at Fashion Week falling head over heels for the Warhol pop art pout. It’s a look that’s easily recreated at home, all you need is several shades of red lipstick and plum lip liner. First, trace the perimeter of the mouth with Color Riche Lip Liner and diffuse toward the center. Then layer Color Riche Matte Lipstick on top and finish with a dot of red at the very center. You’re left with a blooming floral effect - very la vie en rose.
