About Jess
A natural born feminist, activist, and ballad and pop aficionado, Jessica Mauboy is an enduring part of the fabric of Australian music. We’ve grown up with Jess - seeing her transition from shy teen to supremely confident woman and she’s as at home with collaborators as she is with the role that positively lights her up. Forever flying the flag for Aussies and the Aboriginal community, Jess was the first non-European solo artist invited to perform as a guest at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 and is also a proud ambassador of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation (ILF), spending time in many remote communities, understanding the challenges and barriers to literacy.
Jess on Self Worth
It’s exactly this fierce passion that makes Jess so perfect to join the extraordinary group of unapologetic women representing L’Oréal Paris, which includes Australian Cricket legend Elyse Perry, 2015 Australian of the Year Rosie Batty and Former MasterChef runner-up, artist and author Poh Ling Yeow.
“For me self-worth is finding something that gives you a sense of belonging and purpose, it changes with experience and is something we are constantly navigating”, she says. “Working with L’Oréal Paris is a dream come true, it’s such an honour to stand alongside inspirational women such a Ellyse, Rosie and Poh who each have such an incredible story to tell.”
Jess’ Top L’Oréal Paris Products
Jess’ favourite products from L'Oréal Paris are the Revitalift Filler 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum and to achieve her staple ‘no makeup-makeup' look, she pairs the True Match Foundation with Lash Paradise Mascara for a long and flirty lash.
