How To Use
1. Place the Telescopic Mascara brush at base of lashes and gently sweep up to tip.
2. If desired, apply a second coat while lashes are still wet.

Lovely mascara with the right technique!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m liking this mascara more and more as I’m getting used to the wand. It’s a plastic type wand with short plastic bristles rather than a brush type wand. At first, I found it hard to apply this mascara to my lower lashes without making a mess, but I’m slowly getting there with my technique.
For my upper lashes, this product has always been great. It’s easy to achieve nicely separated and long looking lashes which last well during the day. I find this product quite easy to remove with my bi-phase eye make up remover, more so than some of my other mascaras.
Now I’ve sussed out how to apply to my lower lashes, I’d definitely consider buying this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have much experience using this kind of wand mascara (plastic grooves, without bristles) but I'm a convert after trying the Telescopic Mascara! With bristle wands, it normally takes a good few swipes and a certain level of precision to get the right level of volume, length and lash separation that I like.
But with this mascara it literally took one swipe and they looked perfect! Amazing length, a good amount of product on the wand to create instant volume and because of the individual grooves I got great lash definition.
I will continue to use this as my go to mascara from now on but it's especially handy for when I'm in a hurry as it saves so much time!

Why fix something that isn’t broken?

I have used this mascara for YEARS. I love it. Or at least I used to. I bought a new bottle recently, and L’Oréal has changed the brush. Instead of 4 short-teeth combs, it’s 3 longer-toothed combs. It now makes clumpy, spider legs. The new brush doesn’t separate the lashes, it doesn’t create beautiful individual lashes. I’m having to use the arms of my tweezers to separate my lashes from the clumps, and Cotton-wool buds to remove excess product. Additionally, the bottle doesn’t remove excess mascara from the brush anymore. What a mess L’Oréal. What ARE you doing.
I tried to keep the old brush, but it doesn’t fit the bottle.
Why ‘fix’ something that wasn’t broken to begin with?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that when I first saw the applicator for this mascara I was sceptical that it was going to be any good. Rather than being a traditional mascara brush wand it’s a flexible stick with very small bristles on it. However it actually applied the mascara really well and I was amazed at how much longer and thicker my eyelashes looked after just one application. The wand is narrow so it allows you to get the product right down to the roots of the lashes. It is slightly clumpy but it’s easy to separate the lashes. It’s also a really good black which I love. I think it’s my new favourite mascara.

The best mascara yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many mascara users I have tried loads over the years and, while some may be OK, I've yet to find one that is my 'go to' mascara until now! This is, quite simply a wonder mascara. It has more of a comb than a brush and, being thin it coats even the tiny, almost unreachable, corner lashes to give me a lovely, long lash, natural look. And my lashes feel soft and not stiff. With a 2nd coat I have fabulous 'made up' lashes. Easy to remove at the end of the day. I really cannot praise this mascara enough and, on those days when I want to go full makeup free, I wear it on it's own with a slick of my L'Oreal lippy and I'm good to go. I truly hope L'Oreal continue with this gorgeous mascara.

Good for length!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally tend to go for plastic mascara brushes as I prefer the bristly ones, and this brush is quite a thin brush too so it took a bit of getting used to before I mastered the application. The mascara provided a fair amount of length to my lashes and helped define them, but for me it's not perfect as I felt like I was lacking a bit of volume. This is not meant to be volumizing mind, so I won't hold that against it. It lasted all day on my lashes and came off with my usual eye makeup remover. Would recommend if length and definition is what you're looking for in a mascara!

Absolutely in love with this mascara. my lashes are visibly longer and thicker. the best part about this mascara is that it’s easiest to remove it by just water!!! no makeup wipes needed and no panda eyes.

Stunning glossy black lashes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been loyal to L'Oreal's Paradise mascara for quite some time now but wanted to see how this one compared. Rather than a fluffy brush, it's a plastic one with short spikes. It took me a couple of tries to get the balance of product on and I found I have to be precise and not rush while using this mascara. As it is quite a wet formulation I have found it is better to use a small amount to avoid clumping the lashes together. It certainly makes my lashes really long, not as think as Paradise mascara but I much more intense, glossy black lash.

It adequately grabs your lashes from the base right through to the ends of your lashes distributing the product evenly. There was no clumping for me and the product was easily buildable without looking clunky. Also rate the blackness of the mascara...it isn't a terribly dense black but it's a shade darker than naturally black looking lashes so it makes enough impact after application. As for its lengthening abilities this was great. It certainly does what it sets out to do! Very pleased!

Brilliant mascara that lasts all day!

The brush is a lot thinner than what I’m used to but this meant that I could apply the mascara to my smaller lashes with precision. I could immediately see the lengthening effect. I have two small children to run around after and I was super impressed that this mascara didn’t smudge or run and still looked great at the end of the day! It was also easy to remove. I would definitely buy this mascara again, it does exactly what it claims to do and performs really well. Great value for money.

Long lashes but too much product on wand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea of this mascara is great. However there is far too much product that comes out on the wand and I have to wipe away a lot of it, which is a waste. Without doing that, my lashes clumped together like spiders legs and looked gloppy.
Once the wand had a lot of the mascara removed and I used it my lashes did look very long but quite thin. Even with several coats it didn't really give much volume but if it's length you're looking for then this is great - apart from having to losing so much product to actually make it usable

The brush is the best I’ve used, it’s kind of flat but really helps me lengthen my lashes without getting it on my eyelids! Defined & lengthened my lashes (my very short thin rubbish lashes) it stayed on all day & no panda eyes, this is the most important thing to me, I can’t stand it when my mascara ends up under my eyes...& this stayed put all day! Not hugely thickening but I love this & I will 100% be buying it again & again...& again :-D

The most impressive part of this mascara is the volumising effect - my lashes were uplifted and thickened in a few minutes. I think if you curled your lashes then used this mascara there would be no need for falsh eyelashes. However care is needed to ensure you don't overcoat the lashes, the mascara formula itself seems a little thick. Easy to remove with a double cleansing skin routine.

I must admit when I first saw the thin long wand/brush I was unsure whether I would achieve great results, but I was pleasantly surprised. The brush has small bristles, but they work very well at separating your lashes and giving them a much longer look. Hands down the WORST mascara I’ve used! From someone who gets compliments on my eyelashes as they are naturally long, I always wear mascara and have tried many brands. This mascara was so clumpy, made my lashes cluster together, couldn’t even separate with tweezers, still looked horrendous. Felt like a 14 year old in 2011 again with caked spider looking lashes! Safe to say it came straight off and my old mascara on until I can order a different one.
Really disappointed as the reviews looked promising.

Great lash lengthening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the smudge proof, flake free, lightweight formula of this mascara and it definitely lengthened my lashes considerably after just one coat.
I found the thin comb wand challenging to use as it made for quite a messy application, regardless of how careful I was, mascara would always get onto my eyelid just above my lash line which isn't so much of a problem when wearing dark eyeshadows but is a bit more of an issue with paler shades as clean up is required. The join between the head and neck of the wand has a weak spot so the comb tends to bend making it difficult to apply a second coat as well as replacing it back into the tube. I much prefer a brush style wand but I know lots of my friends like this comb style so they would probably enjoy this mascara much more than I did.

This mascara is fine, it's a good strong black, it gives each lash a nice definition so good if you like to have defined lashes, I didn't feel like it gave much volume, but did feel like my lashes looked longer. It applies well and I like that it's got a good flexible brush which makes it easy to apply in different areas. The mascara lasted well but was easy to remove with make up remover.

My lashes are fairly long but straight never hold a curl and are a bit of a nightmare.. this mascara instantly lifts my lashes, creates length and the hold stays all day. It doesn’t create a huge amount of volume but it is buildable. No smudges under my eyes and with an oil based makeup remover it comes off like a dream. I can’t recommend this mascara enough and it will be my forever go to mascara!

It was my go to mascara for many, many years.
I loved it what it used to do with my lashes. I was loyal to it and used it daily.
So when I bought new one, I had no idea they've changed the formula.
I knew, just after first application, there was something wrong with it. After doing some research, I've found out it wasn't just me..
Please consider bringing back the old version.
So gutted.. need to find replacement 😩

It has the skinniest brush you wouldn’t think would give the results you get with it. I find I can go from super casual almost tinted looking to a dramatic false effect lash primarily driven by the fact that skinny brush can get right into the lash line and build up the colour.
Plus the shorter bristles don’t get as much mascara on your eyelids!

i do not get why everyone loves this mascara. i have straight short lashes that i had curled so they were basically touching my eyelids was impossible to not get the mascara all over my eyelid and then when i tried to get it off it didnt even come off with waterproof makeup remover. after i finally got it off my eyelid, my eyelashes had already fallen. didnt even lengthen. run away from this mascara.

This is the only drugstore mascara that matches and even beats benefit bad gal bang. It is a really flexible brush and a wet formula which glides over the lashes right from the root. They never look clumpy and you can just layer more coats almost infinitley with no clumping. No itching eyes from bits crumbling off like with tubing mascaras. Please never discontinue!

Longer lashes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing transformation. Went on a little thickly, but easily remedied with a lash brush. The wand and brush head are really slender, I was very careful putting the brush back in, but it makes it easy for you to grab all the lashes without any transfer onto your eyelid and under-eye area. My lashes look so much longer, but nicely conditioned too.

Good telescopic mascara black

I had the pleasure of receiving this product for testing, and I am very happy with it. I really like this mascara because it lasts well and has a slim wand; it doesn't clump my lashes together. I used to struggle with this issue ..I even tried separating my lashes with a needle.. but I don't have that problem with the L'Oréal mascara. I recommend it.

Amazing length!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought about trying this mascara but I’m so happy I had the chance to. It has a really thin brush so you don’t miss a lash. The consistency is a little wet but you coat every lash and get a lot of length and good amount of volume. It stays in place for around 12 hours with minimal flaking under the eye. Even better when you use an eyelash curler.

A decent mascara but not particularly lengthening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high expectations for a mascara touted as the top selling mascara in the USA. The brush was suitable for my short, straight lashes but the formula itself was underwhelming. It didn’t really lengthen at all. Even the lower lashes which are very short and fine, ended up more clumpy than lengthened. It did last well but did not lengthen as expected.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Waterproof not for me!

Have always loved this mascara. If I have tried others have always come back to it. However, I recently tried the waterproof version as thought it would not transfer onto skin but it is actually worse. I have black smudges above and below eyes within an hour. I will return to the non waterproof version but even that one smudges slightly under the eye.
