AQUA / WATER and CETEARYL ALCOHOL and GLYCINE SOJA OIL / SOYBEAN OIL and BEHENTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE and COCOS NUCIFERA OIL / COCONUT OIL and SODIUM HYDROXIDE and NIGELLA SATIVA SEED OIL and CAMELINA SATIVA SEED OIL and BENZOIC ACID and PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE and LINALOOL and ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL and CAPRYLYL GLYCOL and HEXYL CINNAMAL and GLYCERIN and PARFUM / FRAGRANCE

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this range as it's great to see bigger brands putting out botanical options. I found this conditioner on the too-heavy side - the irony of course is that a frizz-fighting product is likely to be heavier in texture/feeling, but for me this seem to make my hair heavy, without noticably reducing frizz. I suspect the camelina ingredient may also be an irritant for me as all the products left my scalp feeling itcy. I had not used any products with camelina before. I think this would work better on very fine, light, frizzy hair - my hair I think is too thick and so it got weighed down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a really lovely conditioner. I have curly hair which can be prone to frizz, but this product left it soft, smooth, and detangled - particularly impressive given that this product range doesn't use silicones! The packaging is also really lovely, although I wish there was a little more detail about how to use the product on the bottle - I had to google to find out if this 'conditioning balm' was an in-shower conditioner or designed for use after the shower. The best part for me is the beautiful camelina scent, which really lingers long after you've washed your hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The conditioners packaging was average , just your everyday tube style, which I don't mind. The 'look' of the packaging I found to be a little ho-hum - but this says noting of the product inside obviously. . The conditioner itself did a beautiful job at leaving my hair soft and felling nice. The smell, again , like with the shampoo , was a bit over powering and not so fabulous in the smell-stakes to be completely honest. Overall though this conditioner was right up there with some of the better ones I have ever used. \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The packaging is nice but it's an upside down tube with a flip top lid, not a huge fan of those. The scent compliments the shampoo, it's a clean soft scent that smells lovely but won't overpower your perfume. The conditioner is very thick and rich, I only needed a very small amount. I didn't have to leave it in for 3 minutes , I just distributed through my hair, washed my body then rinsed it all out. My hair definitely has reduced in frizz without feeling costed. Will definitely use again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I don't have the kind of hair you can wash and wear, but sometimes I just can't be bothered straightening it. I used the balm the morning after washing my hair when I'd just dried it off with the blow dryer. The balm smoothed all the frizz without making it greasy or leaving a film and although I didn't wear it out (my hair is not wavy and unruly than curly) I was able to tie it into a neat ponytail without all the usual flyaway sand fluff. This balm is awesome for those lazy days!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved the packaging of this product more than the actual function. I have dry frizzy hair and after two weeks of continuous use, I couldn't say I really saw any difference in condition of hair. \nHas a beautiful scent to it, very fresh and subtle once hair dries. A really nice thick and creamy consistancy, easy to apply and washes out nicely. Did find that I had to wash my hair every second day as it got quite oily at roots and rest of hair felt heavy.\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally in love with this balm conditioner, it is just sublime!  Use the matching shampoo first for best results then apply a small amount of this lovely, thick balm then pop on a shower cap and let it work its magic.  It has the most heavenly smell, very sweet, nutty and slightly floral and I love the scent it leaves on my hair.  After 5 minutes (or longer if you have the time) rinse carefully in warm water (as it's quite thick, rinse well) and your hair will be soft, manageable and most importantly frizz-free but still very light and bouncy.  It doesn't coat the hair or weigh it down like some frizz products can, and it's free of nasties like sulphates and silicones which means your hair is naturally smoothed by nourishing oils and plant extracts rather than that silicone slick feeling.  Really great range and really great results, love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Am absolutely in awe of this product, along with the rest of the Botanicals with Camelina range.\nWhile most women go for conditioners that are twice the size of their shampoo partners, this isn't the case here. I have literally been using a squeeze the size of a 50c coin each wash. It's a thick, balmy texture that leaves my hair with the perfect moisture balance to curl properly. My curls haven't been so healthy in years!\n

Top 5 ways To Use A Hair Oil

Not sure how to handle hair oils? Don’t worry, we'll show you how to use them—even on fine hair.

HOW TO USE HAIR OIL

1. PRE-SHAMPOO TREATMENT
Our tresses go through a lot on a daily basis— everything from hot water to straightening can leave hair feeling brittle and parched. Try using hair oil as a pre-shampoo prep. Moisturising the strands before washing will help it retain its natural oils. Just add an extra step of applying hair oil before you shower and follow with shampoo and conditioner as usual. We promise, you’ll see the difference.

2. LIGHTWEIGHT SHINE
When you have fine hair, it’s easy to tip over into heavy handed territory with styling products. Unfortunately, doing so weighs hair down and gives it an overly oily sheen. Instead of piling on the products, apply a coin-sized amount of hair oil onto dry ends, steering clear of your roots. This way, you can enjoy silky shine without the added weight.

3. BLOWOUT PREP
It’s hard to get your at-home blowouts to match salon styled waves. While it may well be because the hairdryer is a finicky tool to master, there are other secret tricks of the trade to elevate your DIY look. The easiest hack is to add hair oil into the mix (and a heat protectant). Apply to damp hair and blow-dry with a round brush. Finish with a spritz of lightweight hair spray to lock in that smooth shine!

4. TAME FRIZZ
If you’re a victim of hat hair or the dreaded humid hair poof, you’re definitely not alone. Unruly hair plagues us all from time to time, but thankfully hair oil can help tame frizz and flyaways. Rub one to two pumps of hair oil between your palms, running it through the lengths of your hair. Once you only have a tiny amount left, smooth it over the top of your scalp – enough to keep any fine baby hairs in place but not so much that it looks greasy.

5. SPLIT END PROTECTION
Although a trim is the only real solution for eliminating split ends (for now), you can still help protect your strands on a daily basis with a dash of hair oil. Incorporating it as part of your regular hair care routine could make all the difference in delaying your next visit to the salon. Put it on wet or dry hair—both work!

Everything You Need To Know About
Purple Shampoo

We may never really know if blondes have more fun. Nevertheless, whether you’re bottle blonde or naturally blessed, you know there’s a fair bit of upkeep involved to keep the good times rolling. The key to keep your hair hues looking icy? A purple shampoo.

What is purple shampoo?
It’s exactly what it says on the bottle. A shampoo with purple pigments that keep brassy undertones at bay. Consider it your DIY tune-up to keep your new hue looking flawless for longer.

How does purple shampoo work?
While the concept of purple shampoo might sound a little crazy, it all comes back to colour theory. Purple is directly opposite yellow on the colour wheel, so the purple pigments neutralises any unwanted yellows brought out by things like sun or heat styling. While it won’t actually change the colour of your hair, it addresses the tone and nixes the brassiness. It’s basically your at-home toner.

How does purple shampoo fit in my routine?
Coloured shampoos should be used in conjunction with your regular shampoo and conditioning routine instead of replacing them entirely. If you're washing your hair thrice a week, introduce purple shampoo for the fourth wash. Overdoing the purple shampoo can leave hair colour looking dull and drap, which is the opposite of what you want!
All-over blondes will find the top of the hair more golden than the ends, so we recommend applying a concentrated amount of purple at the crown and letting it run out as you lather and rinse. The ends will catch the colour (they don't need as much anyway), so let it drizzle through.

Do I need purple shampoo?
Blonde hair does need more maintainence, but purple shampoo works across the colour spectrum. Dark hair is more prone to brassiness due to the amount of melanin it has, so brunettes will find purple shampoo surprisingly useful to get rid of those warm hues.

Where do I find purple shampoo?
Right here. Meet the brand NEW Elvive Anti-Brassiness Purple Shampoo, designed to hydrate, tone and revive coloured hair.
