Also known as Dutch Braids, they're a fresh take on French braids, with the plaited part sitting on the outside.

How to:

Step 1: Smooth Stylista Braid Milk onto dry hair. Apply evenly to the lengths for extra grip and don’t forget the ends too.

Step 2: Divide hair into two equal sections by splitting down the middle.

Step 3: Take a small section of hair near your forehead and divide into three sections. Weave left section underneath the middle section (not over the top, as you do with French braids). Then, weave right section under the new middle section.

Step 4: Repeat and keep adding in more hair from the root as you move down your head. Pro tip: Keep braids nice and tight as you’re braiding to help them last longer (and you can always loosen them after!)

Step 5: Once you get to the nape of your neck, finish off like you would a normal braid. Secure the end with a hair tie and repeat on the other side!

Step 6: Smooth Stylista Braid Milk over the top of your plait for added hold and natural shine.
