Poh's food career began in the first season of MasterChef Australia in 2009. Shortly after she was offered her own cooking show, ‘Poh's Kitchen’ and subsequently her series ‘Poh & Co’. Both series provided a look into her hectic life as a cook, an artist and small business owner. As a seasoned talent in front of the camera, Poh has upcoming plans to co-host a new cooking series alongside another Australian cooking talent which will air in 2022.
Running in parallel with her career as a TV chef, is her venture into the world of food writing. Ever since she was a young girl, Poh always found a great sense of belonging, in a world where she otherwise felt alien, in the art of drawing, painting and writing. In 2010, her love for all things creative was fulfilled as Poh achieved a lifelong dream of publishing her first cookbook, ‘Poh's Kitchen, My Cooking Adventures’, which stayed in the top 10 Australian bestsellers list for six weeks. Despite her already overflowing schedule as a TV presenter and author, Poh still finds time to pursue a third career as a visual artist, painting professionally for over ten years with 14 solo exhibitions under her belt.
