Rated 4 out of 5 by from The conditioner of this range is presented in large tube format, which I like. Again, it's white, not purple and provides nourishing care to fine, coloured hair without weighing it down, which is definitely something I look for. The scent combined with the other products will last throughout the day and may not be appealing to all users, however I liked it. The lack of sulphates, silicones, parabens etc, the vegan-ness and the recyclable packaging are all positives for the ethical consumer and when the product performs as well as this does, I'm happy to recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So grateful that I have been able to trial the L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Lavender Conditioner. The beautiful tube with the flip top lid was a breeze to use in the shower- looked gorgeous on the shelf too!\n\nIt is quite a thick balmy conditioner but my hair did not feel heavy or greasy after use. I have very fine and fragile over processed hair and was delighted to feel that it felt softer and stronger after just 2 weeks of use  The scent wasn't as strong as the shampoo and it lingered subtly in my hair. \n\nLOVE that it is also 100% recyclable !!!! \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm so happy with this gorgeous range, I've finally found products that I'll happily repurchase. My hair loves this beautiful conditioner, it's hydrating enough for my fine, colour treated hair, but doesn't weigh it down or leave it feeling greasy.\n\nWhat I really love is how soft and smooth it leaves my hair, I don't even need to blow dry anymore, I air dry and am left looking like I've just walked out of the hair salon.\n\nThe lavender scent is gorgeous, soft and fresh, not that horrible toilet lavender scent. I'll definitely be stocking up when I run out. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used this conditioner as part of a trial, I was pretty happy with the results. I have very weak, thin hair and this product was very smoothing leaving my hair feeling nice and soft. The lavender fragrance was OK, thankfully not too overpowering. I love the design of the bottle and it comes in an easy upside down flip top so you can easily get all of it out. I was very happy to see that the conditioner does actually have directions on the bottle, unlike the shampoo and the mask. I would happily recommend this product to people with thin, fragile hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a lovely shampoo to use. It left my fine hair smooth and shiny, and while I found the scent a little string on application, it left a lovely subtle smell when dry.  My hair is quite fine, and I did find it to be a little heavy after use. It lathers very easily so a little goes a long way, and the enviro friendly packaging is a great bonus.\n\nL’Oréal botanicals conditioner\nI found this to be a fantastic conditioner. I’ve got lightened hair at ends, which is prone to dryness and frizziness. After using this product my hair was soft and moisturised, and I didn’t need to use any additional leave in moisturisers or smoothing products. Fantastic eco friendly packaging, and it’s great that it contains no sulphates and parabens.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The conditioner was really nice and again free from silicones, parabens and colourants, vegan-friendly and I liked that the packaging is made from 100% recycled materials.  I liked the consistency of the conditioner and my hair was a lot softer after using this product, the smell is lovely and relaxing.  I would like to see this bottle in a pump bottle as well for ease of use, and maybe a bigger bottle for the conditioner and smaller for the shampoo.  Overall I really liked the conditioner for my hair type and would purchase this product again. \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Lavender Conditioner is my new favourite conditioner.   It is beautifully smelling of my favourite scent which is lavender, and it is perfect for my fine and thin hair.    It is a very light weight but nourishing conditioner, which means it will condition and moisturise your hair, but will not weight it down, leaving it flat and oily, like many other conditioners do.   This conditioner is great value, a generous sized tube, has no parabens or nasties, smells incredible and makes your look radiant and shiny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from L'Oreal Paris Botanical Fresh Care Lavender Conditioner, was soft and silky I found out the hard way that a small amount goes along way!!!! Ifound this Conditioner made my hair shiny and soft it actually brought my hair too life, rather than being heavy and greasy looking. It comes in a great size that will last, as with the shampoo the lavender isn't overpowering.  Also the fact it doesn't have all those extra chemicals in it makes for an excellent conditioner suitable for people who want to take care of their hair and the environment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like what this conditioner does. I don't like the lingering lavender tang. Nor do I particularly care that it's vegan or should be part of my haircare 'ritual'. Quick; light the candles, start the chant. Seriously, it's a haircare product, not part of a meditation session.\nOnto the important stuff. This conditioner is light, emulsifies well and leaves my fine hair very tangle free. Not many conditioners achieve that without being too heavy. I have to keep it away from my oily roots but it does a bang up job on keeping my tresses manageable. The lid was a little hard to prise open with wet hands in the shower but otherwise, this product works well. I just have to consider whether carrying around the little old lady lavender scent is worth it.\n \n\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Lavender Conditioner is packaged in a 200ml squeeze tube with a flip top lid. I really like that this range has different packaging because it makes easy to identify in the shower. All of the bottles are eco friendly and 100% recyclable (yay!). \n\nWhat I love most about this conditioner is that it contains no silicones to coat the hair shaft! The consistency of the conditioner is thick and is white in colour. I applied a generous amount to my hair because it is a little on the dry side and I wanted to make sure it was all coated. The finished results were good; my hair was soft but still a little frizzy so I used the mask after every wash. The lavender fragrance is relaxing and enjoyable to use. I am loving this range! \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from L"Oreal  Paris Botanicals Lavender Soothing Therapy Conditioner  it felt like it instantly moisturized my hair and I do like the scent of the lavender felt very aromatherapy.my hair dryed without being really frizzy. I was very impressed with this conditioner and the fact that has no parabens or any other nasty  chemicals and the containers are recyclable which is a big plus for the environment. the packaging is absolutely spectacular. When you hair is dry you are still have a beautiful light fragrance in your hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The conditioner has the same lavender smell as the shampoo which i loved. The conditioner is quite thick, the first time I used it I only put a little a little amount which left my hair quite tangly. The second time I used it I put double the amount which seemed to work better. With all the natural ingredients in the product I can understand that it doesn't have that slippery silicone feel to it. I found that it didn't weigh my hair down and felt soft and bouncy. This is a product i find I will be using more and more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The scent is the first thing I noticed about this conditioner. The second is the fact that I didn't feel like I needed to use a huge amount of it after shampooing. Often my hair feels like straw after shampooing and I feel like I need to drown my hair in conditioner to bring the moisture back. This conditioner hydrates the hair enough without weighing it down. My fine hair felt soft and not at all frizzy. There was definitely a nice shine and I felt the volume was increased after a few weeks of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from  Thank you for letting me trial L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Lavender Conditioner just was so easy to use. The texture and smell was just beautifully dreamy. My hair was so soft and beautifully dreamy looking hair. It was totally suited to my hair concerns. I have been looking for something like this for a very long time. It really did help with everything that I was strugging to find. I would really recommend this product to any women who wishes to have there hair concern fixed for ever.\n \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing conditioner for fine and limp hair. Somehow this conditioner is thick and rich, but doesn’t make my hair greasy or leave it feeling weighed down. It is lovely and nourishing, leaving my hair feeling soft and fresh. The packaging is very chic and elegant, and the squeeze tube is easy to use, dispensing the product well. The only downfall, for me personally, is the scent. I am not a fan of the lavender smell, however luckily it isn’t overpowering and once rinsed out, the hair smells pleasant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the texture of this conditioner, and it spreads easily. I also felt a cooling effect the same as I did with the shampoo which was nice. Unfortunately this formula isn't right for my (short, naturally curly) hair as it smoothed and took the body out of it more than I needed, but in my daughter's hair which is curly but long, it created a beautiful shape to the curl after air drying. Also love the smell that lingers from the product. Really nice overall, pity it's not suited to my hair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The L’Oréal Botanicals Lavender Conditioning Balm is the perfect balance of weightless and hydrating for fine hair. It has the same lovely scent as the shampoo but doesn’t seem to last as long, which is a shame. I appreciate the squeeze tube as this helps to control how much product I use and it’s much easier to close in the shower. I usually prefer to have a more moisturiserising conditioner, and I felt my hair was a little frizzy after using this, but it did leave my hair soft and shiny.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Lavender Soothing Therapy Conditioning Balm is a great product. \nIt leaves my hair soft, silky and frizz-free. The lavender scent is devine and lingers in my hair for days after washing. \nThe only downfall for me and the reason it’s a 4 rather than a 5 stars is the packaging. The lid on my tube is quite difficult to open for a standard tube lid. I’m not sure if that was just mine or if that’s all of them. \nBut over all a great conditioner!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Firstly, the squeeze tube and flip-tab lid packaging looks luxe. The conditioner is free of silicons, sulphates, parabens and colourants. It is vegan friendly and the packaging is environmentally friendly. I'm impressed with L'oreal for upping their game and giving us a luxe looking product with sustainability and the environment in mind. \n\nThe conditioner is white and creamy and smells strongly of lavender musk. I apply a 20 cent amount to my strands from the chin down and rinse it off in about 3 minutes. It leaves my strands gently hydrated without weighing it down. Day 1 hair is ok with a little less frizz and fly aways than usual. Day 2 hair is impressive as the frizz appears calmer and my hair just looks clean, soft, shiney and manageable. The product does leave me strands smelling faintly of menthol. \n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was really happy with this conditioner: made my hair feel more volumised with a bit more grip. Hair is not limp by the end of the day and maintains good lift all day after blow drying. It’s definitely a better product than other conditionser meant for my hair type. I also love the packaging. Unfortunately, it doesn't smell like lavender. If they fixed the formula to make it less citrusy this would be my go-to. Though that’s a pretty personal issue, obviously. \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Lavender Soothing Therapy Conditioner by L’Oreal left my hair feeling soft but not limp - I have fine hair and often minimise on conditioner to avoid that limp look, so this product is perfect. The conditioner has a thick consistency and easy to massage into hair. Left my hair with a subtle fragrance of Lavender which I didn’t find too over powering. Definitely recommend if you have fine hair and want to create extra volume and shine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am a huge fan of aromatherapy and as with the shampoo, I loved, loved, loved the smell of this conditioner! Got several compliments for it as well. What I also liked about the conditioner was that it also left my hair very soft, but did not weigh it down.  Given that the product is vegan, I am wondering if it has been tested on animals at all? Overall, a great product and one that I would/will buy in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I received this conditioner along with the shampoo and mask to review and I loved this conditioner! I would definitely purchase this.\nThe conditioner was thick and creamy. For my fine hair I found it to provide a good level of moisturise that didn't weigh my hair down.  The smell was delicious, herbal with subtle lavender scent.\nPackaging was good in a tube with a flip top. I really enjoyed this product.\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this conditioner. I have coloured fine hair and am very picky when it comes to choosing hair products. However, this left my hair smooth and silky. The lavender smell whilst initially strong on application it leaves a nice subtle aroma afterwards. Which I really liked. \nThe packaging is great and being vegan is also an added bonus. I found I didn’t need to use a lot for my shoulder length hair. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like how this conditioner leaves my fine hair still feeling light, ad quite a few conditioners weigh it down.  It does tend to leave my hair a little frizzy so I do have to use further product to calm it down.  But that's where the mask comes in handy, as this is also light and helps with styling.  I could even bypass the conditioner and just use the mask, i'd be happy just to use the shampoo and mask..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have super fine but curly hair, so trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that will give it a good clean without weighing my curls down is pretty hard to do.\nI love the shampoo, but using it in conjunction with this conditioner made my hair feel amazing afterwards.\nThe smell is definitely one of the highlights as I love anything lavender scented, but the fact it didn't weigh my hair down and reduced the frizziness is what would really have me back to repurchase.  \nI used quite a bit of product, but I usually do when it comes to conditioner as I suffer from a lot of hair loss when washing my hair and need to use a lot of conditioner to lessen the knots and subsequent chance of losing hair after washing it and combing it.  I was really impressed with how my hair felt afterwards, and would definitely recommend this product (along with the shampoo and masque - I love the masque!)\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This conditioner left me surprised.  Many products for fine hair leave a heavy residue weighing hair down leaving it lank the next day. Not the Botanicals Lavender conditioner!  My hair has become softer and shiner as a result of the trial.  Where it has been over processed there appears to be  healthy strands.  Hair has responded well and I am incredibly pleased to recommend it to others to try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great conditioner that had a lovely fragrance and gave my fine hair a beautiful shine and thickness. The bottle is a good size and when I lathered it up it was nice and thick with a good consistency and natural fragrance. I will buy this conditioner again as it made my hair feel thicker and my scalp felt good and not itchy as it can be quite sensitive at times with some conditioners.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality packaging, lovely scent, and eco-friendly credentials are great in the L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Lavender Conditioner. The lavender fragrance is gentle and sophisticated, with a herb-scented finish, and only lingers in a soft way on the hair. The packaging looks stylish in its dramatic dark colours and the squeezable tube means you can use up all the product readily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This conditioner had a beautiful fresh smell. I recently had hair extensions put in and am limited as to what I can use in my hair, this ticks all of the boxes-no silicone, parabens etc.\nbeing that I have just had gastric sleeve surgery, one of the side effects is the loss of hair and thinning hair, this product also looks after those issues.I will be continuing to use this product!\n

Dry Hair Care
Top 5 ways To Use A Hair Oil

Not sure how to handle hair oils? Don’t worry, we'll show you how to use them—even on fine hair.

HOW TO USE HAIR OIL

1. PRE-SHAMPOO TREATMENT
Our tresses go through a lot on a daily basis— everything from hot water to straightening can leave hair feeling brittle and parched. Try using hair oil as a pre-shampoo prep. Moisturising the strands before washing will help it retain its natural oils. Just add an extra step of applying hair oil before you shower and follow with shampoo and conditioner as usual. We promise, you’ll see the difference.

2. LIGHTWEIGHT SHINE
When you have fine hair, it’s easy to tip over into heavy handed territory with styling products. Unfortunately, doing so weighs hair down and gives it an overly oily sheen. Instead of piling on the products, apply a coin-sized amount of hair oil onto dry ends, steering clear of your roots. This way, you can enjoy silky shine without the added weight.

3. BLOWOUT PREP
It’s hard to get your at-home blowouts to match salon styled waves. While it may well be because the hairdryer is a finicky tool to master, there are other secret tricks of the trade to elevate your DIY look. The easiest hack is to add hair oil into the mix (and a heat protectant). Apply to damp hair and blow-dry with a round brush. Finish with a spritz of lightweight hair spray to lock in that smooth shine!

4. TAME FRIZZ
If you’re a victim of hat hair or the dreaded humid hair poof, you’re definitely not alone. Unruly hair plagues us all from time to time, but thankfully hair oil can help tame frizz and flyaways. Rub one to two pumps of hair oil between your palms, running it through the lengths of your hair. Once you only have a tiny amount left, smooth it over the top of your scalp – enough to keep any fine baby hairs in place but not so much that it looks greasy.

5. SPLIT END PROTECTION
Although a trim is the only real solution for eliminating split ends (for now), you can still help protect your strands on a daily basis with a dash of hair oil. Incorporating it as part of your regular hair care routine could make all the difference in delaying your next visit to the salon. Put it on wet or dry hair—both work!

Everything You Need To Know About
Purple Shampoo

We may never really know if blondes have more fun. Nevertheless, whether you’re bottle blonde or naturally blessed, you know there’s a fair bit of upkeep involved to keep the good times rolling. The key to keep your hair hues looking icy? A purple shampoo.

What is purple shampoo?
It’s exactly what it says on the bottle. A shampoo with purple pigments that keep brassy undertones at bay. Consider it your DIY tune-up to keep your new hue looking flawless for longer.

How does purple shampoo work?
While the concept of purple shampoo might sound a little crazy, it all comes back to colour theory. Purple is directly opposite yellow on the colour wheel, so the purple pigments neutralises any unwanted yellows brought out by things like sun or heat styling. While it won’t actually change the colour of your hair, it addresses the tone and nixes the brassiness. It’s basically your at-home toner.

How does purple shampoo fit in my routine?
Coloured shampoos should be used in conjunction with your regular shampoo and conditioning routine instead of replacing them entirely. If you're washing your hair thrice a week, introduce purple shampoo for the fourth wash. Overdoing the purple shampoo can leave hair colour looking dull and drap, which is the opposite of what you want!
All-over blondes will find the top of the hair more golden than the ends, so we recommend applying a concentrated amount of purple at the crown and letting it run out as you lather and rinse. The ends will catch the colour (they don't need as much anyway), so let it drizzle through.

Do I need purple shampoo?
Blonde hair does need more maintainence, but purple shampoo works across the colour spectrum. Dark hair is more prone to brassiness due to the amount of melanin it has, so brunettes will find purple shampoo surprisingly useful to get rid of those warm hues.

Where do I find purple shampoo?
Right here. Meet the brand NEW Elvive Anti-Brassiness Purple Shampoo, designed to hydrate, tone and revive coloured hair.
