Milla's futuristic beauty gives her the amazing ability to take on an infinite number of looks. Versatile and incredibly expressive, she is an international spokesmodel for L'Oréal Paris Cosmetics.
HER CAREER
Born in Kiev, Milla spent her early childhood in Ukraine before her family moved to Los Angeles. Inspired by her mother’s success as an actress, Milla began her modeling career at the tender age of eleven. Almost immediately she was gracing the covers of magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
In 1991, Milla launched her music career and in the same year made her cinematic debut in 'Return To The Blue Lagoon'. In 1994 she released her first album “The Divine Comedy,” which was entirely composed of her own songs, but it was her extraterrestrial role alongside Bruce Willis and Gary Oldman, in Luc Besson’s cult classic 'The Fifth Element', that made her a household name around the world. The film opened the Cannes Film Festival in 1997 and went on to become a huge box office hit.
Milla continued to work with Luc Besson and reaffirmed her acting ability, playing the lead role in 'Joan Of Arc', followed by her tour-de-force role in 'The Million Dollar Hotel' by Wim Wenders. Since these performances, Milla has been everywhere! She shot three films in 2001 'The Claim' by Michael Winterbottom, 'Zoolander' directed by and starring Ben Stiller, and 'Dummy' with Adrian Brody. She also fell in love in 'You Stupid Man', a romantic comedy written and directed by Brian Burns. Most recently, Milla turned her hand to hunting down zombies in 'Resident Evil: Ground Zero', the blockbuster adaptation of the video game.
